    Boneless ribs lunch special
    Julia F.

I've eaten here a few times when I'm in Harlem but I usually get their wings. I recently tried their boneless ribs lunch special with fried rice that also comes with a drink. It was ok. The ribs were good but the fried rice could have been better. The portions are big and prices are reasonable. I eat here when I'm in the mood for Chinese food that's close by but I've had better Chinese food in NY, specifically in Brooklyn. Also, the wait for the food was lengthy.

Grand Opening... What? They don't have slot of what is listed on this new menu, BTW.

This only gets two stars because the actually food came, warm. Now let's get into why it didn't get 5 stars... So, I was attracted to a new menu that was placed in my lobby, listing all sorts of things that just aren't offered at Chinese food joints in Harlem. Things that I go to China town or Chelsea to get. Fare like "lobster with ginger and scallion" or "grand Marnier shrimp " and featuring real Crabmeat... When I checked the address, I was like, "oh snap! I remember this joint" . It's like this hole in the wall Chinese food spot with steamy, filthy windows that manages to get an a from the department of health and a n ignore from me. I was glad to see gentrification cleaned it up, so I decided to take a chance. When I called, the person taking my order informed me , " we dont have that " and when I countered that it was on their menu, he corrected himself and said, " we don't have that yet". Then, when I asked when they would actually offer the items on their menu, he said, "I don't know". At this point, I decided to stop wearing myself out with this pointless customer service and false advertising dilemma and order some regular stuff. It was delivered In 20 minutes, luke warm. After hearing it, I realized that artificial crab was mixed into my shrimp with lobster sauce and my partner thought the chicken fried rice and sweet and sour chicken was soggy and generally gross.i wasn't even asked what soda I wanted with my 25 + purchase. They tried to wear me out with the mediocre customer service nonsense, luckily I went to sleep after having a bite of the food. You can do better, for less, almost anywhere else. And their is plenty within a 5 block radius. There must be a high demand for Chinese food, for this business to be able to maintain, when the availability of other places is so high. Never again.

Vegetable Lo Mein. This is the small (pint) size, but they give you large portions! Mostly noodles, very few veggies.

Lady who answers the phone and works in the front is ALWAYS polite and courteous. Had the veggie fried rice and compared it to the same at the restaurant directly across the street. The one across the street TASTES fried/greasy. Also this place served HUGE portions. I've had better, but it was not bad at all. They don't put any salt in their fried rice - they allow you to do that yourself. Decent variety - same as other Chinese restaurants. Free delivery with a minimum of $7 order. Currently "A" rating sign posted in their window, despite how dark it is in there. Lunch special is $5.95 Monday-Saturday from 11-3pm. Decent delivery time. Will continue to order from this place when I want Chinese food.

Totally good Chinese. Friendly service. Had the hot and spicy chicken. Will go back when I need quick easy takeout.

Good Roast Port LoMain. The pan fried dumplings have a lo of flavor. The egg rolls perfectly fried; crispy and not oily.

Got off the E train and when we looked for Chinese food, this place popped up with good reviews and it was just a short walk from where we got off the train. My buddies ordered the special lunches and we also got two types of xlb's, beef chow fun, and some fried dumplings. The special lunches come with a little fried rice, cold garlic flavored noodle, choice of egg drop or hot and sour soup, and main side. My buddies all enjoyed their meals. The beef chow fun was also really good and beef was nice and tender. The xiao long baos were excellent and is comparable to any place in California like DTF. Nice and juicy and great with some ginger, soy sauce, and spicy chili. Friendly service and food comes out pretty quickly. Credit card is accepted. Bathroom was also very clean, which is sometimes rare in some Chinese restaurants I have been to. If you're looking for a good Chinese meal, stop here when you're in the Chelsea area.

I hadn't been to EDH in a while and was happy to see they do have later hours (with a smaller late night menu). The place was pretty busy at 10:00 PM last Saturday, with a wide range of diners, which is good for business. The food though, at least that night, was really disappointing. My friend had the chicken dumplings. He said they were okay. I thought they were overcooked. My steamed shrimp shumai were fine, but steamed, they didn't have much flavour. The edamame, on the other hand, had way too much when it should have almost none. I don't know if it was excess salt, MSG or something else, but not good. I should have sent them back. I hope this was just an off night for the kitchen.

I'm a lower middle-class Jersey guy - what the heck do I know about cocktails?  But I dove right into one ("Jade Collins") and it was firing on all cylinders.  Crisp, clean, strong enough to knock over an ox. Then we got a handful of apps - everyone else swore by all the ones they'd had - but I just tried the Salt & Pepper Shrimp and... sweet baby Jesus, this little plate had a wicked amount of flavor from every angle.  "Aggressively seasoned" might be an understatement.  Wild. Onto the mains and I ventured towards their Spicy Drunken Noodle (my go-to whenever I'm hitting a Thai restaurant on my home turf) and... yeah, you probably guessed it - incredible. Not the biggest portion but they made every single component sing with flavor. With so much going on - of course I needed to indulge with another drink (hey, I wasn't driving!). There were six of us, it came to about $100 a person... welcome to NYC. But we did get a wide selection of plates/food and those two drinks accounted for about $40 of my tab. (And you'll never see such a heavy wine pour at a restaurant... they filled the glass almost to the rim - which was not even something I'd do for myself when I'm home.) Definitely recommended.

Then the scallion pancakes which were crispy and airy paired with this very interesting sauce that was clear but tasted like sweet and sour sauce. For mains we got Kung Pao Chicken which was pretty delicious but my star of the show was the Crispy Beef. It was crispy asf and skinny too I didn't know you could make beef skinny like that. Sauce was super tasty and thick. On the side was broccoli which was fine and eggplant which was fine on its own and good with the chili sauce. Split the Fortune Cookie Red Velvet Cake which okay I thought there would be more creativity with adding fortune cookies somewhere in the cake but it was just a cake with fortune cookies on top. Also they put 2 when we had 4 people like lowkey they couldve just put 2 more on there but anyways the cake itself was pretty tasty so can't complain there.

The hand-pulled noodles *gasp* weren't hand pulled. "BBQ" chicken in the other noodles was very dry. Sea bass portion was very small. Scallion pancakes were good. Shrimp dumplings were the highlight.
