There were SO MANY Bone Fragments found in their Chicken! VERY SHARP AND HARD Bone Fragments. Not to mention the "Chicken" doesn't even taste like Chicken. They are Abnormally Shaped Pieces of some kind of Meat with a Dry, Hard to Chew, and Unpleasant Taste. The Sauce they drizzle on the Meat is liquidy and has NO Authentic, Home-Made-From-Scratch taste. It's most likely Pre-Packaged Ready-To-Use Commercialized Sauce they throw on everything they "Make". 2 of my Teeth got cracked on the Top Left Side of my mouth from the Sharp Bones in the Meat. This was So Embarassing considering I bought $68 Bucks worth of this Trash to feed my Guests (Friends and Family) at my house, who also experienced Bone Fragments in their Food. We All Did Not hesitate to stop eating this Trash Immediately. Called and made a Complaint, instead of them offering some kind of Solution or Assistance, they HUNG UP ON ME. I can't even Believe they're STILL in Business. I don't get it. Save yourself the TIME and TROUBLE, your HARD EARNED CASH, and your TEETH. Avoid this China Wok on Lee Trevino across Hanks High School. Unless you want Meat that I'm not even sure is Actual "Chicken" with Sharp Bones in Every Bite, be my guest. I have Pictures of some of the Bones I found in the "Chicken". If there is an Option Available to Post them on here, I will. Please Beware of Restaurants like these who don't give a Rat's A** Which is probably the kind of Meat they use. Not sure if there are any other Restaurants that they own throughout the City.. I know they Own this place and the Stores right next to theirs, which they Rent Out. Just Be Careful and Beware of their way of Business. They only care about MONEY. Came in for another great meal. We ordered the Hunan Beef and the Hunan Chicken. Both plates were out in about 3 minutes. Hot, freshly made, and very tasty. The restaurant was clean and presentable which is always a plus. Our waitress was very helpful and very pkeasant to talk to. She knows the menu very well and was able to make suggestions on what we might like. This place does not disappoint. Food is awesome here, and the price is great for what you get. Sold me 2 plates w bad old rice ready to spoil. No apology. Made me drive back after I picked it up for lunch. Refused to give full refund and argued the rice wasn't bad and that we ate some of the food(coworker ate around the spoiled food my plate was full) therefore no full refund. Chinese food options are plentiful here in El Paso, but there's something about China Wok that feels really authentic, not like "Chinese from China" authentic, but "big-city Chinese" takeout authentic, it's hard to describe, but you'd know it when you see it. The menu offers all the classic dishes you would expect from a Chinese takeout, and most of them are pretty good. I particularly enjoy the combination lo-mein and any protein in garlic sauce. I also recommend the steamed dumplings. Oddly enough, my least favorite dish so far is their General Tso chicken, the way they fry it and the sauce is a little different than I'm used to, and I'm afraid of change, jk it's just not pleasing to my taste buds. read more

The food is almost flavorless, I got the beef fried rice, which I've had hundreds of times from different places, and this one was weird. Not fried but steamed and had waaay too much onion in it, plus the beef didn't taste like much. Their menu has dozens of items to select from which makes their ordering super slow. Okay I've eaten at soooo many Chinese food places in El Paso this is the only one that I will go to and when people visit and want Chinese this is where we go and they are never disappointed. But I do always stick with either the seaseme chicken, house special mei fun and the chicken and broccoli with no other vegetables in it. I like Chinese food, have liked it since i was a kid back in Juarez. I like restaurants more so than Buffets because of the fact food just tastes better. I've eaten at a couple of restaurants across El Paso and it just doesn't feel the same, and honestly sometimes i just want something i can take home. China Wok covers all of these problems. The service is great every time i've been there, Jessica the girl at the counter (who i've always had luck getting when i go) is always smiling and full of small talk for when i wait for my meals. The place seems like your average chinese spot in a strip mall but as soon as the flavorful aromas of the kitchen hit you, you know you have made the right choice in coming here. Their lunch special is by far the highlight of the restaurant. Huge servings at a reasonable price is something everyone looks for in a lunch place, but the way China Wok makes it work is that the food is more than just good its great. We often settle for second best food if it means they give us more, bur here they don't sacrifice flavor in their large quantities. I am sure to visit this location over and over again, and maybe even try out some of the stuff i have never tried at other restaurants here, since i feel comfortable enough knowing that everything i have tried from here has been amazing. read more

We also got shrimp fried rice which was yummy and shrimp curry with onions which was the star of the meal. Both my husband and I agreed on this. It had a medley of veggies and plenty of shrimp that were huge. It's not super spicy. My husband isn't even a fan of curry and he loved it. My husband and I tried this place last night, and overall it was a great experience. The lady working the register was friendly and patient while we explored the menu, and answered any questions we had. We got exactly what we ordered with no mistakes or surprises. As far as the food goes, I really LOVED the potstickers! They were so good! We chose chicken fried rice, which was also pretty good, wish it had a little more flavor... but nothing some soy sauce or hot sauce couldn't fix. The orange chicken was good, my husband loved it, but I think I actually prefer cheaper quality orange chicken... I'm ashamed to admit! Definitely would recommend!
