All the items were good to very good. The chicken wings were full wings, well sized, nicely cooked, and full of flavor. At the current prices for this item at most places, this is a bargain, and a tasty one! The egg rolls, there were 2 of them, were small compared with those at other places, but there were 2! The roll was nicely cooked, and had a nice flavor. The Mongolian Beef was a nice version with plenty of tender, sliced beef. The sauce was a bit heavy, but was not totally overpowering. There were a collection of veggies as you see at many places, which is not what the original dish calls for, and seems to make the dish appear larger than it would other wise be. The crab rangoon was probably the best dish out of everything we ordered and some of the best we've had here in Winston Salem. The steamed dumplings were okay and would probably be better if they were eaten as soon as we picked them up and not after a 10 minute drive. Both entrees were good, however my husband prefers the beef with broccoli at our normal Chinese takeout place. The egg rolls were basic and glad they were part of the entree as it wouldn't be something we would order separately. At Kowloon, this dish (and others) is cooked to order in a giant, very hot wok. The dinner portion is certainly enough chicken for two. We order a side of pork fried rice and share it. The dish includes some small broccoli florets. The dish also comes with an egg roll. We order an extra one. To start our meal, we ordered a quart of Hot & Sour soup. Just the right kick, fresh mushrooms, bamboo shoots, chunks of tofu, and chicken broth. Served with crispy Chinese noodles. It is really good. I've been eating at Kowloon for 30 years.
