Here's my problem with this restaurant. First off, the food here is really good. I mean REALLY good. Some of the best Chinese food in Lubbock. But here's the bad part. THEY'RE NEVER, EVER OPEN!!!! We've gone SEVERAL times over the last few months and only caught them open ONCE!! To the point of ridiculousness. I don't know if they'll see this or not but it's worth a try. This place is clean and quiet. Staff was very friendly and attentive. A good size portion of Kung Pao was brought to my table. All the vegetables still had their own flavor and crunch. Nice small simple menu. read more

The service was nice but the food was NOT good at all. Everything we ordered was bland. Sweet and sour shrimp you can tell they used some precooked shrimp because it was super dry and tough. The pepper steak had little steak and flavorless. And the general chicken didn't taste good. Also the rice was undercooked. We barely touched our food and the waitress asked us if we needed boxes. We love China Town! Everything we've ordered has been great, and they're delivery is always fast. Our favorites are the Spicy BBQ pork, General's Chicken, Mongolian Beef, and Pepper Steak. The staff is friendly and the food is fantastic. This is our favorite place for Chinese take out. read more

The food was great and the service was awesome. I ordered the sesame chicken and my husband ordered the sweet and sour pork both came with egg drop soup and an egg roll. We both ordered tea which came in a mug, we would have preferred a teapot and smaller cups but that's a personal preference. Will definitely visit again read more

This is American Chinese restaurant with dirty kitchen. Food is not fresh. The rice was the worst I ever had.

Best Chinese food in this area! We went with a few people and had the combination fried rice, wontons, egg drop soup (best I've ever tried), chicken teriyaki, beef szechuan , sesame chicken, & chicken lo mein. Everything was delicious ! The restaurant is very clean and the staff is very attentive. We will defitnely eat here anytime we want Chinese food! :) read more

My wife and I like good Chinese food and have eaten at some of the best places all across the U.S. We spend about 1/4th of our time in Lubbock and we've tried a few Chinese restaurants but we haven't found any that are really good. We read that China Town was the best in Lubbock so we gave it a try for lunch. I had Mongolian Beef and you would expect the main ingredient to be beef, wrong! The item should have been labeled: "Onions with a Little Beef". The fried rice was bland and dry. The egg roll was average. The Hot and Sour soup was very good. Service was efficient and very friendly. I always hate to give negative feedback because I always want to find great food but I don't think I'm going to find great Chinese food in Lubbock. read more

If you are looking for a great lunch at a super price and you like Chinese food, this is your place. Very reasonably priced, service is excellent, food is delicious and comes out very fast. I love the hot & sour soup, the egg rolls are great along with the fried rice. I eat hot peppered beef or peppered shrimp and they are both fantastic. Vegetables are crisp and the sauce is great! Soup, Eggroll, Meal, and your choice of rice less than $7 bucks...hard to beat. We love this place! read more
