We received subpar service and food at this location twice now. We were very disappointed the quality of the food. We did not take photos, but should have. I ordered a fruit bowl, I received 1 strawberry, 6 blueberries and 4 bite-size pieces of pineapple. From the moment we walked in, it just felt off. No greeting, no smiles, nothing welcoming. I'm not sure if the staff was having a rough day or what, but it was noticeable. Our order was a mess. Several items were said to be unavailable, yet they somehow showed up on our plates anyway. We dealt with cold coffee, cold food, missing condiments, and overcooked chicken. When we spoke with the manager about everything, she seemed completely detached and uninterested. There was no apology or real effort to make things right. To the server's credit, she did smile and check on us toward the end of the meal. The best part of the whole visit was the person who cashed us out. She was warm and funny and actually helped lighten the mood before we left. Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing visit. Breakfast is fabulous here. This was my first time in a Cracker Barrel and I'm in love with it. All three of us enjoyed our breakfasts. Everything was delicious. The coffee was hot with frequent refills. I love the little bottles of Vermont pure maple syrup served up with pancakes and French toast. I think our server was Kim. Everything was perfect. It's nearly a typical Cracker Barrel. The table service is a bit slower than normal, but the environment is the standard faire. They do have RV parking for those of you who are driving through. Finally the manager told me what the delay was, and she said the app can't tell if they're out of something. So, finally after over an hour waiting, I got my to-go order...and was about to be even more disappointed. I think the chicken must be sourced from under the nearest overpass, because it was the size of a pigeon. And my $3 side of greens was in a small container that was only half full. NO! NO! NO! DO NOT VISIT THIS CRACKER BARREL UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! TERRIBLE ON ALL LEVELS! THERE IS NO REDEEMING VALUE WHATSOEVER. Extremely poor management, if in fact there is any management at all. When you think of Cracker Barrel, you expect an assurance of quality. This location makes a mockery of that expectation. It's as if they've given up and thrown in the towel. Embarrassing. After entering the restaurant, my grandchildren and I were seated at a table next to a group who were just leaving. I happened to look over and mentioned to the kids, "Uh oh, someone spilled a bunch of country gravy on their table. Uhhh, Grandpa, that's not gravy. You've got to be kidding me! They seated us right next to a puke glazed table?! We should have left then and there. But we didn't..... While a clean team (3 servers, I hope they washed their hands afterward) were engaged in the mop up, another server was arranging tables for an incoming group of 13. One of those tables being the fouled one. Upon noticing that, we should have left. But we didn't.... Our order was taken at 5:05pm. After our server apologized for bringing me the wrong drink order, she disappeared. And we waited. Meanwhile, the party of 13 were being seated. The same server as ours started to take their drink order. I thought our food had better come out before she took their food order. It didn't. And we waited. It took forever for her to make the round of the 13. Surely our order would come out now. It didn't. At that point, we should have left. But we didn't.... Food for other tables was being delivered, and still we wait. Finally, I pulled my wad out of my pocket to throw a few bills on the table so we could make tracks. But to our amazement, two of our orders showed up. The other two will surely not be far behind. They weren't. So we waited. It was now 6:25pm. We should have left. But we didn't...... The server was avoiding us until she couldn't bear it any longer. She came to our table and said, "you know, there's too many kids working here and there's a back up in the kitchen", "you should probably just leave" "don't pay". "Don't leave a bad review or anything." I showed her that I was well into this one. As we were walking out, I told the line, waiting to get seated that they should not go in. They looked dumbfounded. Why, they asked. I gave a quick explanation. A couple of folks took my advice and followed me out. The others who didn't deserve their fate. As for the group of 13? It's now 8:42pm. Do you think that they were as patient (as foolish) as we were? You'll be tempted to try this Cracker Barrel cause it's the only sit-down restaurant in the vicinity of the local hotels. But I'm warning you, do so at your own peril. Quick Tip: The parking is the only good thing about this Cracker Barrel location. Grab some fast food, stay in your car, and enjoy the lot. If you have to puke, just open the door. Then, move to a different space. I am not pleased. Because of this poorly managed Cracker Barrel location, I won't be visiting another. read more

I ordered food for pickup using the online app. Ordered the burger without any toppings and spent extra for a side salad, ketchup, and extra dressing. I received a burger with everything, and that's it. Either the app don't work correctly or the kitchen help needs to learn to read. AMAZING is what I would use to describe my lunch experience at this restaurant. I was with a group of five, in area visiting with family, and this restaurant came highly recommended. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the environment, calm, and the restroom exceptionally clean. The food tasted incredibly fresh and delicious. We have ordered take out (for 2-3 people, not ordering for an army) several times for this location and each time have had a bad experience. The wait time says 30-35 mins, but then it takes well over an hour if not two. The food is not fresh when we get it and something is always missing/left out of our order. The last two times, it has been almost dead, not busy at all, so they are not overwhelmed - it seems to be poorly managed. read more

