Chip City in FoHi, who would've thunk it. I love that FoHi has changed it's food scenery. My hunny surprised me with treats from here because we both were smelling cookies in our place the day before but we didn't bake anything lol. I love that Chip City offers a different cookie each day. Be sure to check their weekly menu to see what fun flavors they have. They offer seasonal, classic, and speciality cookies. The cookies are a take on childhood treats, iconic desserts, and seasonal flavors. They also have seasonal drinks, coffee, iced coffee, espresso, tea, matcha, and milk. You can also purchase the Bake-At-Home Bundles or their merchandise via the website. My hunny ordered three chocolate chip and two chocolate peanut butter cookies. Let me start off by saying I'm not a chocolate nor peanut butter fan but these cookies were phenomenal! I tried the chocolate chip cookie and thought this is pretty good. I rave all the time about the location in Astoria being Queen's Levain. So super excited to see Chip City expanding- cept this particular experience was not so grand at this location. Staff members were a bit curt while boxing the cookies, even though we had allowed two families to go ahead of us to order. We did two each of the available flavors for our friends and two of them reported food poisoning - which is unfortunate since I was chip city's unofficial cookie ambassador. Needless to say, could've been a number of factors but it'll be awhile before we return. read more

3.5 stars - wanted to be able to give this location at least a 4, but the cookie just fell short of my expectations. I was so excited to find that a Chip opened in Forest Hills so I wouldn't have to make the trek all the way to Astoria. It's also a great addition to the area! Came at around 9pm and they were still cranking out freshly baked cookies, so that's also a plus. My favorite here is the good ol' chocolate chip cookie ($4 each). Where it kind of fell short was that there wasn't any kind of salt in the cookie. The Astoria location had just the right amount of salt to complement the chocolate and to offset the sweetness, but the cookie here was just really sweet. Probably will still come in the future to satisfy my chocolate chip cookie cravings, but would love just a little pinch of salt. I believe this location takes both cash + card, but there's a 3% service charge for card. read more

The vegan options are amazing and I would definitely recommend them. The service is very warm and inviting. They did however get one of my orders slightly wrong but immediately corrected it and apologized which is shocking coming from young people these days because they don't like to admit when they are wrong I thought that was admirable and will always go to the forest hills location!!! The store is small and cute but they get you in and out very quickly! read more

These cookies don't disappoint! They are just.. wow. They are served warm and fresh always and they are so addictive. First off, the branding is absolutely adorable and I love how they offer their menu weekly now instead of daily. The inside of this place is very small but it's so adorable. The staff was very friendly and gave their recommendations of what we should get. We ended up getting horchata, s'mores, chocolate raspberry cheesecake, and a dolce type of cookie. The horchata was out of this world; sweet but perfectly balanced by the filling. The s'mores is classic and it so soft on the inside. We didn't love their chocolate raspberry cheesecake as the filling tasted a bit too artificial but the cookie itself was very tasty. The dolce cookie was very sweet but if you go in knowing that, you'll love it! Overall, always a great experience at any Chip City location! read more

This area has popped up with a lot of new little places, never noticed these guys till recently. After dinner near by we came here for a sweet treat, we got the Pumpkin & Reese's pieces cookies. Pumpkin was very good, so was the Reese's. The cookies are pretty big & probably not the healthiest of choices but for every so often they are certainly worth the try. read more

I found this place while having an appointment on Austin Street. In Philly I had Insomnia cookies but these are way better. The size of the cookies is nice a big and thick. Love picking them up so warm. The store is small but cute and smells amazing. Staff is always nice and friendly. read more

Outstanding cookies. Soft and chewy, best warmed (and there are instructions on the box on how to reheat them so they're optimal). They rotate two or three kinds, and have chocolate chip available pretty much everyday. It's a small storefront, no tables, just step in, order, pay, and step out. People are friendly though, so it's a pleasant experience. I like to think of them as a slightly cheaper, more varied version of Levain. They're thick cookies, eating more than one is risky! I ended up getting a box of six cookies for my sister to celebrate her promotion. I ordered online and the process was very straight forward, even better that I came early and they had my order ready to go. The three stars is for the experience I had afterwards. I decided to get myself a cookie for the way home. The clerk asked for my phone number, that I was assuming to gain rewards points, which is what I wanted. Then she quickly said "oh wait, you have a free cookie" and used my points to finish the transaction without asking me if I wanted to use them. I didn't want to use them then and there. I wanted to save them up for something else. When I asked if she could reverse the order, she asked the manager if she could redo the transaction, but made it seem as if I was the one that changed my mind. No, that was your mistake, not mine. Manager said that it would be this whole process that seemed way too much trouble than for what it was worth but this still bothered me. That wasn't cool, but I hope that they won't do that again. Other than that, both me and my sister loved the cookies! They were incredibly delicious! read more

