I drove here because the 3 locations near my home/work are abysmal. Anyway. The staff are only obviously overwhelmed, but they not ONLY gave me fresh rice, fresh steak, and a cup for water.... I got my salsa on the side with an order FINALLY MADE CORRECTLY. shilah, at the counter, was a delight and the bathroom was tidy. I don't typically write for fast food places, but after my last terrible encounter I thought they deserved some kind of kudos at this specific location. This was honestly one of the worst experiences I've had at a place like this. I drove three hours to come here, expecting it to be worth it, and instead it was just frustrating the entire time. My order took forever, and no one seemed to care or even try to help. When I asked for something as simple as the bathroom code, I got told to "fuck off," which is completely disrespectful and unacceptable. On top of that, there were no utensils left, so I couldn't even properly eat what I ordered. The whole place just felt disorganized and unprofessional, and what I saw going on in the back made it even worse. It didn't feel like a normal, well-run environment at all. We placed an order through the app for pick up on a Sunday at 5:30p. Through the ordering process (about an hour because I had to round up everyone's requests), I was offered a 5-10 minute pick up window so the restaurant wasn't dealing with a rush. When I arrived, the restaurant was empty with the exception of a man eating with two children. I counted six employees working. The place was a dirty mess. Trash cans were full. Tables hadn't been cleaned. There was gross stuff on the floor including food, paper, an employee glove and an unknown plastic item. I was so put off, I considered canceling the order. Instead I picked up the food and went to fill the one beverage cup in the order only to discover the beverage dispensers were mostly empty and there was no ice. One employee walked up to get a drink while I was standing there and when I pointed out there was no ice and just soda available, he seemed surprised but didn't make any effort to refill anything, much less offer help to me. Things continued to get worse at home. When we opened our bowls we discovered none of them had black beans... something we consider an essential bowl ingredient. Two bowls were missing additional ingredients. The rice in all the meals was oddly clumpy and cold. Perhaps the worst thing: our chips were stale, We did not eat our bowls. If the restaurant is not sanitary, the food is a risk. This is not the first time I found the restaurant filthy. I had a bad experience in January 2025. I shared my thoughts with the employees and was told the restaurant was busy and they were short handed. That certainly was not the case today. Genuinely terrible service. They don't consistently melt the cheese on a kid's quesadilla. On multiple occasions they've run out of rice or other ingredients and they do not put a sign up about missing ingredients. I barely tolerate it because one of my kid likes this chain in general. I also think the workers are incredibly inefficient to an astounding degree. They don't think about what takes the longest to do or how to minimize wait time. I also think they have inadequate staffing. So running on a skeleton crew with like that produces very long wait times and food shortages. They need a new manager. read more

I don't say this lightly as I've loved Chipotle for a long time. This is the second most disgusting one I've been to. The first was in NYC. Empty containers everywhere, trash on tables, employees using gloves and touching their cell phones and their faces and then using those same gloves for our food. It's gross. Also, the lack of hospitality from the employees is jarring. At least fake like you care about our experience. They need the chic fil a treatment asap. I normally love Chipotle, but the service at this location has become frustrating enough that I feel compelled to leave a review. There is one employee in particular who consistently skimps on portions -- specifically the cheese -- no matter how politely or clearly I ask for more. I'll ask multiple times and still get just a tiny pinch added each time. Today was the last straw. I tried asking for double cheese, and the employee gave me the same minimal half-portion he always does. When I clarified and asked for a lot more, like double the amount already there, he told me I would need to be charged double. I explained that I have never been charged extra for cheese at any other Chipotle location, and he insisted "it should be." Only when I said I would call corporate did he begrudgingly add a few more pinches -- still nowhere close to what I asked for. This isn't about wanting excessive portions; it's about consistency, customer service, and following Chipotle's own standards. Extra cheese has never been an upcharge, and it's extremely uncomfortable to have to argue over something so simple every single time with the same employee. I hope management takes this seriously, because the experience at this location is noticeably worse than others, and it's enough to make me stop coming unless things improve. read more

Food, service, ambiance all need improvement! This was our first time at this location. Here goes... 1) the store was NOT clean - at all. 2) We walked in and noticed a sign that read "Online ordering only". So we ordered online while standing in the front of the store. 3) while waiting for our order, we asked for soda cups, went to the fountain soda area and wanted ICE....no ice, asked an employee for ice and we were told "the ice machine was shut down hours ago to be cleaned". We asked for a refund for our 2 fountain drinks and were informed they "couldn't do that", so we asked for 2 cold soda bottles, the employee obliged (very kind of him, but I think he wanted to get rid of us). 4) queso was supposed to be on one of the bowls and it was MISSING, 5) ONCE AGAIN, we ordered fajita veggies for our 2 bowls and yes, believe it or not, they weee MISSING from both bowls! Seriously?!?! Why is this so difficult????? Different store, same issue!! My last order and review of a different Chipotle location was about 7 months ago and I haven't been back since, until today. Listen, it's a chain fast food restaurant. You need to factor that into your expectations. Usually, I have a mediocre experience -- one thing or another is generally off. But today, I don't know what was in the air. The music was good, the staff were happy, smiling and giggling. Everything was absolutely choice. The chicken was tender, the rice perfectly balanced, the guac fresh and bright. The chips were crispy and salted just enough. The stars have aligned for the best chipotle experience I've ever had. Further, I think this is the best location in the area. When they're busy, there are mixups -- I think that's general chipotle management. These people rock. When it's slow and early in the day, and you're hungry, this is heaven's gate. I want to know who the manager on this day is so I can personally thank them. read more

