The food and service was second to none! Ono-licious pork fried dumplings, crab rangs, and wonton. With 3 combos, it was enough food for 4 hungry adults($36) and we had leftovers. They deliver but I opted for pick up. When i walked in everyone there greeted me all the way to the prep cook!!! Found my Chinese take-out here in Clearwater. We tried China Wok when our regular restaurant had to close due to a fire. We feel in love with this place after trying a few others out and realizing how great the food is. The quality, price and customer service is phenomenal! Our previous place recently reopened in a new location, but we love the food here so much that we won't be going back. The good: delivery was fast. The bad: The food was dried out, undercooked and generally unappetizing. General Tso chicken tasted like it was cooked hours before I ordered it and had zero heat. The fried rice was undercooked with dried up pork and raw onions. It was horrible. I wanted to give them a try since they were new to our area and the menu is on par to other take-out/delivery services in my area. The place started out very well for Chinese food in Florida. Just before Covid hit they started to go downhill. Old, stale chicken in the sweet and sour chicken. The beef on a stick prices rose as the meat got drier and drier, stale and often burned. They throw red, chemical crap from the sweet and sour sauce all over to cover how bad it is. Chicken wings are old, dried out and 4 times in a row fried until almost burned. They offer Hibachi rice on the menu at a much higher price, then the second time I order it they gave me their regular flavorless rice. I tell the owner and he says sorry and that's it. No offer to replace or refund. They brag about using fresh vegetables, but the main use is to replace meat in a dish. Beef with mushrooms is beef with mushrooms, not mushrooms, carrots, onions brocolli ... with a tablespoon of beef added as an afterthought. Their hot and sour soup has no heat at all, no sour at all and is a flavorless thickened broth. read more

This is the best carry out Chinese restaurant that I have been to. The food is excellent, and the staff are very friendly. I appreciate all the options that they offer including Chinese, Japanese, and Thai dishes. You can get lo mein instead of white rice with many dishes for a slight charge. They also offer a bucket of fried rice which my kids love. I have ordered from them many times in the previous few months and have never been disappointed. read more

China Wok is literally the best Chinese food in the Clearwater, Dunedin area! We love this place. No suprise that they have 5 starts on Yelp! They are fast, professional and make amazing Chinese food. We moved from NY and we were sad to move away from our go to Chinese takeout place but this has happily replaced that. New to the area. Tried a few Largo places that were "Meh". Came here for reviews and went to China Wok for the 5 stars. I wish I could give them a 6th just for being so nice! We ordered and paid online. Drove 15 mins to get there, had ordered the Gen'l Tao's Chicken Lunch Special, but it was well past lunch time. They called and left a message stating after lunch time, the Dinner Combo was $2.00 more. No problem. Get there to pick it up, and they gave us the free soda that would have come with the lunch special, AND 3 free egg rolls (only 1 would have come with the lunch special)! On top of it all, the food was excellent! The chicken was tender, the sauce perfectly balanced, and NOT neon orange. Also had wonderful boneless ribs, possibly the best rangoons I've EVER had, and chicken on a stick. Definitely worth the drive for pickup. Finally! Fantastic quality, quick-service Chinese food! The portions were very large, the meat was high-quality, but the real star here was the veggies. On the menu it touts that they only use fresh vegetables, and I wondered how much of a difference that would really make. Well, apparently it makes a huge difference.
