The ladies working up front were very friendly and attentive, the food is delicious! Very flavorful and the meat in the broccoli beef was tender! Im glad I gave this place a try as it exceeded my expectations and will be coming back for more!

I was looking for a place to eat near Sofi before the BTS concert and was lucky enough to stumble across this gem! The portion is VERY generous--my boyfriend and I shared the Combo A platter (chow mein, fried rice, and 1 item). We chose orange chicken and it was delicious! So crispy and flavorful. It was $10 for the huge plate, definitely worth it!

I was in the mood for cheap Chinese no-nonsense food. I have a go-to for this (a few blocks from here, matter of fact) but I felt like trying a new place. Yelp had this place on its list of recos, but there was something about this place that drew me in... ... and it turns out, I have actually been here before. But it has been about 30+yrs since, waaaaayyy before my Yelp years! (SIDE STORY: My GodMom and grandparents used to live a couple of blocks away from here and we often ordered food here back in the day.) They are incredibly popular. All their tables were occupied (granted, there were only three or four) but patrons coming through were non-stop. Staff were efficient as well because given the line (there were three people ahead of me) they got us outta there pretty quickly. I went for half white rice, half noods, black pepper chicken and fried chicken/wings. (NOTE: they packaged the wings separately so it doesn't get soggy from the black pepper sauce - love this!) They were good at providing disposable utensils as well as sauce packets. It didn't take long before I was on my way back to work. Noods had nice flavorful chew. Rice was fluffy. Fried chicken/wings was crispy and savory with a slight hint of sweet. But the black pepper chicken was AM.A.ZING!!! There was so much flavor packed in every bite and couldn't get enough of it! There wasn't a lot of fillers either, so that's a plus. Highly recommending this! FOOD: 5. SERVICE: 4. VALUE: 5. They give you enough for a second meal. PARKING: Lots of space shared with others. Not an issue. OVERALL: 4.5. I couldn't stop thinking about the black pepper chicken that I just had to come back the next day to have it again. Paired it with orange chicken on that second run. Not as great, but it is one of their more popular items. (Most people ahead of me ordered it and the pan got refilled during both visits.) So it was a delight coming through here again as it brought back tons of memories. I even remember making many stops at the laundromat next door. Also drove by my auntie's old house. Ahhhh, good times! I shall return! If only for the delicious black pepper chicken!

I was craving some good Chinese takeout. Found this place on Yelp with all the great reviews. I went with the 2 item combo with orange chicken, salt & pepper chicken, half fried rice and chow mein, and a side of egg rolls. Service was friendly. There's a few small tables to eat there. I got my order to go. The orange chicken was more batter than chicken, and it wasn't crispy by the time I got home. The salt & pepper chicken was dry. The egg roll was okay, had much better. The chow mein and fried rice was average. Well if you're looking for quantity and not quality, this is the place to go.

Came here for the first time yesterday and I'm glad I did!! Food was amaaaazing, and the portions were insane. I couldn't put a big dent in what was given hahaha On top of that, the service was great too. The person who put the plate together and the guy at the register were kind and nice to deal with.

Chinese Kitchen is one of those spots you just have to try. The service was quick and everyone was polite. Juaquin really stood out, he was so nice and pleasant the whole time. Even with a long line he managed to greet every customer and actually have a conversation with people. That kind of service makes a big difference. The food was great and the portions were huge. Easily enough for two people. I ordered Combo B to share with my wife, half fried rice and half chow mein with teriyaki chicken and BBQ pork. We also got the salt and pepper fried chicken on the side. The teriyaki chicken was cooked well with a really good sauce, the BBQ pork had a nice sauce too and plenty of meat. The salt and pepper chicken was the highlight, super crispy and packed with flavor. Even splitting it all between the two of us we still had leftovers. For less than $20 you get more than enough food and it tastes great. I would definitely recommend this place if you want good food and the best bang for your buck.

