I've passed this place for years and never stopped by but I finally decided to check it out and it didn't disappoint. They have a large amount of options and decent pricing. I really wanted an order of wonton soup and I loved that I had a few minutes bc it was made to order. I couldn't finish my half chow mein half fried rice double meat entree and even a cup of the soup. I normally will finish my plate but their portions were pretty good. The customer service was great. It wasn't super busy but the worker made small talk which made the whole experience feel personal. I only didn't rate a five star bc it has a small dining area. Not amazing, but not bad at all either. If you're craving those classic hole in the wall greasy noodles (which i was) definitely come here. Run, don't walk away from this restaurant. I pd 45 dollars for a 3 protein plate, ( That includes two tiny egg rolls, with no meat, a tiny portion of orange chicken, mushroom chicken, chow mien.) The container was 7 inches by 7 inches. MUCH smaller than the standard delivery container size. This was the absolute worst service I have received. I came in on Friday the 13th in December and right off the bat the lady was very disrespectful and dismissive. She only referred to me as 'you' or 'girl' and was asking for my order with her back turned to me then got upset when I didn't respond TO HER BACK! I then had asked for beef and broccoli and walked to the counter to get ready to pay she asked me 3 times what I wanted and I confirmed beef and broccoli 3 TIMES! Then when paying she slammed the bag on the counter and tried to refuse to give me my receipt THAT I WATCHED PRINT! I get to my car... SHE GOT MY ORDER WRONG. I went back in and told her that I was very nice to her and did not deserve her disrespect that this isn't a way to treat customers. I was recommended to this place by a facebook group I am in and I'm highly disappointed! I got beef broccoli with one piece of beef! On top of that, the rice is hard, the broccoli is hard, the chow mein bad tasting and my one piece of beef I actually got is horrible tasting! Booyea I finally found americanized-mexicanized chinese fast food potato chicken. I did not Wok, I expressed it over there. As I waited in line I grew anxious for the potato chicken, I ordered and hopped back on Alondra blvd. The one placed I knew which had this potato chicken closed down for business urban sprawl expansion of a major corporation a few years ago. Since this place was nearby a 96 cent store I dropped in and I was pleased. On a small plaza near 5 other plaza's of the Alondra/Bellfower corner, lies china wok express. I enjoyed the potato chicken, it tasted exactly the same as the one from the place I used to go to. It was soft, moist marinated potatoes with a bit of chicken. They also had some other items on the menu. They had a chicken stick which was a very thick, long skewer of chicken. They had the very hot spicy wings with added pepper seeds. They also had the customary chinese fast food items, sides, drinks and cookies. I have been here in the day and parking is ok, parking was good at night too. The place was well kept and clean with plenty of seating available. I will probably be back in the future for this potato chicken I am raving about, not Chef Ramsay but my cup of tea. read more

The orange chicken is usually tough and has been sitting around. The curry is watery. The ribs are tough and chewy. The potato chicken is made with frozen French fries....yuck. The egg rolls are filled with overcooked, mushy old vegetables and tasteless. How hard is it to peel potatoes? The owners are unfriendly, and sometimes just rude. The ladies who work there are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet! They are really polite and good people. I said I will take the combo #2 and you can keep the rice, the lady said we cannot do that so I said give me the rice. She wanted me to get the ala carte instead. Good quality fast Chinese food. The chicken was very moist. Food overall was very flavorful. The bbq pork was amazing. Definitely worth coming back for more! The staff here are extremely nice and you get a lot for what you pay for. I would rather buy food from here then panda considering how much healthier it is for fast food.