Best thing to happen to the neighborhood. Chip City is amazing. Love that they switch up their flavors daily and you can see what they will have each week. First time I checked the new neighborhood location out we got chocolate chip, chocolate peanut butter, s'mores and lemon berry. Lemon berry was so good and ended up being our favorite, aside from s'mores. The cookies are so thick and taste amazing when they are warm. I recently went back and got their Valentine's Day cookies. They had chocolate chip, funfetti, red velvet and strawberries and cream. Red velvet was my favorite of this bunch. Love these cookies so much. I've been meaning to visit this chain for a while and remembering a post my friend had on Instagram with some of the cookies from last week, I made a detour while in the neighborhood. The entire vibe of this place is fun and upbeat, you can't help smiling. The space itself is pretty small, but the ambiance is the epitome of kawaii. The decor, merch, and of course, those hefty cookies. The employees were funny and friendly, so all in all, a good visit. They didn't have the s'mores one, so I went for the peanut butter & jelly. I waited to have it home, and put it in the toaster oven for a few minutes...... Omg it is soooooo good! I only ate half. I mean, it's a huge cookie! Great addition to Forest Hills! I used to go to the cookie truck that would come once a week. Awesome that now we can get cookies whenever we want! And this location is very convenient on Austin st right in the main area. My favorite flavors are the chocolate chip, s'more, and pumpkin. The holiday/fall flavors are so much fun for the holidays. Wish they'd have them more often! (They have only 4 flavors per day.) read more

The most addictive cookies I ever had in my life. We bought Chip City 4 times in less than 10 days. Quick breakdown Chocolate chip - scrumdiddlyumptious. It's on the menu everyday and it should be! S'mores - not bad but I rather have the regular chocolate chip. It's basically is the chocolate chip with toasted marshmallows in the middle of cookie. Triple chocolate - mucho bueno! Usually these heavily chocolate style cookies are too dense and tough to eat after a few bites due to the sweetness but theirs is on point! Funfetti - fun and cute. Kids like em. White chocolate macadamia - probably my favorite. Nutella sea salt - not enough taste of sea salt but still bangin. Peanut butter & jelly - finger lickin good. Literally a peanut butter jelly sandwich into a cookie. Cookies & Cream - send me to heaven! Peach something, I can't recall it's full name but this was my least favorite. Not really fond of the cinnamon taste. Next on our try list is the lemon berry on Sunday. Verdict - I understand why Cookie Monster is a addict to cookies. I never had a craze for cookies until now. I may need to find a cookies anonymous meeting soon. read more

When ordering via food apps, do yourselves a favor and order your Chip City cookies from the Sunnyside location. I ordered 4 cookies from the Forest Hills shop, and only received 3. The cookies are also stone cold; I'm now having to wait additional time heating them up to enjoy them. The Sunnyside location is *further* from my address and *always* arrive warm. The Forest Hills location is *closer* to my address and arrived *cold*. Cold cookies might be best served with warm milk...but I'm a warm-cookie-cold-milk kinda girl! read more

This a cute little spot in the busy Austin St. It features creative cookies like blueberry cheesecake , fruity pebble and smores cookies. Each one is around 5 bucks and they are big sized cookies. I got the blueberry cheesecake and it was warm and nice. A lil sweet but it would be a great addition with milk. Must check out for sure ! read more

Needed to know what all The hype was about. Supposedly the best cookies in town. Waited on line in the bitter cold but it was ok. Friendly people all social distancing. Finally got to the cute shop very friendly staff. Decided to go for it and get one of every flavor including the special popcorn cookie. SO DISAPPOINTING! The only flavor these cookies have is sugar. The lemon raspberry all you taste is the powdered sugar. None of the cookies have any flavor. I do r get it. They're loaded with chips or marshmallows or peanut butter. Could barely get a faint taste of them. Sorry folks. I love my cookies but these are a big let down. read more

I got a triple choc and it was truly nothing special. All it did was put a concrete lump in my kishkes. But the flavor? Meh. Bigger is not better. And these are actually not even as good as Pepperidge Farm's soft cookies...which are more flavorful and of a size that a normal human can handle. So I tried it...and it's a "big" nothing. "It's a kosher rule." I asked, "So how are we supposed to buy cookies then?" He simply shrugged. That was it. No attempt to explain, no alternative, no customer service whatsoever. I've never experienced being turned away from a grab-and-go cookie shop simply because I was holding a drink purchased next door. If this is truly store policy, it's incredibly unfriendly and makes no sense from a customer's perspective. If it was a kosher policy, a respectful explanation would have gone a long way instead of a dismissive shrug. Needless to say, we left without buying anything.
