I had what I thought was supposed to be Orange chicken, but no Orange and only broccoli as a "Chinese" vegetable. My wife had Vegetable LoMein with no Chinese vegetables either. It was lukewarm. I used to come here when it was painted pink 10+ years ago and they used to give you free egg rolls if you bought like two different items off the menu. This is pretty solid "takeout" Chinese, made to order in a family owned and run establishment, with exceptionally clean everything, and lunch specials 11am-3:30pm every day. If you want something more authentic and less Americanized, then order something more authentic from the menu than sweet and sour pork and fried rice (or go to fantastic china in the heights). Stopped by for a quick lunch and ordered the Hunan Beef. It came with fried rice and an egg roll. Very tasty Hunan Beef with the right amount of spice. Rice and egg roll were good, but nothing spectacular. Lunch and a drink was about $8... Good bargain. Extremely fresh. You order at the counter and then get your food in a to-go container. Pretty simple. Nothing fancy...they have indoor seating and it's extremely clean. Staff was super friendly and professional. I would definitely eat here again. Observation: there was no restroom inside. Not sure why and it wasn't a problem because I was just in for a quick lunch, but it struck me as odd. Again, just an observation. read more

Having supper now, and the food is GREAT! The crab ragoon aren't too hot, but the spring rolls are delicious... Everything is made to order. The beef and broccoli is the best. Inedible. Greasy egg rolls, won ton soup that looked (and tasted) like dishwater and fried rice that I can only describe as nasty. I read some of the other reviews that were less harsh and some even complementary but from this, which will be my one and only experience, I can't imagine eating food from that squalid kitchen again.
