Placed my order Thursday 9/1/16 at 6pm online. Was advised that it should arrive at 7pm. A little long, but okay. 7pm rolls around, no food, so I call the restaurant to get an update. I'm told that my order has gone out for delivery and should be there soon. 7:15pm no food. 7:30pm no food. 7:45pm no food. Call restaurant again. At first I'm told that I'm wrong and I only placed my order 45 minutes ago. I advise that is wrong, woman finds my order and says it's out for delivery. I say I was told that 45 minutes ago. She says she's going to call her driver and figure out what's going on, disconnects. 8pm no food. Call restaurant to cancel my order and get a refund. As I'm canceling it, my food finally arrives, cold to the touch. I tell the driver that I won't be taking the food and I'm canceling the order. At this time they still have not refunded my money. I've had food from here 5 or 6 times now. I was excited to see a new Chinese place nearby because Fresh Wok kind of sucks. The location isn't very prominent, but I can't say it's bad due to its proximity to a lot of houses. I've only tried a couple of dishes. The general tso's chicken is good (order it extra spicy, not very spicy in standard form) as well as the Orange chicken. My favorite is the spicy crispy chicken. It's chicken chopped into small bits and seared quickly in a wok (at least I think) and has a slightly sweet, spicy sauce with some fresh jalapenos thrown in. There are some dishes that seem like a better bang for the buck. The general tso's and orange chicken are mostly meat if you're into that, which I am. The king pao and szechuan versions have more of the overcooked veggies mixed in. They use HUGE shrimp on the shrimp dishes. It might be better to use slightly smaller shrimp and give you a few more, but what can ya do. Give this place a go, it's obviously family owned and they use quality ingredients and seem to care about what they serve you. read more

Read a lot of good reviews, but was a bit disappointed. Might've been a bad night for the kitchen, but everything was a bit bland. Hot & Sour soup was nice and hot (temperature), but not so spicy nor tart like hot & sour soups should be. Beef fried rice had no vegetables (except onion) and the beef was tougn. BFR was also bland...no garlic, ginger, or soy flavor to speak of. Beef Lo Mein very similar to the Fried Rice, but with noodles instead of rice. Update 2/21/18 After waiting almost two hours now for my food to be delivered. Calling twice and told I would be called back within five min by the manager (but NEVER was). Not being offered any kind of compensation or even an apology by the manager, I sadly have to lower the star rating from 5 stars to 1. The food is not worth the hassle and frustration of having to deal with their version of "customer service". Take my advice go ANYWHERE else! Love this place, they always listen to my comments when I order!!! The food is exactly what your looking for if you have your mind set on simple but super yummy Chinese food. ordered off of yelp, but they contacted me to let me know they were unable to get in touch with the restaurant after 50 minutes. 70 minutes later still nothing, cancelled the order. Who knows if the food is good or not. Only reason I tired ordering off here is because a bunch of reviews said they did with no issues. So that being said 7 minutes after that post, they arrived. I had already ordered from another place and was lucky they were able to cancel the order. Order Orange Chicken - meat was a little tough but it did have a good flavor for the pieces that weren't Spicy Crispy Chicken - This was a very good dish. I ordered dinner on their website on 8/18. The website is something done through another company that allows them to take orders online. I usually cringe because these types of websites are generally not well done and seem to be put together haphazardly. They use a website called www.beyondmenu.com. The website was simple and straight forward. It was very easy to use and you can see the entire menu on one screen. It asked all of those questions that need to be answered, like what kind of rice do you want, or what level of spiciness you want for a dish. There is also an app for the phone. The app allows you to order take out, delivery or dine in. They were several other local restaurants in the area that used it too. You can also specify a time for your order to be delivered/ready. We selected ASAP. Simple but effective website. (FYI...I noticed that Yelp has a link for ordering for this business. We did not get to the website I talk about that way. We got there initially through Google Maps.) We ordered Beef Broccoli, pint of Hot and Sour Soup, Kung Pao Chicken ( I was able to choose the spiciness when ordering on the website) and egg rolls. When you order egg rolls they come in pairs. I ended up with 6. I ordered 