Appreciated a easy take-out lunch from here while visiting family on July 4th. We figured no one would be thinking Chinese on America's birthday, and we were correct. Lady on the phone who took out call in order was very nice. Food took a bit longer than the estimated ready time as it seemed they had very limited staff working. Located in a little strip mall. Standard Chinese take-out options and pricing. I got the Chicken and Broccoli combo special with pork fried rice and choice of soup (I got hot and sour) or egg roll for like $8. It was a good amount of food, for which I had leftover the next day. I did appreciate that it had a good amount of broccoli, and actually carrots too, in my entree. The crispy noodles in the hot and sour were on point, some places they kind of stale. I wouldn't say the taste was anything extraordinary, but average for this type of place. Hence why it gets an average score. But there is always a time and place for solace's like this, and this was it for us on the 4th of July lunch. read more

As my first review on this prestigious website let me state that I am a furry. I cannot and will not change, for everyone--I am a wolf, not a man, and I expect to be addressed as such. When I went to China Wok I was quickly told that I could not wear my fursuit in the building. This made me deeply uncomfortable--why would I want to eat somewhere I cannot be my authentic self? I've known I was a wolf, deep down, since I was about five or six. Whenever the moon was full in the sky, I felt myself growing restless, with this uncontrollable urge to let out an AWOOOO at the night sky. This is the way I have always been. This is who I am. And China Wok did not let me be who I am...not one bit. When I had to take off part of my fursuit to enter the building, it was like I lost a piece of myself. I still don't know if that piece will ever come back. The food was pretty banging though, hence the second star, but I am not sure if I will be back--at least, not until they learn to cater to the wolf demographic. read more

A suggestion to the business would be if you want people to continue to come back to your store you should give them accurate wait times whether that is updating it on doordash or just call in orders. The wait time here is ridiculous and me being a doordasher I wait in their store for 15 plus minutes for the order when it says it would be done 20 minutes before that. This place has really gone down hill.... It used to be a great easy way to get take out but now it is incredibly slow. Plan on waiting almost an hour for your food after you place it.. the last time I went there was dirty tables people had obviously eaten at and were left that way. I understand being busy and short staffed but I don't understand how it could possibly be that slow. I think it's because they prioritize door dash orders and accept more than they can handle. I love this place! Cheap, average (but good!) Chinese food. I wouldn't get their seafood just because we are in the mountains, not guaranteed freshness. Service is straightforward but friendly if you are nice to them-- Family-owned business that isn't going to bend over backwards to please you, they just do their jobs well (and that's enough!) Horrible place! Sticky tables, sticky menus and they can not understand English enough to take an order right. I ordered Walnut Shrimp over Lowmein and they brought shrimp with white sauce over lettuce with a side of rice. Visited China Wok today. The service was horrible. The wait time was long considering we were the only customers in the restaurant. Our young male waiter practically threw our food at us with no visits back to us to see if things were ok. The entire place seemed to be unclean. Most of the tables had not been bused or cleaned probably because all the staff was either busy on their computer, eating themselves or screaming at each other. I actually got up to check their sanitary grade before we ate to make myself feel a little better. 90. Sad part about it all was the food was pretty good. Don't get me wrong, the food is really great from this place, when it's hot. My friend and I ordered directly from the restaurant to have it delivered. The estimated delivery time was 5:27 pm. We didn't get our food until 6:10 pm. By the time we actually got it, a majority of the food was cold. Had they estimated that as the delivery time before hand, we wouldn't have been as annoyed. My friend waited out in the cold for 45+ minutes because she wasn't sure when we were going to get our food. They also don't give exact information as to how they planned to let us know they were at our location, so she didn't want to wait inside incase they didn't call or text her. This was the second time we've had to wait more than 30 minutes PAST when our food was expected to be ready/delivered to actually get it. read more

I'll be honest, the customer service here is terrible. At first their customer service was off putting, but I've come to appreciate it. in a way it's endearing. No need for small talk, strictly business type of place. The only things that rub me the wrong way are the children doing work and the bickering between staff members, but I'm guessing it's family owned and that's to be expected. Wait times are usually fair, sometimes a bit long. The food is nothing to write home about, but the prices are what really make it worth it. Is it the best Chinese-American food I've had? No where near it. Does it satisfy my hunger and my broke college student budget? Absolutely. Lunch special is probably the best deal in town. Crab Rangoons are really good cause who could mess up a crab Rangoon? Would I ever eat seafood here? Absolutely not. Would I be surprised if I got food poisoning? Also no.
