Take-out order. Pleasant staff. Ordered shrimp spring roll and egg rolls. Suggest passing on both. Stuffings were mushy and not flavorful. Singapore Mei Fun was great on the spice level but a bit lacking on proteins. Honey Walnut chicken was easily the winner. Truly nothing special. Is China Wok the best Chinese food I've ever had in my life? No. Is it the best Chinese food in Fort Myers? Again, No. Are they open just days after Hurricane Ian destroyed our town? Yes. Absofuckinglutely. In the midst of our community clearing out, cleaning up, and rebuilding, they are serving their full menu. Would I love something more authentic? Sure. But after days of eating cold food out of an igloo cooler, the Chicken Broccoli with Fried Rice Combo Platter was generous and amazing. Plus, it came with an egg roll and THEY ARE OPEN. I moved out of the state a few years ago, and honestly missed this place so much. I visited and knew I had to stop by. Incredible pork fried rice - better than anything I've found since moving to the west coast. The sweet and sour chicken was so good. I used to live off their bourbon chicken, but I can't vouch for it now as I'm not sure if it's the same anymore. I took off a star because sadly, my favorite part of this location was always their eggrolls and it seems they've changed. I'm not sure if it's under new ownership, but the eggrolls were awful now. China Wok is very good, ready fast. No dine in, everything is take out. We had a Pu Pu platter, pork fried rice, sweet n sour chicken and extra krab rangoon. We also ordered soup for dinner, making it a lovely Chinese food day. Even got a great fortune in my fortune cookie, so a good day with good food all around...Can't beat that! Plus, there was enough sweet n sour chicken and pork fried rice for our lunch tomorrow. The only reason it is not 5 star is that the sweet n sour chicken lacked traditional grilled onions, peppers and pineapple, which would have been great! Also, the doorway is barricaded and compartments created to pay by credit card and pickup your food, so less friendly than every other food business we frequent throughout Lee County. I am sure it is because of C-19, but that has been a non-issue in SWFL for nearly a year. read more

We had food delivered last weekend, the delivery was good but certain dishes were terrible. The Singapore noodles were overcooked and mushy, too much water. You can pour the "sauce" from the container. The sesame beef was not crunchy, the fried rice was ok. Not a good experience. read more

Pretty average for take out. we had the szechuan beef with mixed veggies, fried rice, egg roll & crab meat rangoons. The other order was Geneal Tso's chicken combo platter and hot & sour soup. The szechuan beef was adequate but the meat was tough. Not spicy at all, but advertised as such. Same with the General Tso's chicken. Fried rice was cubed pork, very little carrot & scallions & soy for flavoring. Too simple and flavorless for us. The crab rangoons were the flat frozen kind. The egg rolls & soup were the only highlight but even those were just alright. If this is the best offered in the Ft. Myers Beach area, then ya'll need some help. My local relative recommends trying Jing-Du on Cypress x 41 (Japanese Buffet). read more

The last two times we have had food from China Wok have not been good experiences. It seems that the oil is old and gives the food a burned taste. We ordered food for delivery. I thought it was delicious!! It had just come out of the kitchen nice and hot when we arrived to pay. I ordered Hunan Chicken; my friends ordered General Tso's chicken and vegetable fried rice. There were veggies in all of the dishes - the veggies were fresh and not over cooked. In fact they were perfectly cooked. No mushy broccoli or carrots or peppers! When we opened the fried rice, it was filled with these wonderful, fresh veggies! Cooked perfectly. The Hunan chicken was mildly spicy, so if you want more spice, ask them to kick it up a notch. I am definitely going back! read more

"I'm a fan" because this has to be one of the better Chinese take a way places in the area. We've had so many random issues with other places, that it's no surprise every time we order something, it comes cooked perfectly and tastes great. The vegetable chow mein is crisp and clean; I've had it in other places where it's mush. The General Tso's Chicken has just the right kick, but not over powering. The Sesame Chicken has plenty of sesame seeds drizzled on the chicken, but it's evenly dispersed so there's no one piece that's completely covered. I'd suggest getting the lunch combinations if you're there during lunch because there's enough food to last two meals. It's relatively inexpensive ($5.75, if I recall correctly) and you get fried rice and a drink with it. I do have to point out, that with the rice, there are equal portions of the rice to protein. It's not 75% rice to 25% whatever you ordered, which is a good thing because you can fill up better on the meal [like the Chicken dishes]. Some places I've visited give you more rice then protein, and you look at the dish like "where's the meat?". Definitely going back! read more

Lunch portions are huge. The lunch is so reasonable in pricing I eat there almost every week. My favorite is the crab wontons. They are made fresh with every order. Staff is friendly.
