They have a garbage plate breakfast with home fries, cheese, hash, sausage gravy, 2 farm fresh eggs cooked the way ya want em, and your choice of toast. he had sourdough and partially eaten but in the picture. I had home fries, two eggs over easy, corned beef hash, and Italian toast. Both meals with one soda and a tall glass of chocolate milk was $39. Nothing left on our plates and happily full says it all! Two of us had breakfast July 2024. We have been to Pavlo's many times, and it doesn't disappoint - depending on what you expect. Pavlo's serves a fabulous basic breakfast at bargain prices. The chef knows how to make any style eggs, toast, home fries, and breakfast meat in a big hurry. My breakfasts here have always been perfect. They have a local bakery's (Cameron's) bread for their Italian - get it if you can. It's delish. Servers are busy and nice. They'll accommodate you if you want something different. If you're in Auburn definitely stop here for good eats! We stopped in on a whim and were glad we did. We were greeted by the owners, an adorable couple from Greece. So friendly and welcoming you almost feel like you're visiting a favorite relative. Seriously. It was bustling with activity when we stopped in on a Saturday morning. From the looks of it they do a killer business with both dine in and take out. Most tables were full and we were seated promptly. I ordered a veggie omelette and it was delicious. It was light and airy, completely different from any other omelette I've ordered in a restaurant. It's cooked, as Pavlo said, "like we make them back home". My husband got eggs over medium and they were cooked perfect. Our waitress was friendly and very attentive, refilling our drink glasses as soon as they were low. If you look on the wall you'll see tons of awards. Pavlo mentioned that the omelettes are what made him famous. We'll definitely make a return visit to try some other options like the gyro, mac and cheese or baklava. If you're looking for a casual spot for some good food you should add this to your list. Quite busy on a Sunday morning, but we only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. The tables seem to turn over quickly. On Sundays they only serve breakfast, not the lunch menu. It's wonderful that the menu is so heavily edgy, but they buy their eggs from a local farm and haven't raise their prices. Staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. I had one pancake and two eggs, which is on the menu as a special. The pancake was delicious, but very light not like the ones you would get at a pancake house. I could've eaten two or maybe even three. They have a very nice menu, and there were some daily specials posted. You can have a light breakfast, a medium, one or a heavy one, take your pick. Our party of 4 was looking for a good breakfast on our road trip and came across Pavlos. The service was very fast and attentive, the food was really good and came out quick even with the place being mostly full. Our only complaint would be that it is cash only and we had to use the onesite ATM. Not a big deal, they do have cash only signs posted at the entry, but we didn't notice them. My favorite is the veggie omelette, and the people there are always happy to add or take away any veggies you want. The home fries are crispy on the outside. Add some hot sauce on it and you won't be able to stop eating them. The servers greet people by names. My virginal Pavlos' experience was true to form and just as advertised. When a plan comes together well it's just not as dramatic as a breakfast ordeal could be. Really not much to report but the service was very efficient. I was seated, greeted, served, and checked on... by about everyone on duty. Total Team effort and done very discreetly. That is yo say I did not feel mugged once I was through. Coffee, Hot and always full, eggs Benedict also hot and yolks were perfectly runny, home fries were hot too. This place is such a hidden gem in Auburn, NY. I live in New York City and visit my partner's mom and we always make it a point to come here! Their home fries are simply the best and ohh their BACON is delicious as well. The interior will take you back to the 1950's. Menu is pretty basic with a heavy emphasis on breakfast. I've never dined in but we usually place a huge order for Sunday breakfast to be delivered to work, with a staff of over 50 it can be a long list, and the order is always spot on and delicious, especially for take out. The staff and owner are unbelievably friendly, patient and accommodating, i can only imagine what the service is like in house! I can't think of breakfast without thinking about Pavlos', and neither can most of Auburn because the weekends are usually jam-packed with hungry Auburnians looking for a delicious start to their day. (They also have lunch and dinner, but I can't not have breakfast when I come here, it's so good.) The menu is extensive, including any and every combination of breakfast foods you could think of, the Hungry Mans' special (I think that's its name) really is the best value for all parts included, even if you don't fully take advantage of the all you can eat aspect of the pancakes. The waitresses are always friendly and provide excellent service, and if you're lucky you'll get a celebrity introduction to the legend himself, Pavlo, who has come to our table to thank us for our patronage on many occasions. If you're looking for a delicious, fast, hidden gem of a diner restaurant, look no further! P.S.
