It's just ok honestly. I actually think crumble is better. The staff is kind of young and they don't do well under pressure they get confused at times about which cookie is what. The chocolate chip cookie was dry. I really don't see the hype about this place. Wouldn't come back.

One of my new favorite cookie spots! The cookies taste like they just came out of the oven. Delicious, ooey, and gooey through & through. Got a 3-pack bundle and tried the Confetti, Chocolate Chip, and Cookies n Cream (which was my fave). They're pretty hefty but we managed to finish them! Will definitely return to try not only other flavors but other offerings like their ice cream and cookie thins!

I've been a fan of Chip City since they were called Chip NYC and only had a location or two in Queens. It's nice to see them expand across state lines! The location in Ridgewood is clean and bright. There's just enough space to grab some cookies and be on your way. The cookies are thick, delicious, and best eaten when fresh/warm. Chip also likes to keep you on your toes as they keep the cookie flavors rotating every week.

A newer dessert and coffee spot in Ridgewood located right next to Playa Bowls. The cookies are a must try, whether a snack or a sweet treat you will not be disappointed. The service is extremely friendly and helpful! The inside of the shop is super cute and colorful. I ordered the Lemon poppy seed cookie and blueberry cheesecake cookie. I recommend sharing the cookie as they are dense and super filling. The blueberry cheesecake had fresh blueberries and a delicious cheesecake gooey center. The lemon poppy seed had the perfect crunchy exterior with a delicious lemon tart filling inside. I cannot wait to try the other flavors of cookies and coffee here!

Beautiful location with delicious cookies. When you walk into the store you are greeted with the smell of homemade cookies. I love how the flavors of every cookie changes every week. 10/10!

"C" IS FOR COOKIE AND COOKIE IS FOR ME! This place is Cookie Monster's dream! Warm morsels of scrumptiousness with a consistent line up of amazing flavors, a seasonal rotation to keep you hooked and a star surprise for the week that is dropped on their Instagram site that is not to be missed! We got to enjoy the Red Velvet Hot Chocolate (filled with chocolate pudding) and the surprise star was Teddi-Fetti featuring Teddy Grahams! The perfect Saturday evening treat to cap the week! The bakery shop is fun, cute and a slice of happiness. The service was tops! Autumn was fantastic! Thank you Chip City for brining a little ray of sunshine each and every day! PS: lookout for a place near you, there's one in Rock Center that calls to me daily!

Had seen a post on social media about Chip City opening up in Ridgewood and decided to pay a visit after seeing post of their delicious cookies. When you walk closer to the entrance the sweet smell of freshly baked cookies hits you in the face-- you cannot help but smile when you smell cookies. We were welcomed in by Brian as he was helping other customers. We looked in the display and all the cookies looked soooo good! They have a weekly cookie menu and this weeks consisted of white chocolate macadamia, pb&j, s'mores, chocolate chip, horchata, and crumbdiddlyumptious. While we waited for our turn we visited their photo booth station and made a fun Chip City gif. Brian took our order and decided on the deal for 5 cookies and one for free and he got our order together fairly quickly! The cookies are generous sizes and some have a filling in the center. They had a small seating area but had taken them to go as more customers had arrived. We first tried the white chocolate macadamia and it was amazing-- nothing beats a warm freshly baked gooey cookie!! We actually had shared that cookie between 3 of us--that's how large the cookies were that we were able to share. We tried all of them and our favorites were the s'mores and horchata. The horchata had a cinnamon rice milk filling inside and complimented the cookie. I will say they do taste best warmed up so you can pop it in the oven or microwave for bit for the fresh baked cookie. I will be back again as the cookie menu changes frequently. I do love funfetti and Brian mentioned that it will be on the menu next week! So I will be back to try that cookie. They also have various hot and cold coffees. I can't wait to see the other cookie flavors.

Truly enjoy every time I come by and visit this location. Not sure of all the other nasty reviews as each time the employees have been nothing but helpful and kind. The cookies are 5.5 oz each and have a gooey center with a perfectly toasted finish to it. The menu changes every Friday as well! It's a fun way to try new cookies and expand your palette. Truly recommend this location for anyone looking for a WARM and delightful cookie. And did I mention a Photo Booth as well? Super cute and a great place for families to spend time together.

No need to head to NYC anymore. Big fresh gooey cookies right here in Ridgewood! I LOVE the PB&J cookie.

