    Pork & Crab Soup Dumplings

Upon walking in we fell in love with this place, the establishment is very clean, new, and vibrant. Absolutely beautifully designed. We opted for a variety of foods to try. The staff is very fast and attentive when attending us. Edamame to start was delicious hard to describe the taste & spices but worth a try. The angus marbled beef ramen was phenomenal, terrific broth and noodles. The shumai was prepared in a manner we've never had before and was amazing, that is a MUST try! We also got the pork soup dumplings and the pork and crab soup dumplings as well. Both were delicious with the ginger and vinegar. Spring rolls were also incredible (vegetarian option) and flavorful. Overall we will 100% be coming back here. Great stuff keep it up glad to see this in the area!

This is the third soup dumplings place in Tampa Bay Area that I have visited. The restaurant has good menu of choice. Price is reasonable. The only thing I have them to improve on is the skin of the dumplings May need to be thinner. Other than that, they are good soup dumplings place. We got the crab pork soup dumplings. This is good dumplings to have. The skin is a bit thicker. We also got the pan fried pork and shrimp dumplings. I like this dish. We also got a hand slice noodle. I recommend this noodle dish. It has good soup base. The service of the restaurant is attentive. Seem like they are engaged.

My husband took one before I took the picture.

Our favorite Chinese place in all of Tampa bay. We recently went to the Orlando location, because Chris W has been trying to convince us for a year. We found out that they just opened a Brandon location, which is extremely lucky for us because it is closer than the Orlando one. It still is 40 minutes from us, but we decided to make the trip because we were so in love with the Orlando location. We came at 11:50 AM on a Sunday and we were one of two tables. I'm so glad by the time we left there were more people here, because I want this place to last! The location of Orlando often has a wait, but it doesn't seem like you have to worry about that here. We ordered scallion pancakes, scallion pancakes with beef, chicken dumplings, Chicken soup dumplings, stirfry ramen with beef, chocolate soup dumplings and cucumbers. I got the chocolate dumplings because they were out when we were in Orlando. I didn't realize they are a dessert. I ended up eating all six myself. I probably wouldn't get it again because I'm not a sweets person, but wow, are they addicting if you are. I mean the fact that I ate all six speaks for itself. It also came with a cream that is absolutely delicious and puts it over the top. My kids really like the beef stirfry Ramen, and scallion pancakes. They didn't like the scallion pancakes with beef so I wouldn't get that one again even though my husband and I love it. My favorite dish was the cucumber! It had a really good umami taste. We got the chicken dumplings for my son who ended up not eating it, so next time I skip that. I was really surprised both kids loved the stir fry ramen, my son loved the beef and the other one with the noodles so that's a must get for us. My husband likes the soup dumplings so we have to get that. Parking is really easy because they have a lot. Decor is modern. I really hope that they do well, because this place is an absolute gem. Service was prompt and friendly. We didn't wait long for the food.

Great! I recommend this place for their soup dumplings. Soft opening today 03/18/2026. We were greeted at the door and instructed to order and pay before being seated. Water, utensils, napkins, ginger, chili oil, and Togo containers are all in one self serve station. The dining space isn't huge, so when they get busy, be prepared to wait. The seating was comfy and I liked the flashy red accents and mirror clad ceiling. The FOH staff were very nice and attentive. They made sure everything we ordered came out, and checked it off the receipt as the dishes were presented. Now the food! Pork xlb were fresh and filled with savory soup and meat. Eat them fresh before they start to stick and leak out all that juicy flavor! Chocolate baos were a nice treat foe the kiss. Red bean puffs were really good with a crispy outside, sprinkled with sesame seeds, and filled with red bean (not too sweet). The stir fried chicken with noodles were pretty good! I typically order a non xlb option just in case, and this was really tasty with a good balance of noodles, chicken, onion, bokchoy, and bean sprout. (I may have missed something) Cucumbers salad was good and they have a generous portion to share. I ended up spicing mine up with some chili oil and vinegar. Overall, I was happy with my meal. Not the same menu or sit and order style as the Orlando restaurant, but I'm okay with that.

This was the first time my husband & I came here. We absolutely loved everything that we ordered. Our waiter was super nice. The decor & ambiance was nice (casual but classy). We ordered Scallion pancake w/ braised beef, pork xiao long Bao (soup dumplings), steamed pork dumplings, pan-fried pork dumplings, Shanghai pan-fried pork buns, and Knife-cut noodle soup w/ angus marinated beef in chili oil. All of the dumplings were actually soup dumplings. I loved the small amount of soup inside them! They will splatter everywhere if you bite into them quickly. I always take a tiny nible to release the air inside. I use chopsticks to hold them up, but I have the spoon underneath to catch the soup if any flows out. Our favorite dishes were the pork Xiao Long Bao and Knife-cut noodle soup w/ angus marinated beef in chili oil. Scallion pancakes w/ braised beef were my 3rd favorite. The Knife-cut noodles w/ angus marinated beef in chili oil also had bok choy & scallions in it, and you can really tell the difference w/ the fresh homemade noodles! We will definitely come back! Next time, I want to try the stir-fried hand-pulled ramen, chicken dumplings & shrimp dumplings.

