The quality of food is very good. You have to tell them not to fry your teriyaki. Chicken or the chicken that they have because they don't fry it too hard. But they have these crabegg. Rolls that are just to die for the service is good, but the best thing is that they have a drive through. The People that take the order need to listen better but you give them good instructions and I'm sure you will be satisfied. You get a lot of Bang for the buck. The ambiance is great. Eh. Ok Chinese food. Not super authentic or anything. But it was a good pit stop for us to grab a late night bite on Christmas I gave them 4 stars but really 3.5. 4 is due to the fact that they were friendly, clean and open on Christmas. Food was ok. Pretty standard Chinese food except they claim to not use MSG and I believe them because I didn't get a stomachache after I ate the food. So , to me, it was better than good Chinese food. I grew up in CA. where we ate Egg Foo Young at least twice a month. Not everyone can make it. China Wok has perfected it. All the food is fresh and cooked to order. The Crab Rangoon, Lo Mein and Shrimp with Lobster Sauce are also very good. The guy that takes the orders is very nice and everyone there is very accommodating. We just moved to Savannah and this is one of our favorite spots now. Take out only. The place is clean and their are tables and chairs where you can wait for your food. 2 Thumbs Up!!! read more

I've eaten here a few times. I typically order the same thing, sesame chicken with chicken fried rice. I decided to try something new, Mongolian beef. For once, I was disappointed. The food was fresh and hot. However, it was not flavorful, just spicy and only contained a few pieces of beef. Ultimately, I paid $13 for a plate of stir fried vegetables covered in spicy brown sauce. While I would eat here again, I would not recommend the Mongolian beef. read more

My all-time favorite grab and go chinese take-out. To say I eat here a lot is an understatement. My favorite meal would be the sesame chicken with a side of the purple buns! They are so fun. Also this place gives you heaping piles of food. I am a big eater, but if I reasonably portion out one meal I can make it last for three! My only complaint is they are so good they are always busy. Sometimes I can't even call my order in because the phone won't even ring. I guess that means they are good right? Also completely felt safe covid-wise in this restaurant! 4.5 stars easy. Definitely had become my go to for take out in Savannah. They are so reliable, clean, always open and they are so friendly and nice here. I love their moo shoo, Singapore noodles, teriyaki chicken, lemon pepper wings, chicken and broccoli and shrimp with garlic sauce. Their mei fun and fried shrimp are also divine. Everything is always made fresh to order but still doesn't take long. Best Chinese take out in Savannah by far. I recommend ordering take out, this is not really a eat in place. They also have taken great precautions since covid hit which I appreciate. Always wearing masks and gloves, took their tables out, have shields to divide the kitchen and takeout area. So far this has been the best take out chinese I've found in the area, maybe even Savannah as a whole! Came through one night and picked up the Beef and Pepper stir fry with a side of low mein noodles, egg drop soup and 2 egg roles and holy crap it was way more than I thought! I'm glad there was two of us eating it but we still were barley to finish it all. Not a bad quick dinner trip and all that for only about $20. Super satisfied. What happened to this place? Used to be good quality Chinese food. Pretty sure my generals tso chicken was frozen Tyson popcorn chicken smothered in ketchup. The shrimp side of the dragon and Phoenix was canned peas and carrots with chopped up onions and three shrimp. And the pork fried rice that they upcharged me for had no pork in it and was nothing more than rice with soy sauce dumped into it. Is this place under new management or something? My roommate is obsessed with Chinese take out so when she saw China Wok had 4.5 stars (pretty darn unusual for Chinese take out places), I knew we'd have to go. It was quite the feat since China Wok is about a half hour drive from our place, but luckily I happened to be only a few miles from it today! Their lunch specials are only $5.99 and enough for two meals! I ordered my usual...chicken and broccoli with fried rice. I was pleasantly surprised by their fried rice. Everyone knows there's a difference between getting fried rice at a sit down Chinese restaurant versus from a take out. The chicken and broccoli is sooo good!! They definitely overdid it on the sauce (some of the chicken pieces were swimming) but still yummy! read more

Lemon chicken Sweet & Sour chicken Kung Pao chicken Chicken with garlic sauce Sesame beef House Special Lo Mein (which includes shrimp, chicken and beef) Steamed dumplings Crab rangoon My favorite dishes were the Kung Pao and garlic chicken, although both had a lot of veggies and I usually prefer all meat dishes, like the sesame beef. My least favorite was the lemon chicken, however one member of my party said this was her favorite. Oh, and did you think I had all that food for myself? The food was tasty from the first to the last bite, and everyone was commenting on how enjoyable their plate came out to be. I also really enjoyed the lo mein. Finding good comfort food style Chinese food in Savannah is just like trying to find a needle in a haystack. I had just about given up. Then I found China Wok...thank goodness. Ok it's not the best ever but it's good, and it looks and tastes fresh. The interior is clean but very basic. They use the classic container sizing...which means you can get a pint or quart of many of their items. Love that. My fav is their veggie fried rice...this visit I ordered it spicy. Soooo yum. They really should move to a more visible location, they deserve to be in a more visible location. A better location with a larger/classier seating area, this place would be on the map. read more

I guess this place gets the job done if you need Chinese takeout in a pinch. It might be the best Chinese takeout in the area, but it definitely is not something to write home about. I got the Kung Po Chicken, Beef with Vegetables , Shrimp Egg Foo Young , Egg rolls and Crab wontons. The plus sides of this place is the staff is helpful and ordering is efficient. The food however leaves something to be desired. Overall it's pretty bland. Even the "spicy" Kung Po Chicken was pretty flavorless. The one flavor that did stand out in the fried items was the unfortunate taste of old oil. They definitely are not changing their oil out at often as they should. They are also pretty skimpy on the proteins. We found a total of two shrimp in our egg foo young and the beef with broccoli was mostly vegetables. Over all for the price and customer service it was A-ok but not something I will probably seek out again. read more

This is the only take out Chinese food we will eat. The food is excellent, prices are great. Place is clean. Owner is very accommodating with special orders. The portion sizes are insane!
