I have ordered here before and had no issue. I work at Amazon so it is conveniently close. The lady completely botched my order after I explained it over the phone 4 times and in person twice. Received my food, no issue. Today I decided to heat up my leftover food. This food has stayed in the styrofoam container that they placed it in upon pickup. Put the food in a bowl to put into the microwave. As I started chewing I realized I wasn't chewing on actual food. As I take the piece out of my mouth I was disgusted to find a large piece of plastic cooked in with my chicken. NEVER. AGAIN! read more

This is the best Chinese food I've ever had especially the orange chicken. They're really fast too.

We are new to the area and had a need for Chinese food that would be fast. We ducked into the China Wok and there were so many choices! The lunch specials come with a drink, fried or white rice, and a huge portion of the main dish. You have to buy the egg rolls, which were made at the International House of Egg Rolls and that's why they all taste exactly the same. We always share items which is one way to keep an eye on calories so we decided on General Tso's chicken, mild. What a treat! The sauce was sensational and they do not scrimp on the size of your meal. Plenty of rice and tons of chicken! It was one of the best General Tso's we've ever had. We purchased the Egg Rolls and they were nice and hot. We were so happy that a Lunch Special had so much food! So much delicious food! We will definitely be back! This place was in the same mall near Big Lots. Had two lunch specials. I got the Kung Pow Chicken and hubs got the steak and peppers with broccoli. We got it to go. When we got home the go boxes were stuffed with a generous portion all for 7.95! We enjoyed our meal and it was served fresh and piping hot. We are staying in Ruskin, visiting and nice to find great places to go and dine...we will be back again ;) read more

Fantastic fresh vegetables! I have never been to a Chinese food restaurant that serves such fresh veggies like the china wok does. Please don't loose this quality. This location is 5min down the road for us so some nights it's perfect. Located off college and I-75 in ruskin. The staff is super friendly and prompt. The food is good especially the vegetables. The menu is a bit long but when you go enough you go right to what you want;) I would have fived this review but they lacked sweetness in the lemon chicken sauce and orange chicken as well. The rice is always perfect and the crab Rangoon is excellent. I love hot mustard but you have to ask for the one they make or else you get the week packaged stuff. Based in my other visits around us this place is one of two we would make trips to eat at. Obviously not fancy inside but don't expect it to be just expect great people and good food! read more

The best Chinese in the area! Hands down. Anything you get from here. The soups are filled with flavor. I enjoy the general taos combination. My family enjoys the chicken and broccoli. The steamed vegetables with shrimp has a great dipping sauce -- great alternative to those low calorie days. You also can't go wrong with the original egg roll or try the shrimp rolls. Pleasant surprise tucked in a partially deserted shopping mall. We ordered fried dumplings, bourbon chicken and seafood with panfried noodles. It was ready in 10 minutes. The portions were big and the ingredients were fresh - especially the shrimp. The dumplings were home made and were flavorful. The bourbon chicken had a unique flavor. Service by the first counter person was excellent. Service by the second person at the counter - possibly the owner- was less than attentive. Overall we had a positive experience. read more

Just another China box restaurant . The lady at the cash register was more worried about talking to someone in the back than just taking my dang order. The place looked abandoned if the lights weren't on I would not have stopped . I'm kind of picky about when I hand someone money I would like them to hand it back to me and not just bump it on the counter. The staff was so nice it pains me to give only 3 stars but the fact of the matter is the food just didn't do it for me. I ordered the sesame chicken combo which came with pork fried rice & egg roll. I felt the rice was kinda bland & I was searching for the pork. The chicken wasn't bad, it had decent texture but again not very flavorful. The sesame shrimp is delicious. This is better than average chinese food that becomes five-stars simply because it is located in Ruskin (not exactly a culinary haven). If you want take-out chinese food in the area, then consider no other location. I have tried all of the competition and most fall short on nearly every comparable item. Good N tasty! Workers r nice. I always see the workers rushing to get food served quickly! Cons: they do not do home deliveries and the place really need some organization in the kitchen area because that makes it look like it's a dirty place.
