Biscoff Cookie Butter Layer Cake - DELICIOUS! (08/23/25)
    Jennifer Y.

5 Stars for Paris Baguette's Biscoff Cookie Butter Layer Cake! Mmm, delicious bites of layers of sponge cake, Biscoff cream filling, Biscoff butter frosting , and, Biscoff cookies. Just right in sweetness and dreamy it was with coffee. A memorable birthday cake for me indeed! CHEERS!

The Americano leaving a bad taste in my mouth. Baristas are supposed to provide customer service that's positive today was horrible
    Chandrima D.

had the most horrible service today by one of the baristas I ordered a double espresso and changed my drink to an americano. I'm a paying customer that frequents this cafe and I've never been treated this way. the barista was a darker skin male with glasses and a slight mustache. he was so rude "why the fuck did she change her drink for." he told this female barista coworker because she made a double espresso and then when I spoke up to him about hearing him and how rude he was he told me to "you're the only one starting problems get the fuck out." I asked for the manager and spoke to the manager and all I got was i will talk to him. this was such a traumatizing event. 2:14pm if you go at this time please avoid him.

Love Paris Baguette. I think it's the best bakery to get cakes in the neighborhood as the cakes are not ridiculously sweet like the other bakeries around. The service is always friendly and accommodating. While it's small and usually busy, there are some tables. Overall, I'm happy that a Paris Baguette is in the neighborhood.

This PB location was packed with customers on the day of my visit. The breads and pastries were in full stock and display had a full array of cake selections. The line to order at the front counter moved fairly quickly and I was able to use my PB app easily. Was able to snag a seat right after I got my order, so decided to sit-in and enjoyed my mochi donut. The condiment counter was a bit messy at the time of my visit. Overall, a good PB branch

Friend treated to iced latte and a pistachio frosted cream croissant. Saw the commercial so took the opportunity to give it a try. Not bad. Frosting is a bit sweet but since it's only partially dipped, so it made it acceptable. The inside cream was light and mildly sweet. Overall a decent dessert/treat. Nice companion with a coffee or tea. So give it a try if you happen to want a croissant with a twist.

I suggested getting the cream bread from Paris to my mom since milk bread in general is always pretty good everywhere. I usually go to TLJ or other Asian bakeries but this was right next to Fay Da which was also on my mom's list. Do not get the cream bread that's sliced. Omg it was just in the afternoon but the bread was not soft at all. Maybe it's stale?? So hard on the sides too. My mom doesn't eat it like sandwich bread she usually just eats the bread as is and she said it was terrible... I don't go to Paris often, but it is not cheap compared to other Asian bakeries so I would think their bread would be decent at least. She shouldvejust gotten the strawberry cake like I initially suggested. But there's so much cream and barely any cake so she didn't want it.

Loved the cappuccino cake shaped like a big cup of cappuccino of course -- mocha cake with mocha buttercream. It's all cake with icing - at first I thought the bottom was molded chocolate but it isn't, only the handle is. Good size for a small group. Located on busy 71st St, This PB has a larger area than the one on Queens Blvd in Rego Park so wish they can add more seating. Also, a few times we went there not even near closing time, most of the pastry shelves are empty already.

Love their chocolate chiffon cake! The cream is light enough that you don't feel gross after eating it, but rich enough that it's very tasty and filling. Good sweetness level too. A solid Asian bakery chain to check out in the area

I had my first cronut at the Flushing location 10 years or so ago ( when they first came out and were all the rage). So I was so glad to stumble upon this Forest Hills location during a recent visit. This is a South Korean inspired establishment, French made baked goods and pastries with an Asian twist, all artistically and beautifully presented. So you will see some red and bean curd and other not so traditional Paris or French choices. Awesome! I was in a mad rush but luckily was able to grab some items to go. All delicious and wished I had grabbed 1 of everything! Service was fast and friendly and there are some tables available to eat in. The hot dog in a croissant is the adult version of pigs in a blanket and is a buttery, flaky, delicious masterpiece! Same for the quiche Lorraine. I cannot wait to return.

Great neighborhood spot. Open early and always has great fresh variety of baked good items. Love their breakfast sandiwches of ham, cheese, brioche, and a hash brown, croissants, egg salad sandwich, chefs salad, and woderful cakes. We love the mocha cake, and the chocolate cake as we always get them for birthdays. Not too sweet. The staff are great, nice, and attentive. Wonderful hazelnut coffee and iced coffee as well. Always a regular and would recommend.

Recently had the cappuccino cake for an event from here after it being recommended from a friend. I'm not thrilled and kinda eh about it. Maybe it's just me as we all have different preferences so I'll describe it and you judge for yourself. It's shaped like a cup of cappuccino which is really cute! It has a chocolate handle and their logo on top as well as some chocolate espresso beans, but they're just chocolate, not chocolate coated espresso beans. The top has a brown layer of what I thought would be caramel but it tasted more like honey which had a pleasant, light taste. They sprinkled cinnamon on top of that which was WOW with the honey! The thick white "foam" all around the top was the worst thing about this cake. It didn't taste like anything, not even sugary, it had the consistency of Crisco my grandmother used to use and I would curiously poke as a child. The flavor and texture were not there and it was not eaten. The cake itself tasted like it was soaked in espresso and surrounded by a thin layer of chocolate, the " cup". There were thin layers of cream in between the cake. When I purchase items from the first time at Paris baguette it's always a 50/50 chance of hit or miss. This is a miss for me.

Paris Baguettes are a chain bakery but they are pretty good and consistent. This location is very convenient as it's right on Continental Ave. There's some seating but it can filled up pretty quickly when it's busy. They have a tray and tongs as soon as you walk in and you use that to pick what you want. Plenty of choices and they have a ton of flavors as well. For example they have plan croissants but they also have chocolate one, berries and almonds and a few more. I want to say most of it is made fresh on site. They also have sandwiches and drinks and coffee. This is a great addition to the area.

There's usually a line of some length during peak hours and especially around the holidays. You can tell by the sheer volume of baked goods and cakes available in their window displays that they sell a lot daily. This location is on the main drag of the little downtown section of Forest Hills, the baked goods in the front window display connect to a tall and long glass counter along the left side of the store that extends almost to the back. At the back middle and along the right side of the wall there's seating for about two dozen people at small cafe tables. They carry an assortment of traditional cakes (full and sliced), pies, cookies, pastries, cheesecakes, cupcakes, ice cream and coffee/tea drinks. A wide variety of flavors in each, so you're bound to find something sweet to satisfy most here. They are a classic bakery so from what I can tell, they don't carry items that are gluten, dairy or nut free. I've purchased their apple pie, fruit tart, berry napoleon, red velvet and chocolate fudge cakes from this or other locations in the past and they're all solid choices for desserts to share with a larger group, though I find a lot of their cake options to be on the richer side. My most recent encounter with their cakes came in the form of a slice of their seven layer cake $9.95 which is thin layers of yellow cake alternating with chocolate cream mmm pretty tasty, and their caramel cake $9.95 which had a layer of chocolate cake in the middle, sandwiched by caramel cream and white cake on either side. The latter had a pronounced caramel flavor that was enjoyable though a bit too much cream for me. My preference would be for their chocolate cakes over other cake flavors here. Their apple pie is one of my favorite apple pies anywhere tho!

The cookie dough part was made so well, it had such a nice texture. It wasn't too dry, not too crumbly, it was made just right.
