    Sesame Tofu
    Yasmin H.

Why ? 1) Good Customer Service: lady who took my order over the phone was friendly and pleasant 2) Pick up time is usually reasonable Food: This doesn't happen often, maybe there was a new cook or we got the left overs. However, we have order from here before and we are usually happy with our order. However, we been disappointed with the quality of the food lately. We usually order the General Tso Chicken & Sesame Chicken (sometimes Tofu). You can tell that the food was not fresh at all. The "chicken" was extremely hard and it seemed like there was more breading/batter than chicken, if there was any chicken at all. All the pieces were stuck together and hard. Same problem with the Tofu Sesame the tofu was also overly fried and chewy. Definitely not fresh this time. Not happy with the quality of the food this time. There needs to be more consistency on quality and freshness. It was lacking this time.

    Mu shu pork

We had such a taste for Chinese food and knew China Wok would be fast and hot. The hubby got his favorite - General Tao's Chicken. In general the us isn't my favorite dish at any Chinese restaurant but he liked the flavor, wishing there was more meat in it. The mu shu pork was hot and plentiful - the highlight of the meal. The thin pancake was ok but I like it over rice better. We also got a serving of the dumplings. I forgot that Chinese dumplings have a much thicker wrap, expecting a Japanese gyoza . The flavor and texture were disappointing and the only things that brought this rating down to a 3. We'll be back again soon as there aren't many Chinese restaurants around this area.

Sweet and Sour Chicken Combo with fried rice and an egg roll (sauce comes on the side to go)

We love China Wok. It typically takes about 15 minutes from the time we order it until it is done. My daughters love the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice combo. It also comes with an egg roll. My husband is a die hard General Tso Chicken fan. He also gets the combo with fried rice and an egg roll. Another must is the Crab Rangoon. Many times they are very busy and trying to do it all so just keep that in mind while they are multi tasking. We always have quick reliable service and the food is consistent.

Mei fun, sweet and sour dinner special, dumplings. The steamed dumplings are the best!

We've been ordering from here for years. They are fast, cheap, and tasty... The house special soup if filling and is my go to when I am sick. The dumplings are huge and seem to be made on site? They are not your rinky dinky freezer dumplings. I'm trying to order different things from the menu. The Mei Fun was a good thin noodle stir fry. Good for a few meals.

This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants ever! They have THE best crab Rangoon! Every time I have crab Rangoon from anywhere else I regret it every time because i already know how good they are at china wok hahaha! I also love their Dumplings! All of their food is fresh made, nothing is frozen. Feel free to change up how spicy, crispy, and saucy you want things, they don't mind adjusting the recipe ;) my go to order is pictured: General Tso's Chicken w/ Pork Fried Rice Chicken w/ Mixed Veggies - White Rice Steamed Dumplings (THE SAUCE IS AMAZING) Crab Rangoon I really honestly have never had any better Chinese in the Westfield/ Carmel Area

Judge for yourself,,, I call this 'Nongolian' beef.

A good chinese value. The food isn't steller or taste extremely fresh but I will say that it is a good choice for quick takeout.

I haven't had Chinese in a while so I decided to DoorDash an order of Sesame Beef, a shrimp egg…read moreroll and a mango bubble tea! My order arrived surprisingly quickly and smelled great! I mixed some of the white rice in the sesame beef and scooped up a nice mouthful, the sauce actually has a perfect sweet tang to it but I had the most disappointing moment as I chewed. The meat didn't taste like beef and it didn't taste like chicken, I tried another two pieces and couldn't swallow those down either - it also was very chewy but in a squishy kind of way not a tough beef type of way, I don't know how else to describe but it just did not taste or feel like I was eating beef. I decided to try my mango bubble tea and was equally disappointed, it was very flat and watery. I even tried to eat my egg roll but I could only get half way. I ended up just eating the broccoli and most of the white rice but my appetite was gone by then. I ended up throwing everything away. The reviews seemed pretty positive so I'm actually surprised - I don't think I've ever been disappointed with Chinese food before today.

Lots of takeout bags and a pretty overall typical vibe for a Chinese restaurant. Got egg rolls, beef and sweet and sour chicken. Sweet and sour chicken was not what I was expecting but still tasty. Everything was pretty cheap and we left with leftovers. Had to get our fortune cookies ourselves on the way out where they have set up for takeout orders. All in all good experience

Today, I decided to have an eat-in experience. They have 6 four-top tables along with 1 table that sits 8 guests. There's a TV that usually plays ABC News Live. Tonight is no exception. The cashier stops at the table to check on me and ensure my meal is satisfactory. It's good food at a reasonable price and their restaurant is clean. (I did not visit the restroom.) if you're interested in basic Chinese food--they do have Egg Foo Yung with all the different meats. (EFY is not an option for a Combo meal.) This restaurant is a good option.

The orange chicken was really good - like, I'd order that again without hesitation. They give you plenty! I don't even know how I'm going to eat all the leftovers. I was expecting the small to be... well, small. Anyway. The pepper steak was just okay. It lacked flavor for me. And of course, lots of giant peppers instead of slicing them down...and a crap ton of veggies without much steak. But that's typical. The shrimp fried rice... Tasteless. I don't usually like to add more soy sauce to my food (and I didn't), but you're gonna need to drizzle the sauce from one of the other meals onto it or SOMETHING because homegirl was tasteless. Disappointing. The shrimp and broccoli was fine - exactly what you'd expect. Everything was packaged well, so I'd say attentive service for takeout. Not sure what it looks like on the inside/bathrooms/cleanliness, etc. since we did takeout, but I would go back for the orange chicken unless I find a place with better + solid shrimp fried rice. P.S. Remember when they used to automatically put eggs in the fried rice without you having to pay extra? I miss those days.

Weekdays, they offer a buffet that gave us a chance to try a variety of foods. Most of the options are of Indian origin. We started with Gobi Manchurian (fried cauliflower) which was perfectly spicy and delicious. I had to go back for seconds. The samosas were very flaky and tasty. We tried the chana masala, chicken tikka, paneer tikka, jasmine rice with vegetables, Szechwan chicken, fried baby corn and more. Each dish was delicious with the perfect amount of spice. They give you an option of several breads and we selected the garlic naan. The freshly made breads arrived hot at the table with melty garlic butter. The service was ultra friendly. Beverages and bread come out quickly. Staff members checked on us multiple times. The buffet was a kept clean. Service is five stars For dessert, I had mango mousse and honey balls. What a treat!
