This is one of my Favorite locations for Chipotle.. I could eat the salads everyday if I lived closer I love the combination of everything together. Every time I have a Dr appt close by I crave this place. The employees are always very friendly, and they listen to how I want it made.There is one guy that is a pro at how he makes them. I don't know what's going on with this Chipotle, but it's a complete mess. For months now, you never know if it's even going to be open. It's randomly just closed during business hours, or there's a sign on the door saying they've closed early, or you go in and they won't take your order unless you ordered online, or, yesterday, there's another sign on the door saying they've decided to close at 7 until further notice. Over the past 6 months, at least half a dozen times I've tried to eat there when you would assume a Chipotle would be open and either it wasn't for no apparent reason or they simply wouldn't take my order unless I had ordered online. I was willing to overlook it at first, but it's just a debacle. Is somebody up the chain at Chipotle going to do something about this? read more

Unbelievable. I get having a limited menu even though water is drinkable now, they're giving it a few days. But serving zero veggies and then charging $7 for extra protein? I saw the new advertisement for the new Chipotle Honey chicken and I wanted to try it, so we drove from Burnsville North Carolina to find a chipotle . Upon entering this location the tables were nasty and the floors were as well. Trash cans were overflowing. I placed a mobile order for pickup at 4:10pm. So this black gentleman comes in off the street comes behind the counter clocks in doesn't wash his hands and proceeds to start slopping my order together while he's on his phone, I proceeded to tell the cashier I didn't want the order due to unsanitary conditions, you should never be preparing food while using a cellphone and DEFINITELY not without proper hygiene. After walking out to the car without the order, I walk back in and ask to speak to the manager who comes up and I tell Her what happened and I ask for a refund as I stated I didn't want the food due to unsanitary issues and she said nothing I can do, call The hotline. She said they were "new" people is why he didn't wash his hands and was using his cellphone while preparing food.I asked for my receipt , because I didn't take the food . What the. Came in at 8:30 pm on Monday. Only after starting to order did I see that the food counter was really dirty with toppings all over/sour cream smeared everywhere. Most of the topping choices were really low in their containers as well. We go to sit and every table both inside and outside is dirty. We sit outside at a dirty table and see that the trash cans are over flowing. They were not too busy to take a minute and clean up the restaurant. The one associate that was bagging up to go orders seem to be prioritizing that over the cleanliness of the restaurant for the patrons that decided to dine in. This Chipotle location seems to be closed more often than it's open. I'm not sure how many times I've driven by recently at 3 or 4 in the afternoon and they've been closed. Today I tried to go again since I'd heard they opened back up. The sign on the door says temporarily closing at 7pm. It was 5:30 and the doors were locked and I could see a few employees sitting at the tables. Great place to eat in Asheville, NC February 2022 saw this restaurant chain open its 3000 stores in the United States with their ultimate goal being 7000 stores in the US. I have been to many of their locations. A Chipotle chicken bowl is one of my comfort foods. They specialize in bowls and burritos with fresh ingredients cooked and prepared where the consumer can see them. This particular one is located on the east side of Hendersonville Road in Asheville, NC at the end of a small shopping center. Parking may be a little limited right next to the store. There are about 20 spaces in the parking lot and more in adjacent lots. It is located in a stand-alone building. The main entrance is on the west side. This has the most windows along one side which makes the dining room very open and bright. I ordered a Chicken bowl (what a surprise. It was quite good and prepared right in front of me. The restaurant was busy and relatively clean for the number of patrons and the number of people present. The price was reasonable for the area (and the times). The staff was pleasant. Overall a very pleasant experience and a place I recommend to my fellow travelers. read more

Due to past reviews I ordered online prior to arriving! It was nice to see that they were taking both online and in person orders! I ordered a quesadilla which was perfect. I also had a side of hot salsa and sour cream which had a lighter amount than I normally receive. Great location! I will be coming back in the future. read more

This is a bit off our normal "could have given my kid more steak" type of review. Third time this month that this store has decided to be "online orders only" during a peak eating hour. While eating at this restaurant, I watched two folks be told they could not be served because "online orders only now" only to watch them serve two young women in person: both before and after the folks who were denied service. I chased down one of the guys to ask what happened because it was surreal to watch them literally turn away two people for no apparent reason. I won't offer my assumptions about what was different about the two they sent away, but we were mortified at the optics. Lost my team's business today. read more

