I had French toast (just the regular but the cinnamon roll French toast looked really tempting). It was just slightly crispy around the edges and I love that. So often I will get French toast that's a little too mushy. This was great. I also had a side of bacon. Also crispy! I was pretty stuffed but I did also take a bite of my hash brown. It was delicious too and if I had more space I would have eaten it all. The coffee was great diner/cafe coffee. And if you enjoy that type, you'll know exactly what I mean. I drank it black and they also gave me a cup to go! We did have to wait a couple minutes for a table but not long at all. They turn over tables pretty quickly! Our server was wonderful and really on the ball. Our food came out pretty quickly too, in spite of them being quite busy. It was a little loud in there but not so much we couldn't hear each other. I do like that they have counter seating as an option! We needed a table this round to spread out coloring materials lol. But the counter looks like a nice place to sit too. My children have loved trying some of their specialty griddle plates like Churro Waffles and Strawberry Cheesecake French Toast.) Definitely a fun little cafe to visit for breakfast!

He asked me where I had been and I named the places and he said, in essence, "do you expect to find authentic Italian food at Olive Garden". I had to say NO ( I mean it is not really bad but it is NOT authentic). He then suggested JAX Spice with the proviso that he was NOT related ot anyone there and gets no perks for recommendations, but that it is where he goes when his wife does not cook (and for the record she teached Indian cooking) Well I went and it was the best Indian food I have had since I ate Indian in London (about as good and authentic as you can get unless you actually go to India). Their prices look high at first but then the portions arrive. A couple can EASILY share n entree and even have some to take home. The Tikka Masala and Butter chicken are both DELICIOUS and here is the surprising part for me. I am a dyed in the wool carnivore and even I like (and will order) the vegetarian dishes. Their veggie Korma is super and their Gobi Manchurian is binge worthy. I cannot stop ordering it! The ambiance is laid back and service is super (at least at the one off CR 210 that I go to). I cannot say enough good about it and I get cravings about twice a month and have to go there. It is a bit more upscale than many of the Jax establishments, but still laid back enough that you feel comfortable with a big family.
