Sweet & Sour Chicken w/steamed rice Shrimp in lobster sauce w/fried rice

Been coming here since I was a kid. The fried rice is now just rice cooked in soy sauce so that's a bummer, otherwise everything tastes good. Prices have increased a little for two lunch specials we paid $40.

There are days you just crave for some good Chinese food! My friend is not feeling well and he wanted a soothing hot soup and he wanted the War wanton soup from this restaurant because it has always left good memories in the past. So here we were, two worker-bees indulging on bowls of yummy wanton soup at lunch hour. The only thing missing is a cold snowy/rainy weather, LOL! The portion was generous; the vegetables( sliced carrots, cabbages, zucchini, and broccoli), the shrimps (3 pieces?), and some smooth chicken meat were fresh looking and delicious. You can tell the wantons were homemade because the fillings was very different, it tasted a bit like char siao meat, don't look for meat in the wanton which was just a smear; the chicken chunks in the soup should satisfy you. I could not stop slurping because the soup was so hot even after 10min car ride! Will sure pay a visit to the restaurant one day!

Small place but food is pretty good. Food here is made to order! Not already made buffet style pick & serve! Very delicious and fulfilling! I ordered the lunch special, includes one side order of your choice, I got the beef and broccoli with fried rice it also comes with small soup of the day, and an egg roll. I recommend this place Definitely would buy from here again.. Nothing fancy It's a small and cozy.

The Seafood Noodles had a nice flavor to the broth; however, I ordered it with egg noodles, which I would have preferred to be a bit more al dente. Honestly, it's basically…read morethe same broth, the king version just loads it up with brisket, tendon, tripe, and meatballs, so think of it as a fully stacked boat noodle. The broth is the star here. It's rich, flavorful, slightly sweet with a tangy kick, pretty sure there's some tangerine going on in there. Just a heads up, even "mild spicy level" has a noticeable heat, so if you're sensitive to spice, don't try to be brave... go no spice. The meats were surprisingly good, tender, not chewy, which is where a lot of places mess up. Noodles came out hot, no complaints there. We also got mango sticky rice and this is where they really sealed the deal. Mango was perfectly in season, juicy, sweet, not that sad sour off-season stuff. Sticky rice was soft and actually tasted like it was made fresh, not reheated from yesterday. Waitress was attentive and nice. Place itself is small, clean, modern, very mom-and-pop but done right, not rundown. I will definitely come back.

Ordered from here via third party app…read more Papaya Salad: it was okay. It came with pieces of cabbage (as opposed to wedges I normally get from other Thai places). I like how's there's more dressing as you get the taste of it in every bite. The dressing however was a little too fish forward for me and you don't get much acid. IMO, the fish sauce and lemon (acid) should balance each other out. They use big tomatoes cut into wedges (as opposed to cherry tomatoes which I normally have at other Thai restaurants), And they give a good amount of food. Chow Mein: my boyfriend ate this. He said it was okay. It looked pretty good to me. Thai ice tea: I ordered this with boba. And as I was drinking it, I don't know what was in it but it definitely was not boba. It was orange with a chewy texture. I checked the receipt and it clearly says BOBA.

Because let me tell you... it has been a **long, long time** since I've had Chinese food that made me believe in love again. Then the food came out. The rice? STICKY...PERFECTLY STICKY!!! Perfect. MOIST, not mushy... just minding its business and being amazing. Like, where have you been all my life? Why did you let me suffer like that? And the sweet and sour pork... listen... crispy on the outside, tender on the inside... it had layers. Emotional layers. I wasn't just eating, I was healing. The Broccoli and beef...game changer. The broccoli had a fresh snap to it mmmm fresh! But what blew me away was the beef, it resembled Wagu meet. So tender so flavorful. I was sitting there, slowly munching my night away, completely unbothered, living my best life like I had just found inner peace... in a takeout container, but better, it was on a plate! At one point I literally thought, "Is this what happiness tastes like?" Because I was in full "Wok Deli" Chinese style. No passport, no jet lag, just vibes. I didn't want to leave. I considered ordering more just to stay longer like, "Don't rush me, I'm having a moment." If you've been out here struggling like I have, eating mediocre Chinese food and pretending it's okay... stop. Go here. Fix your life. 10/10. Came for food, left emotionally fulfilled.

We were craving some warm pho on a cold night, and Soup Shop sounded like the perfect spot. The plaza Soup Shop is located in is usually super crowded, but if you go after 9pm when most of the other restaurants and shops are closed, you'll find plenty of parking. Write your name down on the waiting list at the front podium and then wait for your name to be called. They have a few seats to wait right outside the door. Once we were seated, we were given menus. I really like that their menu has a lot of large photos of the dishes, so you know what you're getting! Once we ordered, the food came out pretty quickly despite being busy. For appetizers, we ordered the Crunchy Pork "Bao" since it sounded unique. Inside the bao is pork shoulder, mushroom, Vietnamese sausage, and quail egg. The outside has a thin, perfectly crispy layer that gives a nice little crunch when you bite into it. Really enjoyed these and would recommend! We also got the Crusted Parmesan Cauliflower. Not sure what's in the sauce, but it's sweet, tangy, and delicious! It's also topped with fried onion, cilantro, cucumber, and parmesan cheese. Also a winner! For entrees, we got the Chicken Pho and the Pho Ribeye. For the chicken Pho, you can get it with thigh or breast meat. I got it with breast meat, and they gave a good amount of meat!
