Uh ... I now know that my prior decision was wise. A chain restaurant that has containers of uh food waiting to be scooped into the next pedestrian shuffling by (I watched and there appears to be a Chipotle Shuffle although background music would be nice!). This was my first sampling of the well advertised "Mexican Grill's" "prepared on site" meals and well ... it was not very tasty actually it was disappointing which considering the fact that I had limited hopes for a good meal says it all. What a hot mess!!!! Walked in 645 last Saturday evening. Looked like 5 or 6 people on line to order. NO ONE was eating at the tables. Upon entering to the right to get on line we passed garbage overflowing out of the bins and all over the floor. The eating area was dingy- poorly lit. The floor is not uniformly finished with random patches - looking like renovations were never finished- or never attempted. The table area was consistently dirty - cheese and other unidentifiable food strewn across the tables, seats and floors. I wonder what the food prep area looks like? We didn't want to get close enough to find out. We looked at each other, turned around and walked out. Never ordered anything so this review isn't about the food. I ate inside of this Chipotle just prior to an average dinner time and I was motivated to write this review based on the freshness and portion size. Both were examples of what Chipotle should be: bins constantly being replenished, proper scoops. Combined with efficient service, this tempted me to go all-out during perhaps my third time ever at a Chipotle opting for not only double chicken but also guacamole. I did go in intending to spend $11 as I typically look for value in counter service, so this pushed my total up to $18-not that I have any regrets. Chipotle as a whole could be slightly more affordable to be a reliable option for healthy food, but that's neither here nor there. The store was decently clean, and doesn't feel as claustrophobic as other locations I've seen. I like the assortment of drinks/juices available, which I'm sure are at every store. All-in-all as a Chipotle, this is a location that's operating properly with no complaints on my end. read more

Every time I go the bathrooms, tables, and condiment counters are dirty. Not only that, I've order online multiple times and they explode my tacos with sour cream that it's not eatable. This is the 3rd time they've done it and I've specifically requested LIGHT SOUR CREAM. I gave them 3 chances, and that's it. Employees were EXTREMELY hostile in line. One man screamed at my friend because he didn't hear her say if she wanted steak or chicken, which she CLEARLY stated. Then, the female employee at the register belittled a customer who chose to put soda in their water cup. All it took was a little "please don't do that sir. " yet instead she hollered "UH UH UH THAT'S NOT WATER, YOU CAN BUY A SODA CUP IF THAT'S WHAT YOU WANT!" Even her fellow employees rolled their eyes. She then went on to say that she would never give out another water cup, which I am firstly certain is against the law in this state. On top of this discriminatory experience, they were out of black beans. My homosexual friend was so disgusted by this behavior, that he couldn't even gobble down his CHICKEN burrito. I went into this Chipotle tonight and it added to my previous disappointments with this restaurant. In the past I have felt a stomach ache the day after I ate here and wondered if it was this food. But, it doesn't happen all the time so not sure and I kept coming back. Tonight I got two bowls, one vegan and one chicken, and told the girl I wanted two guacamoles. I got home about an hour later and there was only one guacamole in the bag. I reluctantly went back to the restaurant and asked for my other guacamole. The cashier told me that I actually didn't get charged for the guacamole at all and she didn't realize it before. I said well it doesn't matter, I thought I was charged for it and came all the way back here (I don't live in that area). I expected the customer service to be "the customer is always right" but instead she started arguing with me that I should have paid anyway. Then, she wanted to charge me. I told her she should just give me the guacamole since I came all the way back. She said, "That's not how capitalism works". Well, that is not how customer service works. I usually write nice reviews but when I had the cashier and manager telling me how wrong I was, that is not acceptable. And I did pay the $3 for the guacamole because Chipotle always has good guacamole. The one star is for the awesome guacamole. And yes, like the other negative reviews say, it is always messy looking in this restaurant. read more