Worst Chipotle experience yet. I'm usually content with my meal at this location (I usually go at nights), but today I went on a Sunday for lunch and it couldn't have been worse. Ooof this place seems to have gone downhill. Ordered on Chipotle's website for pickup, said it'd be ready in about 12 mins and I arrived right on time. It was ready about 17 minutes after that, nearly a half hour for pickup. I could have waited in line 5 times over after arriving and had my food much more quickly that way, but for some reason they insist on making to-go orders at a separate counter at a snail's pace. The food and preparation was also of very questionable quality, with some very wilted lettuce in our salad (and maybe only 7 pieces of it), plus our kids' tacos were haphazardly smooshed into a sheet of aluminum foil. The burrito our other child ordered seemed ok so it redeems one star there. Place needs much better processes and produce. They're not reinforcing wearing masks. Absolutely unacceptable. This is how disease spreads and people get sick. I watched a young couple waiting in line, order their food, and pay. No employee says anything to them about wearing a mask. I understand the burden is a lot on employees, especially younger people. This was my first visit to a long awaited Chipotle in Asheville. I live about 20 minutes away and have anticipated the opening of this location for quite a few months. Backstory - I am a Chipotle enthusiast, who seeks out locations everywhere I travel, I have visited locations across the country, And was previously known by name at the South Miami location which I frequented prior to moving to AVL and I have never been as disappointed as I was today. I was greeted at the front door by a sign saying the location was out of mild salsa, hot salsa, pinto beans, black beans, and guacamole. Not a good start, but I have been waiting so long for a local Chipotle that I decided to eat anyway. There was a long line moving extraordinarily slow and once I made it to the front of the line I was surprised to see that they were using different / smaller containers for my burrito bowl. Strike 2, but continued with my order. My bowl was filled with 3/4 of a spoon full of rice, and when I asked for more I didn't receive but 10 pieces of rice extra (literally) My meat portion was normal, but everything else was very minimal. The flavor was great which is why the location received 2 stars, but the dining room was messy. My already small bowl was only half full and my husbands burrito was smaller than my hand! ( see photos) Unacceptable! I am a size 0 female, and I say this because I generally eat half of my bowl, end up stuffed and take half to go. This time I ate the whole serving and left hungry. I'm writing this review from the drive thru at Wendy's where we're picking up more food to be satisfied. THEY DESERVE NO STARS I've used this chipotle multiple times only Bc it's the only one within close proximity to where I live. This past Christmas I bought a gift card for $30 and went to go use it last week, turns out there was only $20 placed onto the gift card. I go to check my bank statement; and what do you know, the gift card was charged for $30 in my bank statement!!!!! I go to the chipotle to get the issue fixed and a new corrected gift card, they tell me that there's nothing they can do. That I'd need to get in contact with the customer service line. A simple mistake that could be proven and corrected within in minutes. Now I'm spending days trying to get my money back!!! read more

This place is very trendy, so it is packed. However, like the well-oiled machine it is, this is just a semi-illusion- a lot of people get their stuff as takeout and vamoose. Very clean; bathrooms, too. Outdoor seating. Easy-to-read menu. Kids get oranges with their kid's meal. Urban vibe with lots of glass and Ikea decor. "Zimbabwe" was playing while we ate. The employees I dealt with were patient and nice. Prices are not high. You get a lot of bang for your buck (i.e.lots of food). This is how it works: 1. Choose a vessel: three tacos of three types, a massive burrito, a real bowl, or salad. 2. Choose a meat: vegan sofritas, steak, chicken, pork carnitas, barbacoa beef . 3.Choose rice and beans: cilantro-lime white or brown, black or pinto; or fajita veggies. 4. Choose extras: guac (add more money), four types of salsa (or three levels), sour cream, cheese, beans, lettuce. 5. Masticate and be happy. Chips can be bought here, either with guac or salsa. Soda was not watered down. My soda cup had a thought-provoking essay by Neil Gaiman. They do cater. Liquor license was pending as of June 3, 2015. Get there rapido, amigo! read more

We are huge chipotle fans. And since moving to a small town we are 1 hour away from this location which is now our closest Chipotle. We went to this location last night as we were in Asheville shopping and have come to expect timely service, great food, and a clean establishment. We only received good food not great, the service was weird (I'll explain more) and the establishment (which we have been to this location before) was filthy. There was no silverware in the holders, when it was brought to the person working as cashiers attention he told my mother to, "open the cabinet underneath the fountain drinks and get one or put them in the holders," not at all sure how that would be appropriate or sanitary. We ordered chips and queso and paid extra for it.... I had to ask the same cashier for my chips three times. My guacamole which again is extra, I had ordered on my bowl was a entire half of rock hard avocado which was unmashed and still intact as I was finishing my dinner. The restaurant itself was very dirty. Every table was dirty covered in the previous customers crumbs and leftovers. Nothing not one table was wiped down the entire time we sat there. The bathrooms trash was overflowing and there was no soap in the holder. I had to use hand sanitizer. As a whole this will not ruin me from chipotle but I will think twice before returning to this location. read more
