Chinese Kitchen is a great restaurant for fast chinese food. The food is hot and looks and taste fresh. They pack your plate with so much food the lid can barely close. The food taste really good. I really like their Orange Chicken, Beef Broccoli, Green Beans with Chicken, Fried Rice and Chicken Egg Rolls. The workers are always friendly and nice. I really enjoy their food. read more

We wanted to stop somewhere not far from LAX & find this place. The ambiance wasn't much to speak of but there were a few people in line for to-go orders and a table had just opened up so we had a feeling it would be worth eating. The people working the counter were quite nice & happy to help, eager to let us try a few items so we could make better decisions and boy was it worth it - we were not disappointed one bit with any part of it. They piled on the food, barely even able to close the containers without deforming the lids. I was able to get 3 massive containers of food, a sweet & sour soup, 2 sodas, & a sweet tea for $50. We were so pleased with our food and impressed at the price, the friendly staff just topped off the whole experience. We will certainly be coming back to the unassuming little place. Pretty good chi Chinese food I would say that it was pretty fresh, good ingredients, not oily or salty. Really good flavor my favorite was their rice and their black pepper chicken. I'm I am an orange chicken snob and there's is really good. It wasn't gummy but it also wasn't tried out crispy sauce. Also the orange chicken chow mein was also good. it was dry, but it wasn't oily. I'm giving three stars bc the first time I came here it was AMAZING. I got there about 35 minutes before closing and there was a super nice young lady and man helping. The portions were HUGE and the food was DELICIOUS. I just moved to the South Bay Area and wanted Chinese. I drove all the way out and it was well worth it. Sadly I went to pick up food for myself and a coworker of mine a week ago during the week around 12:15pm. There was two ladies there and they put a TON of rice and noodles & not that much of the two items I chose. The food did not taste fresh. :c So I'll just come at night to try again. read more

Good food for low prices! Drove 25 mins and it was well worth it. Thank you for not raising your prices high for the people. The portion is big. Two items combo is enough for lunch, dinner and probably breakfast the next day. Or shared with 2-3 people. Service is great and fast. The patron, who had offered $1 to a quarter counting elderly woman, recommended the veggie egg rolls as "very good!" The proud owner confirmed they were hand rolled in house, "stuffed full and a real value at $1." Their Thai tea too is brewed, not from a mix . Both were delicious. Food smelled amazing as soon as you walk in. Line to the door when we got there so you know it's good food. The staff was friendly and even let you sample the foods like the spicy pork or crispy orange chicken (which is to die for). This place is truly a hidden gem in Hawthorne. It doesn't look like much from The outside , however that is quickly forgetten when you step inside . The staff is very friendly and very quick which is nice in such a small establishment. Efficiency is key. Now as far as the food, mannnnn lemme tell you. The portions are second to none ! I mean you can barely close the tray by the time they give you the food ! They would make a chipotle employee have a heart attack with how generous their portions are ! I will say I've never had BBQ pork that had bone In but after talking to my bf, real pork has bones but nonetheless it was good! I just need to get used to it because it wasn't exactly made for my tastebuds but I can see it working for a lot of other people. Everything in this place is perfect. The service was so nice and friendly, and the orange chicken was crispy, sweet, and delicious. The rice was a bit cold, but the chow mein was the real deal.