There's space to wait for your order too- so if it's cold or raining, there's room for you. They're open 7a-7p which is great. It was busy when I ran in today around 12:45p on a Sunday and that's always a good sign. It looks clean and the drinks I saw looked appetizing. The food menu sounds fantastic. The guy who helped me with my order was super nice. But I actually went in there on the hunt for something specific. It's the 2nd time I went in since they moved to the space across the street from where they were. The first time I stopped in quickly and saw they had what I was looking for but very few so I didn't buy anything. l had done a very difficult and time intensive Google search for Macaron Cafe macarons. They wholesale out of NYC and they're the best macarons ever. There are probably 6-7 places in Ridgewood that sell macarons, some that make them fresh baked. And none are as good as the ones from Macaron Cafe. Pre-covid I could find them locally pretty easily. But now, it's really hard. Most of the places that sell them put up a menu of the flavors that's very easily identifiable, and they carry the full line. By googling a photo of the menu I was able to find them in Fort Lee and American Dream and those are both too far. I'd gone into every single place that sells macarons in downtown Ridgewood except RCC and none of them have them. I finally made it into Ridgewood when RCC is open (we usually end up in Ridgewood after dinner and they're closed) and imagine my joy in seeing the macarons there. I can tell it's them instantly. Except - they only have like eight of the flavors! They don't advertise them. They don't have the menu up either, so they only way I could tell there might be a chance of them being there was an old photo of their counter from Yelp or Google. So, I didn't have any drinks or food. I just bought some macarons. And I would've bought more except that they didn't really have the flavors I wanted. There are generally around 28-32 flavors and they change/add/take away every few months/holidays, etc. My knocking a star is ONLY for the lack of flavors of these amazing macarons and only having a tease amount of flavors of them. And they should advertise their baked goods/desserts better, like in photos on instagram. They don't post enough of all their food. I had to just take a chance and come in from an old photo. I know I don't want to have to drive to American Dream mall for these macarons. And I know the girls behind me in line today were talking about how they came in for tiramisu.

The matcha einspanner caught my eye, but unfortunately the flavors fell short for me. The barista making my drink appeared to be newer (another barista ended up taking over to finish the drink), and the drink itself tasted overly milky with not enough matcha flavor. Maybe it was the whipped cream, but it felt diluted overall. On the other hand, my husband's New Orleans iced coffee was good, and my friends enjoyed their other coffee drinks as well. Next time, I'll skip the matcha and just stick with coffee.

I tried a bit of the éclair and we both agreed that it was the star of the show. I normally am not a big éclair person but this one was so chocolatey and rich. It was filled with this creamy, fresh chocolate filling. I strongly dislike the store bought cream filling that they are usually piped with. Lo and behold, the chocolate dacquoise inside the Spring dessert contained nuts and I got an anaphylactic reaction as a result and needed to take my EpiPen. The bite I had was very yummy but almost took me out so I'll still keep two stars for the baking itself. However, staff NEEDS to know what contains very common and deadly allergens.

We ordered coffee and a spinach feta pastry, which was served cold and tasted stale. Considering we were charged $12 per pastry, the quality was extremely disappointing. The most frustrating part was what happened next. About 10 minutes after we sat outside, another family was seated nearby and was served food from the kitchen without any issue. If the kitchen had become operational again, no one informed us or asked whether we would like to order anything else. Instead, staff repeatedly came to our table with the bill, even bringing the wrong bill the first time, making us feel rushed and unwelcome. The café was nearly empty, yet we received some of the poorest service I've experienced in New York or New Jersey. I still don't understand why we were treated differently, but the combination of poor communication, unfriendly service, and overpriced food made for a very disappointing experience. The Ridgewood Pancakes were very small, but the amount of fruit was appreciated, and the cheeseburger's side salad did not come with any dressing. The side of Truffle Fries were throughly enjoyed, each fry was pleasantly oily, had a pleasant crunch, and were well seasoned. I like that they use Goffle Road chicken and it came out nice and tender. The veggies were fresh and good quality. I also thought the portion size was perfect. I asked for the dressing on the side and the dressing came in two small cups. One seemed to be a mix of soy and oil, I think there was a bit of sesame oil too. The other was a creamy dressing. I was expecting, nutty, sweet and savory dressing, but it was kind of bland mayo like dressing. The dressing would have also benefited from acid like lime juice.