Went in to the Chambers Bridge Rd. location this afternoon. Waited patiently in line, ordered, and when I finally made it up to pay, the cashier said, "it's cash only, our computers are down." I asked her if it was written somewhere, but she didn't answer me. I stated that I didn't have any cash on me, and she just responded with an "oh". I understand computers go down, and things happen, but the customer service is not servicing over there. A manager should have definitely put up a sign, or made an announcement to everyone in line before customers waited and ordered. I've been going to this chipotle for over 7 years now and this is the worst it's ever been. Each year the quality of this restaurant goes down and it's so sad to see the state its currently in. The food is always undercooked, old, stale or has been sitting out for way too long so it's dry and cold. The place is very dirty and not kept cleaned. The portion sizes are inconsistent. When you ask for more portions of an item you'll get attitude and told that it'll be "more money" even though you were given fractions of what you normally get. This chipotle was good a few years ago, but now it's a shell of its former self. Hopefully management changes and this place could be good again. I have to time when I go here because the food is only good right when it opens or exactly at lunch since that's when they cook. I rarely eat at Chipotle now since the whole chain seems to have gone bad but sometimes a girl just wants a good burrito bowl. I ordered two bowls, approximately 2 hours prior to my pick up time. Both of them were supposed to be double portions of chicken & one with guacamole (the extra $ for these items can add up). My order was ready on time which i will give them but once i got home i was beyond disappointed. One of the two bowls looked so sad, honestly probably scraps of the end of the batch with maybe 10 pieces of chicken (that's me being nice). It was tiny that not even half the bowl had items, but i guess at least they got the order correct? The other bowl was absolutely & completely wrong. It had tough, rubbery steak instead of did chicken (again with only a few pieces). The order also was supposed to have no beans, guacamole, tomato salsa, & light white rice. The bowl we got was the complete opposite. No rice, no guacamole, EXTRA beans & their hot salsa. I went back to complain but all i received was attitude from the girl at the front, as if i put together the bowl myself & I'm the one who messed up the order. SHUT IT DOWN. read more

The food prep area was clean and staff professional in customer service. We had a burrito bowl and tacos. Both portions were satisfying as to flavor and size. They were ok for a fast food facility. All food is served on paper plates or bowls. The prices were on the higher end of the range. Good spot for a quick dining need. The dining area and furniture does not inspire one to linger. There is never a line when I come here, but I find that the Sea Girt location's food is a lot fresher. I came here yesterday and the beans and meats looked like they had been sitting out for hours. The place itself wasn't busy at all which is probably the reason for it, but it just look unappetizing. I ordered a carnitas bowl and queso and chips for delivery. The bowl was excellent, nicely balanced and tasty. A lot of places will overdo things like rice and beans in their bowls. This bowl didn't seem to have that issue. The carnitas was moist and flavorful. The portion was large enough to give me a light meal for later. That's bonus points and something that makes me likely to order again. The queso and chips, however, left much to be desired. The queso didn't taste at all like real cheese. The texture and flavor made it seem like someone took cheese powder packets from cheap mac and cheese, reconstituted them with too much liquid and added peppers to it. I'm really glad I didn't ask them to add queso to my bowl. That would have made it terrible. read more

Big improvement over the Toms River location, which used to be my nearest. Unlike the Toms River location, the portion sizes aren't too small that it's completely unworth the trip and the money. They give much more generous portions. The staff is unbelievably friendly. And they are very well stocked, I don't think I've come here in a situation where they were out of something or they felt the need to ration portions. In addition, they are very accommodating. I've eaten here with friends and family members who have very serious food allergies and they make sure that they take the proper steps in food preparation and handling to make sure that my friend's safety while dining out is the number one importance and taken care of properly. It's never TOO crowded here either. You can always find a seat. If you're ordering ahead, you can be sure it'll be ready by the time you're here. This is my favorite Chipotle! Every time I am in Bricktown and I am in the mood for some quick food I stop by this Chipotle. They have fresh guacamole and lettuce unlike a few other locations I have been to and they take their time to cook the rice and beans thoroughly so the food isn't crunchy. The chips are also evenly salted and have a bit of lime on them which is enjoyable. The atmosphere is pleasant and clean when I visit, the music is a bit strange though. read more

The only negative comment is that The dining room tables are not well-maintained, someone needs to clean them intermittently.
