I walked in and the people working were yelling at people to pull their masks up while they were barley wearing masks they were hanging under their mouths and noses. If you're ever in the mood for chipotle and this location is the closest to you don't waste your time. take the extra 20 min drive to the Williamsville or the Orchard park location because by the time you get there and back and eat it still would still be faster than the Walden location and taste 100x better. It's a shame that you can't even get Tofu without having meat in it. This is the 4th time I saw rare pieces of beef in the tofu. Being vegetarian I was completely turned off by it. Rearranging the preparation line would be effective. Separating meats from the tofu would prevent cross contamination of animal products. Do better Chipotle I have faith in you! read more

Mobile orders rarely ready without at least an hour prior notice. Might as well stand in the obnoxiously long line with a variety of out of town shoppers (nearby Walden Galleria). Quality is typically good but the mobile orders is free money for an organization like this. read more

This location is always busy and messy. The line workers were doing their best and super fast and efficient despite the extremely busy hour. The counter cashier girl was miserable and was not helping the busy rush. AirPods in, clearly not paying attention as door dash orders we're piling up and drivers were standing waiting for orders for at least 20-30 minutes. We were walk ins and it took at least 15-20 minutes to get our food. Multiple customers told her about the piled up orders and she did not care. Rolled her eyes, whispered under her breath and was extremely rude to everyone. I don't know how she's still working there let alone the cashier who should have some sort of minimum customer service. Food is always good but they are clearly understaffed and the staff that is working there either is working their butts off or not doing enough, don't know how that cashier still has this job. Over the weekend I was out running errands and thought I would get Chipotle. Stopped at this place and as I walked toward the front door my first hint that the place was poorly run became visible: outdoor seating (in February in Buffalo?) was knocked over and randomly piled outside. Inside the dining area was filthy -- neither the tables nor the floor had been cleaned recently. Once I reached the counter, I could see that the grill was black and had not been cleaned in some time. I have also never seen such a disgusting prep area -- different foods were clearly contaminated with food from adjacent prep containers, and the grill looked highly questionable. Realizing this place was unsanitary and there was a high risk I might become sick if I ate there, I left without ordering anything. As another reviewer wrote recently, I doubt this place would pass a health inspection. It should probably be closed until new management can be brought in. read more

Chipotle normally is one of my favorite restaraunt, however here the employees not only barely filled my bowl but we're also extremely disrespectful. Clearly the customer is always right does not apply in this day and age. One employee started yelling at me that I was not allowed to checkout until I had a face mask on, when no one had told me this the entire time my bowl was being filled. She then yelled until it was over my nose as all the employees sheepishly pulled their mask over their nose as they were not following their own "rules". Chipotle the chain has had its ups and downs, so it was interesting to check one out in WNY. I moved here from Austin, TX, where Chipotle battles the local chain favorite, Freebirds, but in WNY, there doesn't seem to be any clear competitor - no, Mighty Taco doesn't count. Across the the Walden Galleria, this Chipotle was very busy and it offers a simplified menu of its Texan cousins. There are only flour tortillas - no choices. And surprisingly, there is no chopped cilantro offered. But aside from that, the fillings were the same - I had a barbacoa burrito while my friend tried the vegetarian sofritas (tofu) burrito. Say what you will about chain restaurants, but they are consistent, and this Chipotle was tasty! I docked one star because on each of two occasions, we found the restaurant to be pretty messy. Tables were not cleared, and the floors were littered with rice and beans - as if people's burritos occasionally exploded. read more

