I ordered through door dash. I've been a long time customer. I found a hair as I bit into the cream cheese wonton. That's so disgusting! I'll never eat there again.

One of Norwalk's hidden gems this Chinese food restaurant is really delicious. There is place for you to park. It's a pretty big shopping area. The restaurant inside is really clean very comfortable to eat in. I got our food to go. Customer service. Here was really friendly helpful patient will definitely come back and try different items on the menu. Food is amazingly good. Will definitely recommend you stop by for some good Chinese cuisine.

I've ordered take out from here twice now and loved it each time. String bean chicken, Mongolian beef made with filet mignon, eggplant... all good. The lady there was very friendly while working hard. Seemed like a mom and pop place. Portions are generous. Plenty of places to sit but never have. Casual place to eat out.

I've tried a few Chinese spots around Norwalk, but this one definitely stands out! The food was super fresh, flavorful, and came out hot (which is rare lately). I ordered the orange chicken and chow mein -- both were perfectly cooked and not greasy at all. The portions are generous too! The staff was really friendly and quick with service, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. You can tell they actually care about their food and customers. Definitely my new go-to for Chinese takeout in Norwalk. Highly recommend if you're craving good, classic Chinese food done right!

Woke Deli completely surprised me in the best way possible. I found it while doing a quick search for the best Chinese food near Norwalk, and oh my goodness I am so glad I did. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with the warmest smile by Winnie, who honestly felt like that fun cool auntie who always makes sure you're taken care of. She greeted me right away, helped me order, and even brought my food out to the table after it was ready. That kind of care is so rare these days and instantly made me feel like I was at home. I ordered the orange chicken with fried rice and it was perfection. The food was hot, fresh, and full of flavor where you could actually taste the quality. The portions were huge, definitely more than enough for one person, so I ended up sharing with my siblings later and they loved it too. Prices were super reasonable, especially considering how generous the serving was. I got it to go because I went by myself, but honestly, I kind of love eating in my car and watching Netflix and it made the meal even more comforting. But I would say there were families eating in there on a lovely Sunday and the ambience was just right. Everything about Woke Deli just hit right, the food, the service, the speed, and that sense of care that you don't get everywhere. I'm already planning to go back not just for the delicious food but because Winnie made me feel like family. Quick, fresh, flavorful, and filled with love, that's how I'd describe this place. Highly recommend.

My dad was hyping this place up and I would usually suggest something else. But I went with him and it did live up to the hype haha. It's a clean space and the person who took our order was super nice. We got the lunch special (which is available 7 days!) and it come with a soup, drink and an egg roll with one entree. I got the honey walnut shrimp and my dad got the filet minion black pepper I think. We also got it with fried rice. Everything was so good! And if you order of $50 you get a free Thai tea I believe. Great experience here

10/10! I always come here with my family. Today I brought my boyfriend & he absolutely loved it.He's very picky, so that says a lot! The lady is so sweet & attentive. Makes us feel welcomed every time.

Good was fresh and delicious. Our waitress was friendly and quick with our order. We were two people and inside there were two other people. Lots of empty tables. Very clean dining room and the restroom was clean also. We have to come back and try other items.

Beef Chow Mein, Super Bowl 11. Super Wor Won Ton Soup Mongolian beef with white rice. Thai Tea is perfect! Not too sweet.

Chinese food is freshly made. Has great flavor. And service is pretty fast. Plates are shareable portions, and will not disappoint.

Happened to be at a conference in Downey this weekend and we im the mood for Chinese food. The service was pretty fast and very helpful. The interior is a little small. We had a big party and needed to put a few tables together. If it's a large party, might be best to order Togo just to have a little more space.

How far in advance should I order for a party of 120 people?

Give it 1 week .they get busy here.

May I ask are the biggest differences between the Yun Chow & House fried rice?

They serve here alot. Worth paying and its delicious. I keep on coming back

Do they do like 2 item combos and stuff like that or only by the plate?

Yes, they do lunch specials or $8.99 from 11am-3pm (7 days) which includes daily soup, egg roll, steamed or fried rice, select an entree from menu. (Soup included for dine-in only and seafood is $1 more.). They are NOT like the typical "fast-food…

I ordered the Thai Boat Noodle and my husband got the Noodle King special. Honestly, it's basically…read morethe same broth, the king version just loads it up with brisket, tendon, tripe, and meatballs, so think of it as a fully stacked boat noodle. The broth is the star here. It's rich, flavorful, slightly sweet with a tangy kick, pretty sure there's some tangerine going on in there. Just a heads up, even "mild spicy level" has a noticeable heat, so if you're sensitive to spice, don't try to be brave... go no spice. The meats were surprisingly good, tender, not chewy, which is where a lot of places mess up. Noodles came out hot, no complaints there. We also got mango sticky rice and this is where they really sealed the deal. Mango was perfectly in season, juicy, sweet, not that sad sour off-season stuff. Sticky rice was soft and actually tasted like it was made fresh, not reheated from yesterday. Waitress was attentive and nice. Place itself is small, clean, modern, very mom-and-pop but done right, not rundown. I will definitely come back.

I like how's there's more dressing as you get the taste of it in every bite. The dressing however was a little too fish forward for me and you don't get much acid. IMO, the fish sauce and lemon (acid) should balance each other out. They use big tomatoes cut into wedges (as opposed to cherry tomatoes which I normally have at other Thai restaurants), And they give a good amount of food. Chow Mein: my boyfriend ate this. He said it was okay. It looked pretty good to me. Thai ice tea: I ordered this with boba. And as I was drinking it, I don't know what was in it but it definitely was not boba. It was orange with a chewy texture. I checked the receipt and it clearly says BOBA.

Bad if you want to eat there because it was so loud I was grateful I was eating alone and wasn't trying to have a conversation with anyone. You can add protein options like grilled chicken, shrimp, or tofu, and the portions are generous for the price. The garlic noodles were probably the biggest letdown. They barely had any flavor at all -- honestly tasted like plain boiled noodles tossed with a little oil. For something that's supposed to come with a house garlic sauce, there was almost no garlic flavor or seasoning. The special combination fried rice was also very underwhelming. For a dish advertised with chicken, shrimp, and sausage, there was surprisingly little meat in it, especially for the price. Then the #45 vermicelli was missing the sauce entirely, which is a pretty important part of the dish. Without it, everything was dry and lacked flavor. It's disappointing because the portions look decent, but when you're paying these prices, the food needs to taste good too. We ordered three completely different dishes and somehow missed on all three. Expensive, bland, and nothing really gave us a reason to come back.