2, that got me to 4 egg rolls. Also, you can select 2 free egg rolls once you spend $20. You can get 6 Crab Rangoon for free once you reach $30. Our total for food was $20.73 ( not including tax, extra). They do charge $1.50 for delivery and here is a $12 minimum order. I have no heartache with that. We processed the order on the website and it was completed at 7:44 PM, the delivery driver arrived at 8:10 PM. The website had given us an estimate of 8:30 PM. I included tip online and had to sign a sheet to authorize the charge and that was it. The food was in a plastic bag similar to what you get at the supermarket but bigger. In side that back was a paper sack, folded over and stapled shut. After opening I realized that they did this to stabilized the contents for delivery. Nothing was spilled or open, including the soup. FYI....the soup comes in nice containers to keep it secure. We actually have a quart container from where we ordered Hot and Sour soup previously that we still use on occasion. Everything was hot and fresh like it came out of the kitchen minutes ago. The food was good (as usual). They also provide packages that contain cutlery, fortune cookie, packets of sweet and sour, soy sauce hot mustard, etc. In short, they bring you everything. However, you get one packet of each sauce per person that comes in the little packets. If you need extra, there are text boxes on each item where you can ask for more easily on the website. I wish I had asked for additional hot mustard packets for the egg rolls but it never occurred to me when I made the order. This is not the first time we have been to China Wok. The food is always good. We have yet to have any bad experiences with them. I had been doing take out assuming that at certain times of day they would be very busy and it would just be quicker to order and go get it myself. This was the first time we used delivery and it was great. Zero complaints. Maybe the website will install some some of "anticipation circuit" so I'll be sure to get my hot mustard next time. Maybe even in the whole metroplex (I grew up in Fort Worth). Food is great quality (white meat chicken that actually tastes like chicken!), service is fast, and prices are cheap. Where do I start?!?! Ordering online was simple. It gave me a 45-60 minute wait time for delivery but it only took 20 minutes!!! I got crab Rangoon, beef with broccoli, fried rice and an extra egg roll (the meal already comes with one, I guess). The food was still hot. The flavor of the rice was so good I didn't even need the soy sauce. The portion was plenty (enough for several leftover meals). So glad I chose this for my first Chinese delivery. My fiance and I came upon this place one night looking for a good restaurant for a good price and came upon this place and low and behold it was pretty good. So I said we can also have them deliver to the house. Therefore we did do delivery and it was a total nightmare due to a racist rude delivery driver. He received the amount for my order and when we waited for the change back he throw the change at us and the money fell on the ground. Ŵe normally tip but we were low on cash today this one time but he was so rude about it. He had the nerve to say we never tip which is a lie. At less he could have asked if we needed our change back not assume. I did call and spoke to the manager and she said she would talk to him that was it. Delivery took 104 minutes. General Tso's was overly sweet and not spicy, despite requesting it very spicy. It was also over cooked. Egg drop soup was bland and, while it was very yellow, was very thin and watery. Egg foo yung, which my friend said "had the right flavors" was overcooked, and came with brown gravy, which was odd. We had one issue once, but it was nothing to keep us from going back (our call in order wasn't received some how), and we love it! Received the wrong order, called the restaurant and they said they gave it to the wrong person and would make me a new order and deliver it. Delivery guy shows up and takes the wrong order from me and said he'll be back in 5 minutes because he's going to the other person's house to get my order, which is 1 1/2 hours late and has probably been picked at and cold. I told him I wanted to cancel it and asked if I would pay him 10 dollars and he would cancel it. We ordered food through the China Wok/Yelp delivery service. We never received it. My card was charged. Screenshot everything from start to finish (emails, messages, etc. because Yelp deletes everything once they realize you are filing a dispute to get your money back. Once emails and messages are retracted, there's no proof that an order was ever made. They can't even find my account anymore! We are still going through dispute. China Wok and Yelp will send you back and forth playing a cat and mouse game, as well as your credit card company. read more
