I can understand wanting to close and clean up on time but with almost an hour until close and you're removing ingredients that need to stay warm is questionable. I probably stood in line for about 10min as the only person waiting to order while coworkers were swearing at each other right in front of me about how they don't like one another and no one approached me to take my order but multiple employees made eye contact with me several times and essentially argued over who would take my order. Service was just very unprofessional and unwelcoming truthfully and i won't be revisiting this location as it seems the workers themselves don't even want to be there nor interact with paying customers; even though it's their job to do so. read more

As I write, I find myself in the midst of a truly incredible dining experience. I placed an order for pickup at 4:25 PM, with an estimated pickup time of 4:40 PM. It's now 5:20 PM, and there seems to be no end in sight. The staff has switched to mobile orders only and are reporting that they are only now working on orders promised for 4:30. I'm waiting with about 20 patrons, most of whom have been here just as long as I have. Morale is low. A young woman just expressed that she is starving. I fear we may live out our days here, looking at our phones and then at each other. It is our commitment to Cali-Mex, and our sunk cost, that sees us through. I'm not certain what the issue is here, but from the outside looking in, I'd suggest a larger team. All the bad reviews are 100% accurate- felt like a massive inconvenience. As they're wrapping up everything, the burrito rips and falls apart. They have to go back and get more tortillas so people go in front of me and it's like everyone's moving in slow motion. And once they get more tortillas, the worker just lets all the ingredients fall sloppily on the new tortilla, letting meat spill off the side. Once I'm ready to pay, I ask for chips and queso, which they reply they don't have any chips- "come back another time." I don't think I will...at least not to this location. read more

This is probably one of my preferred locations for chipotle. The staff isn't chincy with the toppings. Don't be shy with that corn, load me up! For those who aren't familiar, you pick your protein (chicken, beef, steak, pork, tofu, etc) and you pick your vessel (tacos, burrito, bowl, etc) and you select your toppings for your creation as you go down the assembly line. What I really like about Chipotle are the fresh fresh options. There just is a difference, there really is. They have white or brown cilantro lime rice, black or pinto beans, (though if you want both varieties of each they will oblige), grilled veggies, multiple different salads labeled by hotness, corn salsa (YUM), cheese, lettuce, sour cream, guacamole and queso. Pro tip #1: avoid the queso, get the guacamole and ask for a lime or too on the side. Delicious. Pro tip #2: get the tacos and load them up with toppings! An order comes with three, and when you load them up you have a salad left over, of all the things that fell out. read more

I've only tried the chips with hot salsa and guacamole and yuck. The chips have almost no salt and way too much lime.... they either aren't cooked properly or were bagged hot and ended up chewy. The hot salsa has an overwhelming smokey pepper flavor and needs more seasoning ...the guac was also bland and flavorless. This was a one and done for me. Disgustingly dirty in the restaurant dining area so I can't even imagine what the kitchen looks like! It's hard to believe this place can pass a health inspection. The dirt, food and garbage on the floor looks like it has been there for weeks and nobody has bothered to sweep or mop the floors. I was there relatively early, before any lunch crowd, so there's no way it became disgusting in a matter of hours after opening. This is one of a very few locations that has never messed up an order in terms of contents for me. I've never found there to be that much variety between locations in terms of quality; if you like Chipotle, you will probably like this Chipotle. That said, every time I have mobile ordered from this location my order has taken an additional 15 minutes past the pickup time I was told in the Chipotle app. Each time, I have had to ask about my order and suddenly my food is ready in two minutes. Otherwise, it's relatively clean for fast food. Has a fast moving line if you order in store. Plenty of seating and parking available. read more

