This PB location was packed with customers on the day of my visit. The breads and pastries were in full stock and display had a full array of cake selections. The line to order at the front counter moved fairly quickly and I was able to use my PB app easily. Went to grab an afternoon coffee and dessert and a good place to go to is Paris Baguette. This particular one was crowded (Day before Easter) but they still kept the line going. The girl behind the counter was very cheerful and positive. A vanilla latte and croissant did me good. They don't have many seats and you have to get there before lunch to get a chance to see all their goodies they normally have. I had my first cronut at the Flushing location 10 years or so ago ( when they first came out and were all the rage). So I was so glad to stumble upon this Forest Hills location during a recent visit. This is a South Korean inspired establishment, French made baked goods and pastries with an Asian twist, all artistically and beautifully presented. So you will see some red and bean curd and other not so traditional Paris or French choices. Awesome! I was in a mad rush but luckily was able to grab some items to go. All delicious and wished I had grabbed 1 of everything! Service was fast and friendly and there are some tables available to eat in. Recently had the cappuccino cake for an event from here after it being recommended from a friend. I'm not thrilled and kinda eh about it. Maybe it's just me as we all have different preferences so I'll describe it and you judge for yourself. It's shaped like a cup of cappuccino which is really cute! It has a chocolate handle and their logo on top as well as some chocolate espresso beans, but they're just chocolate, not chocolate coated espresso beans. The top has a brown layer of what I thought would be caramel but it tasted more like honey which had a pleasant, light taste. They sprinkled cinnamon on top of that which was WOW with the honey! The thick white "foam" all around the top was the worst thing about this cake. It didn't taste like anything, not even sugary, it had the consistency of Crisco my grandmother used to use and I would curiously poke as a child. The flavor and texture were not there and it was not eaten. The cake itself tasted like it was soaked in espresso and surrounded by a thin layer of chocolate, the " cup". There were thin layers of cream in between the cake. When I purchase items from the first time at Paris baguette it's always a 50/50 chance of hit or miss. This is a miss for me. read more

Paris Baguettes are a chain bakery but they are pretty good and consistent. This location is very convenient as it's right on Continental Ave. There's some seating but it can filled up pretty quickly when it's busy. They have a tray and tongs as soon as you walk in and you use that to pick what you want. Plenty of choices and they have a ton of flavors as well. For example they have plan croissants but they also have chocolate one, berries and almonds and a few more. I want to say most of it is made fresh on site. So, I keep losing my rewards and decided to redeem my free coffee reward. I go up to the cashier and ask her how to redeem the rewards and she informs me I have to download the app. I thought I had it on my phone. But, needed to download it again and try signing in. But, the captcha kept prompting an error msg. They decorative cakes as well as other breads and cake slices. The cakes are very pretty. The taste of most desserts is never overpoweringly sweet but flavorful enough to be good. The price is a little bit on the expensive side but I've never not purchased a fresh tasting item. I ordered three baked goods and we're all tasty. I appreciate that all baked good are separately package (clean). Can't recommend the mocha cake enough - it's now my go-to cake I buy for any special occasion. The mocha flavor seems to taste just right - not overpowering and not too light. The cake layers themselves are very airy and fluffy, and I love the various garnishes on top of the caramel drizzle - the chocolate decorative pieces, the brownies, and the chocolate cream filled pirouette cookies. I'd personally prefer a bit more buttercream filling in between the cake, but overall, I think this is a really unique and tasty option when you're looking for a cake. My sister got the Provence Chicken Pesto Baguette and a box of 4 packaged macarons. - Provence Chicken Pesto Baguette - grilled chicken, topped with parmesan, fresh mozzarella, roasted bell pepper, pesto, and garnished with basil, on Paris' signature baguette - Macarons (box of 4) - Intense Chocolate, Vanilla Creme Brûlée, Pistachio, and Raspberry We split the baguette and the macarons and both agreed that the macarons (which we had not planned on getting) tasted way better than the sandwich itself. The baguette was really dry and it seems like Paris skimps on the ingredients, as there was very little sandwich filling. The macarons, in comparison, were crisp on the outside, soft on the inside and so scrumptious. I wish you could pick and choose which flavors to get though instead of having the macarons pre-packaged ahead of time. The first three flavors tasted good, but I didn't enjoy the Raspberry one. Unfortunately, I feel like lots of the other factors bring this place down. My favorite pastry that they have is the raspberry almond croissant. These don't come out until after 9 on the daily. They have lots of other items that have more of a lunchy vibe to them come out earlier on in the day. You should have breakfast pastries come out first before the lunch pastries. I said this to a worker and they whole heartedly agreed with me, but they said that is the way it is. On multiple occasions they run out of stuff. I get that you don't want to waste food but it is also a little depressing when you go in the afternoon and there isn't much available. When you walk in everything is always clean you can eat off of the floor type clean. Before COVID all the food was open. Now they have plastic sliding doors. Prices are always reasonable and customer service is always pleasant. They cakes are always light and you never feel like you ate too much or had too many.
