Since I was fortunate enough to not need any car repairs in the last few months, I did not find out that my mechanic was permanently closed until this morning when I tried to schedule a brake repair with him. Updated Response to Shop Reply: Tony - a proper diagnostic should isolate the root cause before recommending a nearly $900 replacement. The vehicle left your shop actively overheating and with the same symptoms as before, meaning the radiator replacement did not solve the problem, whereas a $14 relay immediately did. In fact, when I picked up the vehicle I explicitly asked, "so the radiator was the solution to all my problems?" which you replied "yes." Now, suddenly, it could have been a number of issues and there are no guarantees that the original diagnosis should or shouldn't have fixed the problem. If this was the shops position, it should have been stated before the recommendation was made and work complete, not after realizing a $14 repair fixed the issue. While I do not believe the misdiagnosis was made with ill intent (I will edit my original review to accurately reflect this), refusing to stand behind the accuracy of the initial diagnostic is why I am sharing this experience and how integrity comes into question. Original Review: I brought my Honda Odyssey into Integrity Auto due to an overheating engine and inconsistent AC cooling. I received a call from Tony a few hours later who asserted that I needed a new radiator for $870. They replaced the radiator with a new one and I picked up the car the following day. On the way home, I noticed that the vehicle was still overheating and that the AC was going in and out of cooling - the same symptoms as before. I immediately called Tony and informed him, who seemed confused and asked me to bring the vehicle back the following week. Rather than waiting for my car to get worse, I jumped on YouTube and found several videos that pointed my symptoms to a faulty engine relay. I ran to auto zone, installed a new relay and my car was instantly fixed. A $14, 5-minute repair. I returned to Integrity Auto the following week and presented Tony with my receipts for the relay and asked why the issue had been misdiagnosed. Rather than taking responsibility, Tony nervously came up with a number of excuses as to why I would have needed a new radiator anyway, stating that the relay was "just a coincidence", "must have overheated after the radiator was installed", and that "the relay was also part of the problem". The stories did not add up. Why would a relay overheat AFTER a brand new radiator is installed and cooling the engine properly? If a relay was part of the problem in the first place, why wasn't a new one installed at the same time? I even offered to reinstall my old relay or have them put back the old radiator to prove that a new one was never needed. After realizing they weren't going to own their misdiagnosis, I left the shop with no resolution offered. Now, I am out nearly $900 for a fix that was clearly misdiagnosed and likely completely unnecessary to begin with. This shop had an opportunity to live up to its name but it's clear that integrity is not something they actually value. I would caution any new customers from visiting this mechanic to ensure you are not taken advantage of like I was. read more

After jamming my brakes with seriously low pads, I found myself finally going metal-to-metal and I was desperate to get them fixed for my long drive back home. I called Integrity and within 10 minutes, I slowly made my way over to them. I was expecting an overblown estimate considering my situation. I was expecting several hours of wait time. I was expecting lots of fearmonger upselling. I was wildly surprised and PROFOUNDLY grateful when I walked out exactly ONE HOUR later paying for exactly (and only) what was required to get me safely on the road. In my opinion and based on this first visit, the name of this shop says EVERYTHING! One of my greatest fears is being a woman alone walking into an auto repair shop. I was greeted warmly, my questions were answered clearly, every anticipated step and cost of the service was laid out with absolutely no surprises at completion. I was given insight as to the condition of my vehicle and suggestions for future service with realistic timelines. The only thing I didn't get was a comped lunch at the burrito joint down the block! I have been taking ALL of my cars and vehicles to Integrity Auto for over 30 years since long before Tony took over the business. From the beginning, they have stayed true to their motto: Sincerity, Honesty, Integrity. I've meant to write a Yelp review for years and have neglected poorly on my part, so I want to let anyone reading these reviews know that you will be served honestly, the guys will do A+ work on your vehicle, and the prices are upfront and fair. They will NOT say one thing, then go back on their word and do another. If situations arise with repair work on your vehicle, they will let you know upfront and give you options moving forward. Tony and Daryl communicate with their customers clearly. The vehicles that Integrity Auto have serviced over the past 3 decades for me include: Honda, Toyota, Acura and Cadillac. There hasn't been an issue with any repair work done on any vehicle during this time span. Seriously, if Yelp provided a 5+ star review, I would give them the highest mark possible. Currently, I take my 2022 Toyota 4Runner to them, and I wouldn't trust my vehicle to anyone else. This is a situation that had arisen this past winter. When I purchased my 4Runner from Toyota in April 2022, I used the 2-year or 35K free oil/filter service at the dealership. My car was lifted during this time to complete the service. When the free oil changes were up, I returned to Integrity for any further service. On my first oil change at Integrity, they noticed an oil leak near the transfer case underneath. It wasn't anything noticeable; no oil spots or residue on my garage floor. The oil had been seeping through the gasket seal and naturally began to coat the underbelly of my vehicle. They noticed it right away and recommended that I take it back to the dealership to get it serviced since it was still under warranty. I had also purchased the 75K service warranty at Toyota when I had bought it originally. When I went back to Toyota to get it serviced, there was an about-face from the service guy at the counter, and I could tell immediately that they were reluctant and questioned my problem. I even showed them pictures that I had taken of the leak. Long story, short, they found the problem and kept my 4Runner for 3 days to complete the repair. It's a tricky repair on the Toyota trucks to replace a gasket seal, takes time, and it would've been an expensive repair. On reflection, I knew wholeheartedly and without a doubt that during the 2 years of free oil service, the technicians at Toyota noticed the leak. For those of you reading this long-winded review (sorry) and know anything about repair work, you indeed notice problems immediately. Toyota ignored the leak and would have continued to ignore it until the extended warranty had expired, causing me to eventually spend hundreds on a repair job. I wrote a letter of dissatisfaction to Toyota about my experience, and I haven't heard back from them since. I am thankful to Tony and the guys at Integrity Auto for noticing the gasket seal leak and their recommendation to get the repair work done at the dealership for free under the warranty. On my next visit to Integrity in the spring, I had them check the work that Toyota had done to replace the gasket seal, and they confirmed that there was no longer any leak. Don't trust dealerships. They'll find imaginary and ghost problems that don't exist and charge you through the roof for unnecessary repairs. Instead, take all of your vehicles to Integrity Auto!! read more