My first experience with "breakfast" at a Cracker Barrel...and first time eating at this location...its just over the 40 bridge in Arkansas . Quite frankly I am not sure why it only has 2 stars? Its Saturday morning, during holiday season, during a pandemic, and my experience was excellent. Surprisingly the wait was short..I had to store my treasures to pay for them later ( great little gift shop) because they called me so quickly. Party of one. Lottie is my server...smiling, upbeat, and she made great recommendations also has a hustle...meaning, fast on her feet! Masks are a must here...and as i sit here and peoplewatch, it is clear they clean and spray i see what I assume is sanitizer after each table clears. My breakfast was excellent, (sunrise sampler) - choose the sweet ham overcountry, hot coffee refills were always circulating, while i obviously couldnt see smiles...I felt them... Fresh biscuits, gravy, grits, hashbrown casserole, 3 proteins, and oh my goodness..."fried apples" for less than $10.00. Thankyou CrackerBarrel team for starting my day off on the right foot! Not the typical cracker barrel, staff isn't all that friendly. We ordered lunch, and the waiter brought out the biscuits and corn muffins he didn't give us side plates or napkins. The muffins and biscuits were greasy and a bit hard. The wife ordered the bee sting chicken sandwich and got the meal, I ordered the meatloaf, it was a bit dry and with no gravy, I would have asked for some but we never saw our waiter until he dropped the check off. Well that was a bad idea I usually can always count on Cracker Barrel to be good quality, but this location is the Pitts! Let's start with the table being dirty and we had to stand at the table till the hostess went to get a towel to clean the table. Then the server Louise S never introduced herself she just walked up and said are you ready to order? I asked for a round of water she replied are you ready to order? The silverware was soiled so I got extra napkins cleaned them ourselves. Ordered Louise got lost and another server bought our food but there were no biscuits, no jam, no butter, no hash browns the eggs were not prepared as requested. The grits were scoured and lumpy. I was going to let it go but there were too many things not right besides the fact that our server didn't return till another server told her we needed the missing items. She didn't seem pleased with her job as server. The food came out one thing at a time by the time I finally got my biscuits there was as no jam or butter I was done. Louise did return to plop the ticket down without asking if we needed anything else. Louise overheard me say to my husband she didn't ask if we needed anything, she immediately turned around and said "are you talking about me?" I said yes I am. She then said I thought if you wanted something you would have told me! She then said what did you need? I said the butter the Jam I ask for, not the gravy I didn't ask for, but you gave it me. Bottom line she was confrontational and that is never a good look for the company. My husband said let's just go we never have to come back here, which is true but no one should go to this location, not until it's been upgraded to Cracker Barrel standards. As I was paying for my food the cashier asked how was your food and said horrible she immediately got the manager. He was very thoughtful and I hope he will be able to correct the wrongs going on at this location. Ordered takeout online as we were staying at a nearby hotel. Picked up order and returned to the hotel only to find the Mac & Cheese was not in the bag, and there was no "silverware". I purposely ordered the silverware as it is an item that has to be ordered (ridiculous). Fortunately the hotel is only a 5 minute walk from restaurant, but inconvenient to have to return. I explained to the counter person that the Mac and Cheese was missing from the order, to which she replied "Oh, we ran out, that's why". So you still charged me for it, and never told me it was missing when I picked the order up. I explained we were also missing two sets of silverware. She handed me one set, until I had to explain again that we needed two. I asked to speak to a manager. After about 10 minutes, a cook from the kitchen came out to handle the inquiry as they could not find the manager. After explaining the situation again, the cook explained they were not out of Mac & Cheese and went back to the kitchen to bring it out to me. When I asked why his staff told me there was no Mac & Cheese available he looked around for the women who told me this (who left the area after I asked for a manager, and said, "I can't explain why she said that". He took my name, wrote it down on the back of my receipt, and said he would credit me for the missing order. To date it still has not been credited. read more

Always have been one of my favorite places for a meal. They are pretty consistent with their restaurants. Service is always a big influence on the visit. David did a great job with us. Cooks made regular pancakes instead of the Pecan ones that my wife ordered. But we ate alittle of the the regular ones as they made the pecan ones. And it came out fast. Chicken and dumplings! We stayed at the hotel next door & walked over to order takeout....the lady seating people said she'd get someone to take our order & maybe 20 minutes later we had to ask if someone will be taking our to go order....another maybe 10 minutes later we had someone. Our order was two kids meals & that took another 20 minutes. This place was not busy at all & another lady who was a local wanting takeout took just as long & she didn't even get what she ordered.
