Very reasonable priced ramen and bento box. It is good ramen place for the area, I wouldn't say it's the best ramen but it's good enough if you're in the mood for ramen but don't want to pay too much. Next time, I'll try their curry bowl. Service was fast. Nice spacious dining area.

Food: 4/5 Spicy ramen tasted great plenty of protein and noodles. Very fulfilling portions! Broth had a slight kick, well balanced. Also, lunch came with included egg rolls (2). Service 5/5: Server was nice and attentive. Very quick service. Ambiance 4/5: Nice location, plenty of parking, plenty of seating.

The food was really great and me and my boyfriend shared a meal with a Tonkotsu Shoyu and a Beef Sukiyaki. The service and ambiance was amazing as well! I would highly recommend to come here (:

It seems like a Japanese place, but they were open on a Sunday? Anyhow I was glad they were open. I thought the food was decent and prices were okay. I got the udon stir fry and thought it was strange there was a lot of sauce/soup? At the bottom, maybe it's just udon soup and they strained away the liquid? Soup is just not as appetizing on a hot day. I plan on going again so yup, I like the place so far. Also it was cool to see the tipping screen default to 0 tip!

Everything is pretty good. Especially liked the pork chashu bun and the shrimp tempura. Their ramen is good too. Service is great and the food comes out fast.

Came here on our way to a concert and had a good dinner. Everything that we tried, had good flavor and did not disappoint. The service was great. Our server was very attentive and would come back around and make sure we were ok. The ambiance was nice and clean. Tables are spacious and you don't feel you're too close to other tables. We tried the ramen, the house rice, and some gyoza.

The service is spectacular. We had the Tonkotsu Steak, the steak was well seasoned and tender. The Spicy Tonkotsu and Tonkotsu Miso were just as good. I recommend this spot.

The place is located at the heart of El Segundo and plenty of parking. The cashier named Jackson was very friendly and polite. We ordered food to go (Tonkotsu Miso w/additional seasoned egg topping, - Beef Sukiyaki Bento- Shrimp Tempura Bento -chicken cutlet bento and Yaki beef ramen. I We got all our orders ready in less than 20 minutes. The food was smelled good and delicious!

"Dining here feels like coming home every time. I truly enjoy the food, and the chefs are wonderfully talented. Everyone is welcome to come and experience the delicious flavors and the romantic vibe here."

Gave this spot a try and OMG was I impressed. I got the short ribs bento and it was so good. The wontons perfectly crisped and enough meat. Definitely will be back to try the ramen.

The tonkotsu soup base is not creamy and is bland. The pork is ok. Takoyaki tastes like it was fried with flour covering and a funny taste that I spat it out.

Not really impressed with this place. The broth was thin and had no depth. The karaage chicken was more like popcorn chicken.

However, for a place that specializes in ramen, the noodle soup bowls I've tried so far sit at a 4/5 for my friends and I. The broth is nourishing but a bit thinner than we expect. The shoyu is my go-to. It's a standard offering at a ramen place, and this one is in-line with other eateries - doesn't blow me away, nothing that I can point to that makes it unique and special here, but that is okay. Prices are a touch high for the quality and size. I've had some of their smaller appies like the Musubi and buns - not a must try, but I do typically suggest ordering dishes that aren't as easy to find on a menu (as opposed to edamame, as an example). Appies can range from 3-4/5. The interior is cute, the ambiance is laid back and casual, and you should expect a bit of a wait during peak dining hours. Plenty of free parking on the premises. I've been going to Tomizo since they opened. There were a few months after the initial visit that I…read moredidn't go and I'll explain in a sec, but since then I come probably twice a month now. Ironically speaking, I do not like Sapporo style ramen. I've never been a fan of Miso ramen, and for some reason Sapporo style is just something I do not enjoy. That being said, everyone I know that does like Sapporo style ramen say it is good. But then, why am I giving this place 5 stars and why do I eat here so often? Tomizo added tsukemen to their menu, and they have the best tsukemen in the area. It's a very rich heavy fatty tsukemen, and it blows away everywhere else's tsukemen in the area. The portions are always extremely generous as well. The most important thing is, they use actual tsukemen noodles, they are fat and thick, while a lot of places near here give you ramen noodles for their tsukemen. The other thing I absolutely love about this place is that they have seasonal ramen, and while I'm not a huge fan of some of them, other times they are just amazing. The current seasonal ramen is a cold cream tonkotsu style, and it is absolutely divine. My partner got it last night and it was so good, I wanted to come back tonight to get an order of it myself. I absolutely hope they decide to add it to their main menu permanently, because a cold ramen dish would be a god send to have readily available. The staff are all wonderful, incredibly attentive, and are all very cheerful and upbeat. The music variation changes quite a bit. Sometimes it'll be vocaloid heavy, other times it'll be very late 90s sounds of Tokyo (Fantastic Plastic Machine, Pizzicato Five), or sometimes an early 2000s jpop play list. As someone a little older I don't think there's ever been a time I didn't enjoy the music being played. They also always have dodgers games (reruns during the offseason) playing on a tv for the local fans. The only real bad thing about Tomizo is the parking lot is tiny and shared with a sushi place that can get busy. So parking can be difficult sometimes.

The food was actually quite good. We both had a bowl of the Black Devil ramen at a spice level of 4. I was worried that this would be too much but it was actually a very manageable level of spice. The type of spice where I can still enjoy my food and not have to worry about eating it through hiccups or anything like that. I also had a side of the spicy katsu cutlet, which I also enjoyed very much. They brought me one big piece of chicken katsu and some scissors to cut it up, which I thought was neat.