The food was fresh. The service was good and quick! Egg rolls were delicious. Better drink options would've been nice but overall a good experience.

If you're looking for your typical Chinese spot this is the place for you. Not only do they stuff your plate but it's also really affordable. There can be a line at times but that's expected for everything listed above. The food is good and the staff there have always been really nice and helpful. Highly recommend the orange chicken and chow mein!

I would rather a not so salty dish so I can dose how much spicy sauce I want on it. The food came fairly quickly and I was back with lunch at my hotel in no time. Great service and easy ordering process. I really like the big board with the photos of each dish underlined with price. It makes it easy to choose the meal that you are craving for. The spicy wings were incredibly hot, but not in a good way. Instead of having flavor, they just burned your mouth. The orange chicken was the biggest letdown. It tasted like it had been cooked in old grease, which gave it an unpleasant, stale flavor. The beef with broccoli was just average. It was edible, but nothing that would make us want to order it again. Overall, everyone in our group wasdisappointed with the food. We were hoping for a good meal, but the quality and flavor just weren't there. Based on this visit, we wouldn't be coming back.

Chili oil did save the side soup. The omelette was well balanced in flavor. Cooked to perfection as the egg was very fluffy. Bok Choy is plain boiled. Located on the border of Torrance and Gardena, the restaurant, with its casual décor, is large enough for 60 guests when 2 large round party tables are included. The always-friendly staff brought the menu and water right away. For this visit, we ordered the following dishes (which started arriving within 10 minutes): Roast Duck: As expected, the duck skin was crispy, and the meat was plump, tender and nicely seasoned. Beef Chow Fun: The seasoning was super flavorful, and the glossy, but non-greasy sautéed thick rice noodles had a perfect texture. The beef pieces were tender, and the portion of bean sprouts was just right without overcrowding the dish. Wonton Soup Noodle: The thin noodles were perfectly al dente. The broth was light but flavorful. The wontons had nice thin wraps, and the fillings were well seasoned and with pleasantly firm consistence. We left the restaurant feeling 110% full and satisfied. Highly recommended.

My wife was really looking forward to trying this place. We go to Eat Fantastic for their breakfast…read moreburritos and it had been a while since we had been. To our surprise, we found this "new" place, The Second Wind. The menu looked enticing and the lunch specials really looked like a great deal. So we decided we needed to come back for lunch and soon. A week later, we returned. Parking is very easy in the free lot for the complex. The interior design is energenic, vivrant with amazing looking Asian inspired pop art. Very cool interior. You can be seated and served or order to go. They have a combination lunch special, two items for $15.99. But, many of those items have an up charge if you add a protien. Either way, in these times, $16 for two items is reasonable. Our server greeted us quickly and let us choose the table of our liking. There are a handful of booths and open tables. My wife ordered the Beef Bulgogi and the Eggplant. I ordered the Chicken Dumplings and the Garlic Noodle (adding chicken for $2 more). The portions are generous. Light eaters might be able to just order one two dish combo and share. The Beef Bulgogi was good but the veggies looked a bit dehydrated. The Eggplant was just okay. The Chicken Dumplings were very tasty but served cool. I ordered them steamed and expected them to be warm at least. The Garlic Noodles with chicken was the biggest disappointment. To me, and my wife, over cooked with crunchy pieces. The chicken was also over cooked, dry and tough. When our server asked how things were, I mentioned it. He didn't seem surprised. I asked if the noodles were always dry and he said yes. He offered to bring more sauce, which he did. I added it but it didn't make the chicken any better. In the end, I left 90% of it. They only have cans of sodas so no refills but they are attached to a tea house that serves a great selection of teas, bobo, etc. There was some good things but more not, overall, we were disappointed. Honestly, I was a bit surprised they didn't offer to replace my dish or offer a small discount. They could see the pile of food I left. Anyway... Hopefully your experience and food preparation will be better than ours and...enjoy!!!