Food was delicious and taste just like the Orlando location. Nice ambiance and good service too. Highly recommend the spicy beef noodle soup, Shanghai pan fried buns and soup Wonton (taste just like the ones in Shanghai)

What a vibe! Such lovely people that work there and INCREDIBLE food. The Duck buns are perfection- fluffy, crispy, juicy. The Pork Soup Dumplings had the perfect chew, rich flavorful broth! The dipping sauce and chili oil are a perfect compliment. The passion fruit slush was so refreshing and the perfect amount of sweet. The decor is somehow upscale and comfortably casual, bringing a fun artistic energy. Great spot!

Excellent service, great food, and I especially enjoyed the 20% off $50 or more for showing my BTS concert ticket strictly for this weekend because of the BTS show in Tampa. A superb first experience. Will definitely come back to enjoy the food with my family.

This newly open dumpling restaurant at Brandon offers delicious fresh hand made dumpling, Xiao long bao , knife cut noodle and dim sum dishes. First of all, a super cute dumplings statue at the front door greeted us upon our arrival. The service was attentive. Soon after we sat down, the julian fresh ginger and drinks arrived at our table. We got A1 Pork Xiao long bao. They were five stars in my book, so delicious. The size was huge and meat and soupy inside were so tasty. One may say the skin is too thick, but I don't mind. It hold the filling secure. The flavor of the whole bao was quite good. The pan fried shrimp and pork dumpling were also very good. Again, big size with solid flavor of filling. Pan fried till the bottom golden. The texture was perfect. We also had the House special knife cut noodle soup. I really like the knife cut noodle. The texture was good and unique. The broth was a bit too salty for me. The only drawback was the paper-thin beef slice, couple shrimps and one boiled egg, not enough protein for the price. The decoration inside is very red color. The sitting area was clean and comfortable. Customers order at the counter, pay and they bring the food to the table. I'm glad that Tampa has another solid good handmade Xiao long bao and dumpling joint.

    Peking Duck Pan Fried Buns

The food here is sooo good. So glad there is finally a Kung Fu Kitchen in the Tampa area. The dining room seems a little bigger than the one in Orlando. I ordered the pork soup dumplings, pork and shrimp wonton soup, and Peking duck buns and they were all sooo good. Best to arrive hungry and try a lot of the dishes, they're all good tou can't go wrong. The service was very fast, and the staff very polite and attentive. The atmosphere is very nice and relaxing. Comfortable seating, and very clean. Can't wait to come back !

I visited before a Rays game and was immediately impressed by both the service and the food. The staff was attentive without hovering, the pacing was excellent, and the entire experience felt polished and intentional. I ordered the Bibimbap with bulgogi steak, tofu, fried egg, kimchi, vegetables, gochujang, and crispy rice, along with two spring rolls. What stood out most was the balance. The dish delivered heat, sweetness, savory depth, texture, and freshness without relying on heavy sauces or excessive portions. Every ingredient maintained its own identity while contributing to the overall flavor of the dish. Too many restaurants create flavor by drowning food in sauce. Hawkers does it through seasoning, spices, and technique. There was no puddle of sauce at the bottom of the bowl, no overly sweet glaze, and no greasy heaviness. The rice absorbed flavor without becoming soggy, and the kimchi, vegetables, egg, tofu, and bulgogi worked together beautifully. The spring rolls were equally impressive. Light, crisp, delicate, and perfectly executed, with a thin wrapper and just the right amount of crunch. What impressed me most was that I left satisfied, not stuffed. The portions were thoughtful, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the flavors were layered rather than overwhelming. Since moving to Florida, this ranks as one of the best restaurant meals I have had. Highly recommended.

The…read moremenu spans dim sum, Chinese, and Vietnamese dishes, so you can build a meal that hits every craving in one sitting -- which is exactly what we did last night. We started with dim sum: taro dumplings (three pieces) and shark fin dumplings (four pieces) -- despite the name, there's no shark fin involved, it's just named for the shape, which resembles a shark fin. Filling-wise it tasted like a shu mai with pork and shrimp, just sealed closed rather than open-topped. Their house-made hot chili sauce was a standout -- just the right amount of heat without overpowering the dumplings. For entrées, I went with the Com Thit Nuong (Vietnamese grilled pork chop with egg), and my wife had the Banh Xeo (Vietnamese pork and shrimp crepe). We also ordered the salt and pepper calamari, which stole the show for me -- the batter was light and perfectly seasoned, fried up crunchy, and tossed with garlic and hot chilies. Hands down my favorite dish of the night. They also do a Mandarin-style pork chop that reminds me of the Peking-style pork chops you'd find in Chinatown, NYC -- a nice touch for anyone missing that flavor down here in Florida. Between the variety, the quality, and the consistency, Ha Long Bay remains a go-to for us. Highly recommend going in with a group so you can sample across all three cuisines.

Menu has a large selection and they came by with their dim sum cart and offered us some selections. Their pork dumpling and beef bun was good. Pho: 3/5, spices were too fragrant and almost all I could taste from the soup. Bun Bo Hue: 4/5, a bit too sweet for my liking but still good! Beef fried rice: 5/5, star of the show! So good and cooked very well. Sichuan beef: 2/5, thought it was gonna be more Chinese infused but it was just stir fry. Garlic pork chops: 2/5, heard great things but this was okay and too sweet. Almost tasted like ice-cream. Overall, food was good and I wouldn't mind coming back.
