This is the 3rd time that my family and I have ordered from this location. I did not write a review the first 2 times in hopes of allowing the 3rd and final time to finally be correct! The first time the won ton soup was severely cold. Supposed to be 8 wontons and got 6. No biggie. The 2nd time we ordered egg rolls that were terrifically overcooked and dark brown. Had to throw those in the garbage as we couldn't eat them - not even one. The 3rd time the service was great over the phone but that's where it ended. My son likes plain lo mien noodles. My wife likes lo mien noodles with chicken. I wanted lo mien noodles with general chows chicken and 4 egg rolls. Instead we got 2 lo mien noodles with ingredients other than the plain that we ordered and one WITHOUT CHICKEN. I never received the 4 egg rolls however the remaining portion of my food was good. Honestly I wouldn't have even complained however the young man at the counter and over the phone stated to bring the food back and he would resolve the issues. I'm 20 minutes away so I said I didn't mind taking pictures of the discrepancy just make it right with me next time. He said we need the food back to prove that I was wrong and to bring it in! LOL. "How can I bring in egg rolls that do not exist?", I told him! He said my mom packed everything so I was wrong. Here's where I draw the line. They are overpriced to begin with. The same meal at Kang's Garden is $8 cheaper, friendlier and don't BS the customer.i didn't order from Kang's as they were closed for some reason. I love Lomein so I purchased the small jockey Lomein and oh my gosh it was so much food. Also I normally order the bourbon chicken with pork fried rice combo and again a lot of food and really delicious. The service is super fast within 10 minutes they normally have my orders ready. Really good Chinese takeout place. People are friendly and the food is good! Shrimp are a good size, not the little salad shrimp some places try to pass off. Also, the chicken and beef are real meat and they don't try to sneak in EVERY part of the chicken like some places do. Sauces are light and have flavor vs. Others that basically have the entree swimming in sauce. Vegetables are fresh, NOT frozen so they taste like they should. Love the rangoon folded up like origami pouches and fried to a delicious crispy finish. We take the food to go and it is so fresh, we can drive 10 mins home and it is not soggy. Wanted to really like this place but their food and customer service is horrible. So I see their seafood boil pics on facebook and decided to drive 30mins to get 5lbs of crawfish. First of all the person answering the phone didn't know anything about the boils I asked if they had crawfish then she had to put me on hold, I ask about whats in the house special seasoning, she didn't know. She spoke very nice English so that wasn't the problem. Anyways, I drove 30mins pick up my food and get home and all my crawfish have no heads. I have never in my life of eating seafood boils seen that, the head is the best part. Also they use precooked potatoes then freeze them and rebook again, I can tell by the texture. I want to talk to the owner first to see what he can do. He acknowledged it was his fault.Wanted me to waste my gas and 30 mins driving there to get a refund. What kind of a establishment ask the customer to bring back his horrible food in order to get a refund. I ask for him to drive to my house to get his food. He of course declined.
