I quite literally went and asked the folks at the end of the fest if I could buy a container of their sauce, and they handed me some and say they make it fresh in house daily! Finally, the cashier went around to the back (why wasn't my frosty made up front? Why wasn't it in the cabinet marked mobile orders?) and got my frosty. Too much work and drama...for a frosty. Chipoba is one of my go-to spots in town, especially when I want something quick, fresh, and casual. It's not really a sit-down restaurant in the traditional sense, more of a counter-order, pick-up style place, but that works for what it is. The service is consistently friendly, and the staff is welcoming every time I go in. The owner is also very kind and, from what I understand, owns Pandang as well. Food-wise, everything I've tried has been solid. I especially like the sushi burritos and the create-your-own poke bowls. I usually go for the 3-protein build-your-own bowl because you get a lot of variety and it's filling. Just a heads up, adding avocado is usually about $2 extra. I'm also a fan of their boba especially the taro milk bubble tea, which is one of my favorites. The space itself is pretty small inside with only a couple tables, so it's not ideal for dining in. There are a few small tables outside, but they're mainly for Chipoba customers. What I like most is grabbing my food and sitting outside near the park in the center of town, especially in the summer when there's music playing. They are closed on Sundays, so just keep that in mind when planning a visit.