I love Chipotle and as an avid Chipotle consumer I can say that this is a wonderful second location in Buffalo. Yes it's in the suburbs but a lot closer to the other half of the city unlike the one on the boulevard. Anyways, I digress... I love this location MORE than the Niagara Falls boulevard because I find the staff is very friendly and energetic, not to mention there is barely ever a line! Did I mention they give you ginormous portions too? I don't have to ask for more of anything because they're on top of it! Kudos Chipotle employees, you are full of win! Was glad to see Chipotle made it to Buffalo. I actually first had this style of Burrito at Edritos when it was on Elmwood back in the day. When I moved to Vegas I found a Local place there called Zaba's that made them. And it wasn't until being in Vegas for like 3 years that I found out Chipotle was a chain restaurant that did them. All 3 of these places offered the ability to build a Burrito/ Taco Bowl with the same choices. Steak, Chicken, Carnitas or Veggie.... White or Brown Rice... Black or Pinto Beans... Some salsa's...Cheese and/or Sour Cream..Guacamole extra $. If you have never been to a place like this its usually $6 something for one and the Burrito is HUUUUUGE. Full meal within itself. I also give props to Chipotle for keeping up with quality of the local places and their use of hormone / antibiotic free meat, and use of local produce when possible. I mean I am not a big fan of fast food chain places. But Chipotle is definitely quality. I mean I wouldn't consider it fast food, but its always quick to order, so its actually fast. This location was clean, new and modern. Quick as usual and had steak cooked perfectly. I'll be back for sure. read more

This Chipotle is the ****! Seriously, hands down, best Chipotle I've ever been to for sure. Totally owns the one on Niagara Falls Blvd. Owns the ones 400 miles away in New York City. The food is fresh, they're always making more. Why? Cause their portions are HUGE! My burrito bowl is always, always filled to the point they have the smush it down. They also write super cute things on it like "his" and "hers." I think that their peppers and onions there are super fragrant and delicious. I have worked for Chipotle for a little over a year in Niagara Falls, NY, along with my boyfriend whom was a kitchen manager. I absolutely loved it there and still crave Chipotle at least once a week. I usually get it from the previous one I worked at on Military Rd or I go to the on the Blvd near UB. But today, I had some errands to run in the morning and was closer to the Chipotle by the Galleria Mall, me being hungry at 11:39am decided Chipotle sounded great before driving back home. I get there, walk up to the counter to begin my order for myself and my boyfriend's order and the female who approached me begin with "what do you want." In a very rude matter. Me, having previous Chipotle work experience knows that is not how you greet someone when beginning their order. She was very rude the entire way down the line, when we got down to the cold side, she asked what I would like on the bowl, I told her just lettuce and cheese for both bowls, but could I get sour cream, corn and guac on the side for both bowls and one mild and one vinegrette , her response was "seriously you need all that on the side", my response was "yes, I have a 30 min drive back to my house I don't want it to get gross." She rolled her eyes, forgot to give me my sour cream, which whatever I know it's annoying when customers do that but you do not talk to anyone that way. Lastely, I got chips with my one side of guac because that is the only way I eat guac is with chips, and I got home to 2.0 ounces worth of chips, last time I worked there of 2017, it was 4 oz chip bags. They are sticking to capacity but LOCKING the doors so people could not get in or out which is a huge fire hazard. Once we received our order, it was wrong. If your debating whether ordering online or not, don't. The portion you will get through a mobile order is going to be much smaller than if you were to go inside. Never heard of this paticular eating establishment until this afternoon when I received a bogo in the mail for their newest location on Mile Strip Road in Hamburg which is near to the rock that I live under. I also did something unheard of, I orderred online. 2 firsts for me today. The final product, well everything was made the way I asked. The burritos (veggie and carnitas) were FANTASTIC. The pico de gallo was so fresh you could taste the bite of the red onion. The guacamole - I'm an avacado snob - was perfect. Just the right amount of salt and plenty of cilantro and taste. I also orderred the steak tacos. Beef was perfectly done and very tender. I sat here and wondering "why have I not heard of this place?". Nothing tasted mass produced. Everything was fresh and hardy. This place is going to see me a lot more and you will be seeing more of me as I grow to burrito size. read more

There was a 30 minutes wait and they were to busy making the online orders that they ran out of ingredients. I would only order mobile from this location unless you're not in a hurry. They had a short line of customers inside but they were doing 2 or 3 mobile orders to every one customer waiting. You should have dedicated personnel for mobile orders so you don't have people waiting in line. read more
