So I came here for the laneige pop up. This poor worker - how can you only have one person working when there's a pop up? There should have been 2 max at the front! I got the passion fruit donut. She did great despite being alone!Def not worth $10. That's mind blowing to me. There is ample street parking but this area is quite busy.

I really like had Dough has exotic doughnut flavors that you don't see elsewhere! The ones I got were the dulce de leche, Boston Creme, cheesecakes and toasted coconut. I came here late and would love to come back earlier to see what other flavors they have!

I mean if you've been to Dough, it's pretty much what you'd expect. Donuts that pretty dense compared to maybe a traditional donut that's airy and fluffy or at least what I'm used to for this sweet treat. It's a smaller version of a Dough shop, but they provide essentially the same at any other location. Small cute place and maybe worth trying out if a thicker donut is more your style. Overall, no issues with service and a decent place for a doughnut especially since there's not a lot of options in the area

Honestly, kind of disappointing. Yes, it's a cute shop and the donuts are very photogenic but they all taste the same. I got three flavors - cafe au lait, Nutella, and dolce de leche. You can barely tell the difference between the three. The dough itself is very good, but the flavors are lacking. We liked the cafe one the best, with Nutella as the runner up.

4.5 stars!! Half a star knocked only because of the price girl. No because these doughnuts will always be a special treat. I know they're pricey but come onnnnn. Then they dropped the doughbai chocolate doughnut and when I tell you I sprinted. Ugh the workers there are always so nice and it's always clean in there. I'm writing this thinking about going again today because I miss them.

I'm so grateful I do not have to trek into the city for dough anymore. The staff is really friendly and the donuts are always so fresh and delicious, during the begining I did have some issues with the donuts being bland or not that good. But past few times I have gone, they have been stellar. They have some unique and seasonal flavors that are always a must try !

Came here for an after lunch dessert and it was quite nice. This is a small place with 2 small tables for sit-down dining, but most people just grab to-go. Service is pretty efficient, no complaints there. I did like the donuts a lot even though I'm not really a donut person. The plain glazed had a good texture and the right amount of sweetness. The raspberry white chocolate was probably our favorite, the raspberry glaze was pretty flavorful. The hibiscus though was so-so, flavor did not stand out too much. Hoping to try the passionfruit flavor next time!

Latte was awesome! Donut consumed before the pic and followed by a really delicious cookie!

Definite good decision on going with my eyes and stomach. First off, the donuts are almost to pretty to eat. I said almost . Tasty and light, but $5 for a donut knocked it down a star. Latte was perfect and although the place is small, the service was great.

Oh noes, what happened to Dough?! I remember Dough donuts to be huge, airy, fluffy. Now they're just huge. The store is clean and the staff is friendly as always...but the product is just...blech. I don't know if the donuts are baked on premises or if they're baked in an industrial kitchen and delivered...but I hope this is just a fluke. We ordered a half dozen and they were all so dry. I feel like I'm eating sugared cardboard.

Visited this new shop about 2pm. Everything is clean and new and was SO excited to try these donuts again after having them at Smorgasburg a couple of years ago. I was most excited for the Hibiscus donut which they were out of...seems like they make one batch a day so if you go in the afternoon, flavors are limited. Decided to try the toasted coconut, strawberry jelly, and cocoa nib donuts. All three were fresh and fluffy!

Love this shop and was soo excited when I saw one in queens. But the lady working there last night right before closing time was so rude. Said nothing when we walked in and store was empty, k. She looked annoyed and was busy with her phone. Asked if she can put 1 in a box which we were giving to a freind and 2 others seperate box. She said "no" very rudely. Taken aback. Then she finally explained quickly its 4 and so on to a box. Your pastries are good but walking into an artisan bakery is also an experience want to enjoy to. Look into your staff's attitude

Pretty solid option for doughnuts in Astoria. Dough Doughnuts have more of a bread-like texture rather than your typical doughnut, but they were actually pretty tasty and soft to chew. They were also fresh and very pillowy. And, they're huge! One doughnut is definitely enough for one person or even more. The store was offering a limited edition Ube Cheesecake Doughnut, which had the perfect amount of filling and sweetness. I also chose a Strawberry Doughnut and the frosting was very reminiscent of strawberries and didn't have an artificial flavor. However, I think I'll be making trips here every once in a while, as the price for one doughnut can be expensive. Not my cup of tea to spend $5+ for only one doughnut. Also the store is a bit small and doesn't have seating - more of a grab-and-go place, though they have a bench outside. The entire doughnut is covered in topping as well, so I would recommend grabbing some napkins and eating with utensils, as it can get messy!

I bought the coconut and blueberry doughnut here. Both were the driest doughnuts I've ever had in my life. There's no fluff in the doughnut and overall just poorly put together. Almost felt like I was eating a soft bagel. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Nothing but disappointments here.

They are famous for their flan cake mix. The ones in the cooler were just alright. The flan was more of a custard texture (away from jiggly jello) which was good. However, the bottom cake layers had subtle flavors and were a bit stale. The flan tastes better when its fresh and not refrigerated though. Compared to other customer's pictures, I think the issue was that there was not much caramel sauce on the plate. there was not much liquid on the bottom of the plate so the cakes did not look moist for most of our flans. The halo halo was a bit small in size for $12 (jar is similar to a overnight oats serving size). ive seen other places price it at $8-10 for that size. Overall, it was a miss for me for my first time. Service was nice though. they did let us stay 20 mins past closing.

Anyone with kids know with a young child, things can get dicey. You won't know at any moments time when you need to stop, drop, and roll. My girl was pretty calm and great the whole time, didn't expect anything less, but as usual, Kora was CROWDED. I felt hopeless about getting a table and I cannot compete with the adults with no kids, but I decided to take a chance. I got 2 pastries and a drink to sit and enjoy. After I paid, I look behind me, and of course, no seats. But then the employee who was also the door person/greeter, saw my distress, heard my concern, and then helped me get a table outside. I expressed my concern that I wouldn't be able to hear my name for my drink, and I cannot leave my daughter outside. She insisted that she would service my table. The employee got me my drink, napkins, utensils, and told me if I needed anything else, just ask her. It's the service like this that makes me feel not limited whenever I want to go to Kora, and I am very inclined to go back when I am solo parenting.

I love a success story! Kudos to Kora & Staff for all their accomplishments! Now that the hype has calmed down, it's much more accessible without having to wait on line for an hour. Yayyyy! We came on a Sunday, around 10:30am and there was no line but within 15 minutes, a line started to form outside. But kudos to Kora for keeping an orderly line: you wait outside, and when room inside the store frees up, they will let you in, around 10 people at a time. Once inside, you wait on line but it goes fast! Customer service is very patient and attentive. For first timers, it may be overwhelming to decide what to order since everything looks fantastic! On this visit, we tried: -- Ube Brioche Brioche ($7): this was oozing with ube goodness! Nice and creamy but I found the flavors a little mild. -- Leche Flan Brioche ($7): this was a powdered brioche donut with a round flan right in the middle. Very good. The flan was a little dense though. -- Blackberry & Jasmine Cream ($8): this Brioche donut was light n creamy. I found the flavors a little light but great texture. All in all, I'm so glad I finally got a chance to try Kora's! The presentation of all of their products are outstanding. I thought the flavors were a little mild; bolder flavors would have made these donuts stand out more. The pricing is a little high but I can appreciate paying more for a quality product. If the prices were lower, I'd probably go more often. So for now, this will be a once in a while treat...and what a treat it is!
