This place might be smaller than your usual restaurant but the food tastes amazing. Ordered some noodles with vegetables and I couldn't had been more satisfied when you combine it with some good tea straigh from the pot. The the ambiance is nice and silent. Just getting your daily intake of vitamin delicious and a great conversation. The parking offers enough space and the service was great. Sitting next to the counter might have also helped and provided a nice view on how nice the staff are with everyone that walks in. Can't wait to come back. Provecho! read more

Solid place for a quick lunch. The hot and sour soup was a veg version (so many places do this now - I miss the pork), but tasted good. They even served the crispy noodles with it. The shrimp and veg stir fry had a nice assortment of crisp, fresh veg. And the giant bowl of chile paste to spice it up was what won my over. I'll be back. read more

I stopped by HomeSweets today to try to get their lemon bar cake and they were sold out again and realized it was lunch time. I noticed that this new Chinese restaurant just opened a few months ago and figured I'd try it out since it was always busy. Their lunch specials are a great deal with an eggroll, soup (hot and sour or egg drop), steamed or fried rice, and lunch sized entrees run between $7-$12. I of course wanted to try their chef special of salt and pepper prawns with jalapenos and onions. It came with soup (I chose hot and sour), and had a choice of appetizer (eggroll, cream cheese wontons, or pork wontons), and rice. The soup was definitely strong in flavor (spicy and vinegary) and they were very generous with the ingredients, but my favorite hot and sour soup is still from OG Chan's. The wontons were bursting with cream cheese and I've never had so much dipping sauce for just 2 wontons, lol, and it was steaming hot, which was a first. I think it's the same sauce they use to coat their orange chicken/hot and sour entrees. The prawns were perfectly round which makes me think it's probably frozen and they just deep fry then stir fry to get the flavor. It's ok with me, since the flavor waa good. They added green onions alongside white onions and jalapenos and it was very delicious. There were a lot of older folks there since the meals are so nicely priced and the service was very friendly. The staff was friendly and very helpful and always filled our drinks. I really enjoyed the pan seared some things with their sauce. I also enjoy the sweet-and-sour chicken with the sweet-and-sour on the side. Hunan Veggies was also really good. No potatoes serving sizes are really large and it's plenty of food for four people easily. Not sure why they only have three stars but maybe someone was not having a good day. I can only rate this one 2 items because that is all I tasted. So I've been wanting to find a good "hole in the wall place" that's clean and good. So I kept seeing their signs on that side of town so I decided to try it. I was craving some delicious Lo Mein. I'm very picky with my noodles, they can't be soggy or too hard and I don't like the noodles super thick. It was pretty good. They do provide a good amount of food (Chinese to go little boxes) . I would go back to have it. It does come with a good amount of veggies and chicken. I also wanted to try the cream cheese wontons, (Rangoon's for some) too plain. No chives in it no crab or anything, just the cream cheese. One good thing is that they are filled pretty good. Once again my parents were craving Moo Goo so we had it delivered l! My driver Juan was great and he actually got it to us quicker than the time said it would arrive! Now down to the food, I got my usual sweet and sour chicken which was DELICIOUS, My mom tried something new and got the Mongolian beef which she also said was very good and actually prefer this over the Hunan beef (but she says both are very good!) will definitely be back! read more

So I had gotten a menu from here awhile ago but just got to try it. Fried dumplings were amazing! That alone made my night, the spicy chicken lo mein was pretty awesome. I will definitely go back and be a repeat customer. The only recommendation is ask for less vegetables in the lo mein, they were a little over powering but still delicious! I'm going to say 2.5 but round up to 3. I'll tell you why later. I wanted to check out this spot recently because they opened a few weeks ago. I ordered delivery from Yelp. I'm sorry to say but I can't recommend the food I had. Maybe other entrees taste better than what I had? I ordered the chicken fried rice and teriyaki beef. The chicken fried rice was sort of bland in flavor. I added soy sauce and it tasted a little bit better with it. The teriyaki beef wasn't good at all. I could only eat a little bit before tossing it. I was really hungry, too! Even then, I couldn't eat anymore of it. I gave some to my dog because he kepted begging for it and he liked it (luckily). It was chewy and tasted old. It didn't taste like the teriyaki chicken I've eaten in the past at other places. I think it also had sesame seeds in it on top of some type of lumpy batter. Oh and another thing...my entree didn't come with rice. I didn't see any for sale besides fried rice with meat in it. I also didn't see any white rice available on the menu. I thought that was kind of strange. I assumed I would get some kind of rice with my teriyaki beef but I didn't. That's why I also went with the chicken fried rice. I'm rounding up to three stars because they delivered it quickly. The delivery driver was nice and friendly. However, I was disappointed with the food. The food wasn't worth $24 and change. I doubt I'll be back. El Paso doesn't have too many great options for Chinese food. There are some average places but this isn't one of them. Like I mentioned before, I cannot recommend to anyone. I tried this place because a flyer was left at the door. It is a small restaurant, and the food was not good. Food was not fresh, and it was heated with their microwave. The food is like the frozen food you would heat up from Walmart. The only thing good was the service of the waitress. If you want microwave heated frozen food, this is the place. Would not recommend. It is a shame I cannot give 0 stars. I got a surprise in my food: garbage, in the form of a dirty water bottle cap at the bottom of my takeout box. Luckily, I was going to eat it at home, and I found it as I poured it out on a plate. I love this place as it has become a go to for me when I'm El Paso! From the creamy coconut prawn, curry shrimp, sesame chicken, fried rice, pot sticker/dumplings, fried rangoon, etc., the food is amazing!! Always consistent, fresh, full of flavor not salt. Ordered dinner for my mothers birthday. We each had a chicken dinner and the chicken was cold. I called the store and they said couldn't do anything about it that it was the Uber drivers fault. They told me the Uber driver waited 14 minutes for the food to finish cooking which was a complete lie because we were tracking her on the app and I paid for priority delivery (plus I live 5 minutes away) . Below is a picture of the salad rolls, couldn't even pick them up to eat them. I called and when we picked up the replacement the woman came out and dropped it on the counter without a word, the replacement was not eaten because of her attitude; we were afraid of what was done to the food.
