I ordered the orange chicken, pepper chicken, chow mein and vegetables instead of rice. The food tasted good but was not good quality. There was not too much meat in the entries and there was a lot of cartilage. The noodles were also soggy and lacked flavor. I may be back since it's only 5 minutes from my office but only if I am very hungry. I went to this place for lunch on a work day and when I got there I realized this was the viral Chinese takeout place I saw on tiktok. Needless to say it definitely lives up to the hype! Service is 12/10! The taller lady was so nice and sweet. There's also a few tables to sit but it is a small space. As for the food, they reallly do PACK IT UP! I was very surprised at how much food they pack in there - it wouldn't even close fully and they had to double bag it! Wanted some Chinese food last night, and this spot popped up on Yelp. I grew up right down the street from this place on 118th St. but had never been here before last night! I went with their Combo B. 2 items, $12.50. I got half rice, half chow mein, beef and broccoli, and orange chicken. The lady putting my food together was very nice and friendly. She HOOKED IT UP, too! This is the type of place that puts so much stuff in it, you cant close the lid. How was the food? Pretty solid. Not the best Chinese I've had, but definitely respectable. Noodles were nice and soft, fried rice had minimal veggies. Beef and broccoli was tasty and the orange chicken was fine (maybe fried in a little older oil....not nasty, but you could taste it a little). The lady helping us out was very friendly and patient. The portions are crazy, and the food was delicious. Most places around lack flavor especially in the noodles but these were on point. The staff is very friendly and very quick which is nice in such a small establishment. Efficiency is key. Now as far as the food, mannnnn lemme tell you. The portions are second to none ! I mean you can barely close the tray by the time they give you the food ! They would make a chipotle employee have a heart attack with how generous their portions are ! Found this place on TikTok and luckily it's only a 5 min drive from my house. The food here is amazing!!! The seasoning on the food was seasoning lol! Don't get me started on the portion size too! I had leftover Chinese food for 3 days!! The chow mein is delicious. The orange chicken is the best I have had in the South Bay! Hands down!!! The fried chicken wings are a must have!!!!! The food is soooo good!! My boyfriend and I flew to LA from Miami and we both craved for Chinese food for lunch. This is it. Large amount of meal for both of us to share in one plate for 13 bucks. To be honest, it's the best price for two people to share. We came back the same day for dinner and still didn't fail us. It's addicting for us. Staffs who work there are quick and nice. I saw there were no wings left in front and asked for an order, and the female employee (who gave me attitude right away) said the last batch of the night will be ready for me soon. But then she took her word back, saying the woman in front of me ordered one order of chicken wings (4 wings), and they'll only have enough for her. I asked, "so you're only making 4 wings?" and she said "yeah, we will only have enough for one order for the woman in front of you." I said "even if I order just two wings?" and she still said "there wouldn't be enough"... So then I just ordered egg rolls instead. But then, I saw the batch of chicken wings come out, enough for 3 orders. Two people behind me ended up getting chicken wings so the female employee lied to me... Passing through the area and saw how many stars this little hole in the wall place had. Well I don't agree that it's 4+ stars. I do think it's pretty decent. I ordered shrimp and lobster sauce and found out it did not come with any type of rice. I then had to pay for a side of rice so I selected fried rice. It had minimal vegetables in it and no flavor. I took the lobster sauce and put it on top of the fried rice and it was delicious. This place is a neighborhood gem with lots of people coming and going while I was there. Simply stated this is not authentic Chinese food. I ordered a shrimp fried rice meal which is the easiest dish to make. The shrimp should be lightly cook with an orange and pink color, this was not the case. The finished look of the fried rice should be slightly yellow due to the cooking oil and Soy sauce in the wok this rice was red colored with a tomato sauce flavor and overall soggy. I couldn't tell if there were eggs in the meal do to the red sauce but at least they had green onions. They also had corn which isn't needed. I'm great full for the amount of food and the wonderful service. I would hope that the owners would take their cooks to an authentic Chinese restaurant and ask the owners if their cook can observe.
