I came here two years ago to replace the OEM mufflers on my E class with a dynomax race bullet and they gave me the quote and we got everything set up. Everything was going well. Went to pick up my car, race bullet installed, now I just need to pay. Woops, forgot to grab my OEM mufflers. I asked for my OEM mufflers and they hesitantly agreed to let me take them back with me. I did end up with the OEM mufflers, so that's fine. Fast forward to today, I am putting my OEM mufflers back on at a different place. I tell the new guys to cut out the race bullet and replace them with the OEM mufflers. The new guy checks under my car and says, "there's no dynomax race bullet under here. It looks like the last guys you took it to just sawzalled out the OEM mufflers and welded in some straight pipe." Not only did these guys not install the race bullet I brought them, they were going to keep my OEM mufflers after the fact. That would have been a nice payday, I suppose. I was referred to Jason at Chino Valley Muffler & Performance. I was shopping around to get an exhaust re-route done on my Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road 4x4. I needed this re-route done in order to fit my new skid plates under my Tacoma for a flush/flat fit. The way Toyota currently designs the exhausts on the Tacoma's is to bend it under the transfer case which causes the truck to lose ground clearance. I cannot be happier with Jason's work. He re-routed my exhaust to bend around the transfer case instead of under. Doing this will increase my ground clearance when off-roading and have my skids fit nice and smooth end to end. I highly recommend coming to Jason for your exhaust re-route needs if you are in the market for it. He quoted me a very fair price that I was happy with and had the work done on time as estimated. Jason also offers other services as well in the shop. I recommend giving the shop a call and setting an appointment. I spoke with John who gave me a very reasonable quote and fit me in the next day. The service only took a couple of hours and they even welded plates underneath the truck to help prevent any future theft attempts. Very pleased with the work and the overall experience I had at this shop. The welded pieces look great and make it much more difficult to get to the catalytic converters. Approx 4 years ago I had headers installed on my Silverado, 4 years later no leaks running great, I posted pic then too. Fast forward to today, Jason, the owner did a fantastic job installing a Corsa mid pipe on my Shelby. I recently had my catalytic converters stolen off my RV while stored at McBride's RV Storage in Chino. After filing a police report and dealing with Insurance, I reached out to Chino Valley Muffler and performance to get an estimate. Jason responded quickly with his initial estimate. I came here to see what was wrong with my exhaust system. Tom said he needed at least 20-25 minutes before taking a look at Sheila (my car's name). I went out to get breakfast while waiting and about 30 minutes later, he gave me a call saying that a pipe came off and all that was needed to do was a simple weld. He didn't try to sell me a part nor try to give me some cock-and-bull story about needing something else. I got my car before the time he said it would be done. On the drive home, my car sounded quieter then it did before. Sheila is a manual car and I change gears by rev noises alone and I kept going over my normal RPM to switch because of how quiet it is.
