90% of the time ordering at this location is completely fine, and honestly great. Things usually run smoothly here. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE Chipotle and this location, but the service I received there last night was some of the worst I've ever seen. I've worked in food service for a few years, so I understand the frustration that comes with customer complaints. However, last night I watched as one of the crewmembers scoffed when a customer asked for a bowl to be remade that the crewmember had offered to remake after adding an incorrect ingredient. There was a desperate lack of problem-solving skills, with this single problem having held up the line, and paused all other customer service. The other customers and I watched as the crewmembers remade the bowl, scraping out the white rice that now had a 20 minute wait time and putting what looked like two dollops of queso into the bowl. When it was my turn to pay for my food, all customer service was paused yet again when the customer who just had his bowl remade approached the counter, revealing his barely half-full bowl. The crew members' responses to this were quite slow, they stood there and looked at each other, taking no action and still holding up the customers' time. There was one apology, yes. Now back to when I was paying... My half-steak half-chicken bowl with a cilantro lime sauce topping came to a total of $15.91, which is the most expensive a Chipotle bowl has ever cost me. The bowl should've been $12.31. When I asked for a receipt to check why the bowl was so expensive, the cashier told me she threw it in the trash. I asked again, and she said it's in the trash, so I simply left. I really care about this Chipotle location because I've been eating here for around 6 years now, and I'd love for you all to use this at your advantage to improve your customer service. read more

All you Kenan-Flaglers out there trying to find something for your next research project, Chipotle is an excellent case study on how to strip a well loved business for parts and make a fortune doing it. Chipotle used to focus on organic, locally sourced and humanely raised ingredients. They used to have quality standards. They used to have clean stores. They used to have lines out the door. It was a big part of their brand. They paid slightly above average and the employees that worked there liked working there (or at least pretended). Enter Brian, the new CEO fresh off a stint at Taco Bell. His package included over 8 million shares valued at $75M. He proceeded to "optimize" by slowly raising prices, cutting pay, cutting corners, cutting quality... getting away from the pesky organic, locally sourced, humanely raised, etc. All this optimization resulted in higher profit margins. The stock price went from $8 to close to $60 when he left in 2024. If you do the math, he walked with at least $500M. He's now moved on to destroy whatever people might still like about Starbucks. Chipotle is left as a stinking heap, waiting to be put out of its misery. You should check it out or order online and bet the under with your on whether they get your order correct. All I have to say is I placed a large pickup order day of and it was ready early when i arrived. The employees helped me get the order right away and everything was correct! Between chipotle and Moes, Moes wins all the way. The taste is way better. For example, the queso: Moes queso is soft and creamy, chipotles is chunky and weird. The steak at chipotle is very dry while the Moes one is juicy so juicy. Also chipotle charges you extra for chips???? And they give you a little ass bag. Hate this so bad. Forgot to mention that Moes warms up the tortilla for the burrito while chipotle doesn't. When I got home, my burrito was ice cold. Also, came in when they were mopping and I had to hold myself back from vomiting due to the stench of the mop water. The worse Chipotle ever. I got to the restaurant at 9:45 p.m. They we're in the middle of cleaning with customers eating and ordering inside. Spraying on top of the food. A disaster. They don't care because they serve college students that usually don't complain about anything. This is my second bad review for this place. Don't even know where to start with this place. The parking situation is so bad I've driven all the way there just to leave in frustration after fighting for 20 minutes over one of their 3 spots. To make matters worse, there is a Panera next door with a huge parking lot that's always empty... but there's a 50 % chance you come back with your bowl 10 minutes later to your car being towed. The fights not over if you make it inside either. You would think that the lady behind the counter raised the chicken herself the way she guards each piece. The cherry on top is that the place is always understaffed and behind on online orders which puts the workers in a bad mood, so don't even think about bringing up how stingy they are. Folk was empty and all I did was asking if she had more folks and she was like "wait a second" in a very cold tone without even looking at me. The food was good and pretty consistent with what I've found at other Chipotle locations. The issue was the service -- there were three of us waiting in line for at least 5+ minutes when there were several workers doing various things, and two who were eating their lunch at a table. The person who helped us was frazzled, unfortunately, and it felt like a very rushed experience. I definitely understand staffing issues today, but hope this location can turn it around. Currently awake at 2 am with severe food poisoning after having dinner delivered from here. I had a bowl (brown rice, pinto beans, cheese, roasted corn salsa, guac) which seemed ok at first, but about midway through eating it I found a hard curved shell which was actually a piece of spinach. It was so dried out it looked and tasted like acorn bark. Obviously I didn't swallow it, but still. After that discovery, I stopped eating. But it was apparently too late. Even though I only had about half of the bowl, I have had nonstop gas with severe indigestion from 8 pm and its is now 2 in the morning. Even though the meals here are supposed to be considered fairly simple and healthy, I would not recommend it if you are sensitive to certain foods or have a sensitive stomach. read more

I have ordered from here a lot, and for a while it was a pretty normal and easy experience. idk who they hired in the past two months that literally has no clue what they're doing but i have gotten the wrong order twice in the past few weeks. like they didn't mess up my order... they gave me a whole other persons order. twice. the second time, had two orders, one of them was some random guys order and the other one was one of our orders, but it had the label of the other one on it. so. when i went back to chipotle i got the order that i already had remade instead of the missing one. Terrible. My husband ordered me a Keto bowl and instead we got steak with lettuce and drenched with hot sauce. Nothing else. First, know your menu and the ingredients that go into your lifestyle bowls. Second, why would you drench a meal with hot sauce? I receive the correct order at this location maybe one in ten times. Even when I check the order, see that it's wrong, ask them to fix it, it still comes back wrong. I like the food but when you can't even get a to-go order right it's very frustrating. Recommend driving the extra 20 minutes to the Fordham location just so you can get the food that you ordered. Very disappointed in this location. I understand that they are meeting the demand of a large group of college students, but it seems every time I visit there is an issue. I ordered carnitas, but someone mixed the Barbacoa with carnitas so that was no longer an option. They frequently run out of chips and water cups. When I asked if I could get a regular cup and fill it with water, the employee said, "sorry I can't do that. Corporate policy". This used to be my favorite chipotle on planet earth. I have been going here for years, but as of recently, this has shifted. The employees are rude. I'm a huge fan of Chipotle! But for this particular location, the portions are much smaller than other location I've been too. Service is decent. The greatest thing about this location is that 1) It's on Franklin St. and 2) they have a parking lot. It's so hard to find free parking on Franklin St. for restaurants so this is one of the main reasons I go to Chipotle more often than other restaurants. read more

This is my usual chipotle, and while the service isn't always amazing, today's visit was the straw that broke the camel's back. I was already upset that the employee who rolled my burrito literally threw the lettuce and cheese at the burrito, ripped the tortilla, was mad at ME that I asked her to reroll it, and then was charged twice because the cashier forgot to charge me for queso the first time. Then I get home, take a bite, & it wasn't even my burrito. I go BACK to chipotle to get it rectified, and the manager was very apologetic. However, while she remade it, she offered no compensation for my time and the inconvenience, or my frustrations. No free drink, no chips, no refund. She remade my burrito then had the audacity to say "it's on the house". It's on the house?? You mean me getting what I paid for is "on the house"?
