    Walnut Shrimp

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This restaurant is tucked into an unassuming strip mall. Although it may not look like much from the outside, it exceeds expectations.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We always come here within the area. The honey walnut shrimp is among the best I have ever had. And the Mongolian beef is a winner as well. We always ask for the same server, Corinne, who is very sweet and attentive. 5 stars

We love this Chinese restaurant. Our waitress Pepe was the best we have had her for several years ! [[HIGHLIGHT]]We really enjoy this restaurant it's very authentic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is the best Chinese restaurant in my opinion. We love the dim sum from11-3.

Really enjoyed dining here for lunch on a Friday afternoon. Restaurant wasn't very busy so we were seated very quickly. I was pleased to note that the staff was quick to move seats around to accommodate a stroller. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is very clean and the staff is friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There aren't many dim sum spots in the area so we are excited that we enjoyed our meals here. In addition to dim sum they have a full Chinese menu. I ordered the crispy roast pork and crispy duck, both did not disappoint

Today Dave and I wanted dim sum. So we went to Ginger Bistro in Ft. Myers. It's located in the mall where Burlington Factory is. The outside of the strip mall looks sort of run down, but Ginger Bistro is the exception. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is warm and inviting and it has two dining rooms.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Some tables have lazy Susan's for sharing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were seated at the front of the room where you come in. We perused the menus and decided on regular dishes instead. Dave got the Clay pot Chicken Curry. It was loaded with veggies and chicken in a hearty sauce. I had the Chicken Sweet and Sour Soup which had veggies, tofu and chicken. It was Yummy. My main dish was an Eggplant with Garlic Sauce and I asked for no extra salt to be added. It was delicious. We both had iced teas and our server gave us fresh tea in to go cups to take with us. We hope to return again and try the dim sum! So many people were ordering them.

Amazing food and great service, I went here for my birthday, it's a bit expensive but not outrageous. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the atmosphere and you can see the Peking Ducks in the window it's pretty fun.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We've been wanting to try Ginger Bistro for a while for dim sum and we're excited to finally be able to make it in time(dim sum is served between 11-3). [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside of the restaurant was surprisingly very nice compared to the plaza that it is.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff was Greta about answering any questions we had. We had some dietary restrictions and they marked what items on the dim sum menu were safe to eat. We ordered the dim sum platter, which was a great way to try different ones. It came with 2 pieces of 4 types. We also ordered some additional dim sum to try. The favorite hands down was the seafood pancake. We would come back for that alone! If you aren't interested in dim sum, they still have a very large menu to choose from, including lunch specials.

Do they have yum yum sauce?

When I complimented it, the young man said they made the noodles. "We've 7 to 8 people in the kitchen on weekends." Simple and clean decor. The yellowish Jasmine tea tins are neatly stacked on the shelf, soothingly. One pot of orchid - couldn't tell if it's real. The location is convenient, right off I-75. Wish they would add two wisps of leafy veggie to the beef chow fun, which is the norm, and better vinegar. 3% surcharge for credit cards. The server also said the location opened 3 years ago, and the one in Sarasota 7 years ago. "Yummy House is ours, managed by two sisters; King by brothers." One will soon open in Jacksonville: good luck 马到成功 -:) By the way, one of the chefs from their Sarasota location left to open their own shop, named Dim Sum Kitchen. No wonder they gave me a tight face when I unknowingly asked about the names: so similar and so close in spelling. Ok, heading down to the tennis - Miami Open. Today's sunshine may be the last we see, because the weather forecast calls for rainy days.

The sushi looked room-temperature and dried out. The hot bar was steamy and weird. The hostess had a real owner vibe and was all business - not friendly whatsoever. After walking all the way through the restaurant and back to the hostess station, I decided to protect my future stomach and refrain from eating here. I was surprised at the discrepancy between the overall star rating and what I experienced with my own eyes, nose, vibe. Easy pass!

But the cold items, specifically the snow crab legs were very salty, we had to wait for them to bring out more clusters. On the dessert table they stopped stocking the Napoleon pastry and the Chinese ear cookies. The servers do keep up with removing used plates and refilling drinks. The interior hasn't been updated in the 15 years of so we've been going. There is caution tape on the floor where the flooring has cracked. We do appreciate the senior discount which seems to be a dollar or so off the listed price but you have to ask for it.

Listen, sometimes you just want what you want--and what we want is P.F. Chang's. Say what you will…read moreabout chain restaurants, but this place delivers. Started with the fried dumplings, and let me tell you, they brought back the hot plate experience. That sizzle when it hits the table? The crispy bottoms? The little ceremony of it all? Chef's kiss. It's the details that matter, and P.F. Chang's remembers that. The Mongolian beef remains undefeated in this household. Caramelized, savory, just the right amount of sweetness with those scallions piled high--this is our go-to, our never-fail, our "why would we order anything else" dish. And yet we do, because the chicken pad Thai (no tofu, thank you very much) holds its own. Solid noodles, good flavor, no complaints. Wash it all down with an ice-cold Sapporo or a Ha-Chi on tap, and you've got yourself a proper meal. But here's where it gets bittersweet. Our favorite bartender, Matt, is gone. After almost three years behind that bar, he's moved on--and honestly? The experience just wasn't the same without him. We've been coming here for over two years now, practically since we first moved to Southwest Florida, and Matt was a big part of why. He knew our order, knew our vibe, made us feel like regulars in the best possible way. So Matt, wherever you landed--we wish you nothing but the best, my friend. You made this spot feel like our spot. The Verdict: The food still hits, the beer is still cold, and P.F. Chang's remains a reliable favorite. But losing a great bartender stings. Four stars for the meal, and a raised glass to the guy who made it feel like home.
