Finally got to the cute shop very friendly staff. Decided to go for it and get one of every flavor including the special popcorn cookie. SO DISAPPOINTING! The only flavor these cookies have is sugar. The lemon raspberry all you taste is the powdered sugar. None of the cookies have any flavor. I do r get it. They're loaded with chips or marshmallows or peanut butter. I'd heard so much about Chip City and was really excited to try these cookies out for the first time, but tbh I don't really get the hype :/ This location is incredibly small so I'd advise trying to go on off-peak hours if you can, though the staff were really nice! I thought the way different flavors are switched daily was interesting but ended up settling on just a cookies n' creme and a s'mores. Not sure if the cookies were sitting out longer than usual, but I didn't really enjoy the texture, which is why these cookies are supposed to be famous for. They were already pretty crispy on the outside and kind of crumbly on the inside, not at all gooey and chewy (even though we ate them right after buying them). I enjoyed the flavor of the s'mores slightly more, the white chocolate chips in the cookies n' creme one were a bit overly sweet for me. These cookies were $4 each, but I think the individual price will increase to $4.50 soon based on the website. Just a note, it's cheaper to pay in cash than card! read more

I will give this place 5 stars because they are a very decent cookie shop. The flavors are great and cookies are fresh. Shop employees are friendly and the wait was manageable - they also only let one customer in at a time because it is basically just a store front order and go. Are they the best cookies? No. The choc chip staple fell short for me and probably because the choc chips tasted a bit stronger chocolate not typical milk chocolate. But aside from that they have a great base. I loved the pear cookie!! Oatmeal base with pear and a glaze it was delicious especially warm. The Apple stuffed oatmeal cookie is also delicious- like an apple pie warm. There is a display of fresh cookies with several flavors - smores and a blueberry cheesecake cookie and several others. We picked the smores cookie. Ohh my sweet motha of cookies it was so sweet. Unbearably sweet. I credit the fantastic service and appreciate the presence of a cookie store in Forest Hills, but one bite of the cookie tastes like it contains a bag of sugar. Regretfully, we couldn't finish the cookie. We appreciate the sweetness in our neighborhood and lives though. Sooo happy they're in my neighborhood. I ordered 2 boxes last night through Postmates for pickup and got a small discount. The two girls working were super sweet. As for the cookies, the funfetti was absolutely amazing. Everyone loved the triple chocolate. The chocolate chip is delicious. I also got the special popcorn, but haven't tried yet. Such a cute small location. Big enough for purchase and take-out. Although...during winter season, you may have to wait in the line outside. That's a bummer. The cookies are, all, so yummy and even though pricey; worth it. They're so creative with their flavors. I was once told by a worker they don't serve coffee as in the other locations, but recently went and for some reason decided to mention that it's unfortunate they don't sell coffee there and the worker that day stated they do and always had. Their cookies are amazing and delicious, but I only give it one star because of the filth and dropped cookies left on the sidewalk for people to cake on their shoes like dog poop and dogs picking up sometimes whole cookies that could make them sick. If their clients are careless pigs, the employees should go out with a broom to clean the cookies in at least 50 feet in each direction of their door. It would only take 3 minutes of their time. Super disappointing, now that the cookies are almost always over baked. Got excited for the thin chips because their consistency was more like the previous generation, but nope - second time over baked. Definitely not worth it anymore. Super excited that a Chip has opened up in this location. I haven't personally been in the store as of yet but definitely taking advantage of UberEats for them. Their cookies remain top tier. Constant changing flavors and fun ones at that. My go tos are their classic chocolate chip and their s'mores. For more special flavors, their red velvet and strawberries n cream were good hits. I've had a Scooby snack one and apple pies ones in the past from different locations that also were very delicious. Definitely a thick, flavorful cookie - if you're not into a thicker cookie I'd say this wouldn't be a spot for you. Some would say obsessed lol but if you love sweets ....cookies to be exact then make your way to any of the locations you see or that is near you!!! I have tried their chocolate chip, triple chocolate, cookies & cream, glazed pear, pbj, smores, funfetti and peanut butter chocolate. They are ALL AMAZING BUTTTT MY ALLLLL TIME FAVORITE IS THEIR COOKIES AND CREAM AND TRIPLE CHOCOLATE UGHHHH!!! You gots to love white chocolate for their cookies and cream and you gots to loveeee chocolate chocolate for their triple chocolate!!! When I saw there was a line and you could smell the cookies outside, it was already a good indication that this is good stuff. So, yesterday I got some chocolate chip, chocolate peanut butter, s'mores and blue berry cheesecake cookies. The line was already forming when I came there but it moves quickly. Cookies are dense and big. In my opinion, I think the chocolate chips were a little too sweet, but I like the blue berry cheesecake so far. I will return to try the other ones later. read more

Stood in line over an hour to buy the rainbow cookies. I was handed a box that was neatly labeled and taped shut. Wish I had opened it to check but by the time I opened the box it was too late. A decent cookie spot! I was excited for this new addition to the neighborhood but I was a bit disappointed. Only one day, when I got the cookie right after it came out of the oven was it truly warm, moist, and worth it. The other times the cookie crumbled too easily and dry.