If I could leave zero stars for this place, I would. When we arrived, the person who first handled our order constantly got our requests wrong and he had to throw out the bowl multiple times before actually getting the order right. The portions didn't fill up the bowl fully, and when we tried to carry the food back to our place, the ENTIRE bottom of the bag was completely soaking. When we tried to lift the bag, it broke and stained the inside of the car and even some of my clothes. This has been happening multiple times, and when we tried to complain to customer service online we only got an automated customer service that wasn't helpful at all. Monday September 6 Th at around 4:20 pm . I walked it to pick up a Grubhub order , I gave the name of the customer, one of the workers told me that it will take another 5 minutes for order to get ready . I went outside waited for good 10 minutes came back asked for the order again . Someone else told me that the order did not come through at all , so I said I am going to cancel the order . As soon as I finished eating that , a worker jumped on my face and told me stop being smart and just leave . When I asked him how I am being smart ?? I have so much to say about this chipotle and none of it is good. I've been to countless amounts of chipotle locations and this one is by far the absolute worst one. For example the other day I went to get a bowl, the white rice was literally plain white rice. No cilantro no lime no NOTHING. The service was horrendous. The guy making my bowl couldn't use his words and was shaking his head like a socially awkward 10 year old girl. Most workers just seem to be miserable all the time and it is so unprofessional. I mean really this place blows the tables are always dirtier than a pig pen and they never seem to have every ingredient at the same time. There's always something that they don't have. I feel like I should be paid to eat at this location that's how bad everything about it is. I genuinely get pissed off when i have to pay $15 just for shitty service, a shitty bowl, and shitty conditions. This chipotle needs a rebuild or they just need to tear it down and build a pancheros or something. If i could give half a star i would. Do better chipotle. read more

I wish I had looked before placing my order. I ordered online - waited an additional 30 minutes past pickup time to be told the order couldn't be made because they were out of tortillas. Portion sizes inconsistent and almost always minimal. Workers are perpetually miserable and the least friendly people you will ever encounter. Online orders are nothing short of scams. I waited 30 minutes longer then I told I was going to have to wait just for a bowl where they forgot the sour cream and gave me ~3 micrograms of guacamole. Slow and negligent for the online orders in particular. Food is significantly worse if you go later in the day. Update as of April 2023: This chipotle location has quality that varies month to month. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's horrible. Right now, it's fine. The ingredients are alright, but the rice is usually dry and crunchy. Also, the guy who they have rolling burritos on some evening shifts absolutely butchers the process, and often means that you should get a bowl since that's what you're going to end up with anyway. I know it's nitpicky, but it is frustrating since it is not a particularly difficult task. Overall, the Ardmore Chipotle is fine this month. Stay tuned for next month. read more

The most terrible experience I've had in a restaurant in a while. I placed my order in the app and went to the pick-up shelf when I arrived. My order wasn't there, so I waited. And waited. Other customers kept arriving, until there were half a dozen of us waiting around the pick-up shelf. After 15 minutes, I noticed there were orders behind the counter. I stepped up and asked if pick-up orders were being put on the shelf, and the employee told me I had to give her my name! Three employees in this store, watching half a dozen customers standing there waiting by the pick-up shelves and it didn't occur to any of them to let us know we had to ask for our orders at the counter or maybe call out a name as they packed up an order?! What did they think we were standing there for?! After I finally was handed my order, the other customers immediately stepped forward to get theirs. We were all waiting for no reason and just being ignored by all the employees! And as she handed me my order, the employee didn't say a thing. No apology, no show of concern, nothing. And to make things worse, when I got home I discovered that not only was my food cold because it had sat needlessly behind the counter for 15 minutes, but my order was incorrect. The sour cream was left off my bowl. And the food I did get was so poorly prepared I ended up throwing most of it away. There were big soggy clumps of cilantro in the rice, and some of the steak pieces were so red that they looked almost raw and unsafe to eat. My chips, which were a laughably small portion of maybe 10 chips total, had no salt. Next time you get a craving for a burrito bowl, drive past this Chipotle and go somewhere else. read more

Review This rating and review is a reflection of this particular location, not Chipotle as a whole. I love Chipolte's concept on quality food, good service and just good food. This location is lackluster on all three. 1) Good ingredients done badly. My lunch of choice is a barbacoa salad. The romaine lettuce was the worst i've experienced in any Chipotle which is usually top notch. Its not that the lettuce was old, it just lacked in the quality that I expected. The rice was under cooked and chewy. The barbacoa wasn't shredded properly. It didn't come apart in manageable pieces but in large chunks. It simply lacked the effort in getting it done right. 2) the employees here don't care. This is clear from their attitude while serving you and the little effort that is put into preparing your food. There is little or no interaction. 3) Just a bad meal. I feel that I wouldn't judge this place as harshly, if i hadn't been to numerous other Chipotle locations that did this so much better. read more

The girl at the line might as well have thrown my food at me and kicked me out the door and the cashier was so impersonable it made me want to just walk out starving. There is never a good reason to half ass your job but with almost 2 hours until closing and considering the fact that there was only 1 person behind me the service tonight was UNACCEPTABLE. To speak the truth I've been here a couple times and never have I been satisfied at all with their costumer service. The one good thing is that I was able to speak to the manager that was out on the floor and he handled my concerns in a polite and profesional way; I can't say the same for the girl that took my order at the line, when the manager confronted her I literally saw her give him the hand and say "Don't even start".
