Food was great. HOWEVER, the service was completely terrible. We came in to the restaurant completely empty and ordered our food. Another group walked in and were immediately catered to. They sat down AFTER us, ordered AFTER us, received their food BEFORE us, and left BEFORE us. The server ( ASSISANT SA ) provided great service for them, refilled their waters, and then proceeded walk immediately past us with no refills. We did not get our waters refilled the entire time we were there. After this horrible service, we decided to not tip due to our horrible experience. As we paid and received our receipt to tip, the server STOOD OVER US to watch and see if we would tip. We still decided not to tip. She then told us that we HAD to tip, and that if we were ever to come back that we would not be able to sit down at a table without tipping. Unless gratuity is included, TIPPING IS OPTIONAL. The food was OK, my pieces of chicken were so tiny they almost remind me about popcorn chicken size. Some were big and some super tiny. Taste was ok. Got take out last Friday. Food was hot and ready in 15 minutes. General Tso's chicken great! Good flavor and texture. It came with a with a very small side of rice. I'd def get this again. I also got the vegetable lo mein. Vegetables included zucchini, onion and carrot. It was is a little bland, but the noodles were nicely cooked- would pass on this dish. I used to come here a lot when I lived in Bridgeport, liked it so much that I get take out when I'm in the area. Deff some of my favorite Chinese food in the area. I think only Chinatown might have better food around here. They have some really good lunch specials. Cheap and delicious! I always get their Mongolian beef! It's amazing! Their beef broccoli is also top class! Their fried rice is good but nothing out of this world. Their lo Mein noodles are some of the best I've had! Their won Ton soup and potstickers are really good! I'd say the only thing that didn't wow me from here is their ramen soup and their orange chicken. Another critique is sometimes the meat can be a little chewy but that rarely happens. We literally had to ask for everything we wanted. Who has to ask for a knife? Spoon? WATER??? Keep in mind this was 3 different requests. This is by far my favorite spot in Bridgeport. Amongst all the Chinese places within a 5 mile radius I continuously get this one. My food is always consistently delicious. I always get the same sweet delivery driver (who is probably annoyed that I order so much and I live so close ) and I am always happy with what I get. My favorite items are the Mongolian tofu & Cantonese noodles. I do like the general tso, however it's more of a orange sauce than I would expect. More sweet than spicy.