How much money have you set aside for chips this week? That's known as your "chip outlay". Which is how this place got its name. I think. This isn't Mexican food. Its not awful but it's not Mexican food. Also it's taking over the food scene and putting a lot of good family places out of business so it gets a 1. I had to come in here because my friends love it so much. I was here when I was dragged here by friends. The Burritos are really generic, like any of those college-burrito style places but more brand-ified and predictable. I should mention, I only rate national and global chains on a scale of 1-2. I rate family businesses on a scale of 3-5. Here is why: Would you rather support the local family, or the multi national corporations and the rich men on yachts in the Carribbean? Why are the parking lots of the awesome local places usually half empty (or completely empty)? Why are the chains always so busy? Why can they afford to open so late and get all the TV advertising and all the prime intersection locations? Why are they always in shopping malls? Why go and support Denny's, Chilli's, TGIF, Olive Garden, or the horrendous Applebees? These places have systematically and coldly taken over the national food scene by using the cheapest ingredients, pre-packaged frozen systematic meals that are identical across the nation, overly high prices, rude underpaid servers on way less than minimum wage, and a ridiculously expensive mass brand advertising campaign that gets inside the heads of all the kids and the 20somethings and keeps them under the illusion that if it's not a brand name, it's not worth visiting. They spend all the money they should be investing in food and service, in advertising and cornering the market - the local places can't compete - and someday all we will be left with is the same chains serving the same food all over the world. That is our future. It's the way we're heading and you know it. Every time you eat at a bland national chain, you buy into that, you support that. Boycott chains. Support your local eateries. It's an embarrassment that generic brand national chains are even listed on a proper foodie website like Yelp, let alone getting 4 and 5 stars from so called foodies. I don't get the difference of the two, whether I walked in and asked for it or I asked for it electronically. Either way it's getting made. I am a Chipotle fanatic! The food is fresh, responsibly raised, and they are now shooting for non-GMO as well, so for those who are conscious of such things, this is a great place for you. For those who just are looking for a good, quality, filling meal, this is also the place for you! While the menu is small, what they do, they do well. Chipotle has quesadillas, tacos, burritos, and my favorite, the burrito bowl. You have options in choice of rice, meat, cheese, sour cream, multiple salsas, some vegetables, and guac (extra, unless you order a vegetarian bowl). I love their chips, which they make in house, and recommend those as well. This is a great place for those who do, or do not eat meat. They also have vegan options, so the Meals are customizable for a variety of needs and likes. The down side... They can get REALLY busy. If you are looking to get in and out, I would highly recommend putting in an advance order online, or through their app. I've done this many times before and it works out well as you don't have to wait in the long lines to order. This location typically gets busy, and I've waited upwards of 20 minutes. This trip, it was less than 5 minutes. The dining room left a little to be desired, but the food was consistent, so it was well worth it!! read more

My visit to this Chipotle was a very unpleasant experience. AsI waited in line, the supervisor was barking orders at the staff. There were a number of people waiting for delivery orders. One of them asked a question to the supervisor, who responded by yelling, pointing her finger toward the dood, and telling the guy to leave. It was a horrible response. It made the entire place tense. At least at Moe's they yell "welcome to Moe's!" and not "get the f out!" like the staff here. read more

Definitely one of the better Chipotles in the Buffalo area. We ate lunch here yesterday and found staff to be hard-working, efficient and friendly. The food (guac+chips, steak burrito bowl) was good. Cleaniliness and COVID-19 compliance set this particular Chipotle Mexican Grill apart from many restaurants in that the dining area and restrooms were spotless. COVID-19 compliance protocols were excellent: All staff were wearing masks and gloves and the indoor dining section was closed off. Chipotle is one of the few places that sets off fireworks on my palette. It has delicious ingredients and is always a treat for us vegetarians. I walked in this particular location on a Monday lunch hour. Monday's being Monday's needed something like this to make it better for the rest of the afternoon. Safe to say nothing of that sorts happened; I mean yeah the food hit the spot totally well but then the 2 pm nap time started to creep up on me. I was working in a lab so there was a good amount of moving around and YET my eyes got droopy every now and then. My point being - the food is that good and the quantity is well worth the bucks you pay. The staff was efficient and were quick with their stations. I go into the store she says she does not have any, not a big deal I'll take the regular steak. I then ask for chips and queso on the side, along with queso on my tacos because I really like them that way. She claims she has no queso. Really? You advertise queso, it's a Mexican place and you don't have any? She was very unapologetic and nonchalant about it. The other employee asks my dad if he wants queso after I order. Thought you didn't have queso? Alright. Then what wrapped up this horrible experience all together was the person that was cleaning the grill had their ass HANGING OUT OF THEIR PANTS. In front of all of the customers, pants halfway off with their ass hanging out for the world to see. Not what I want to see when I'm about to eat. Chipotle used to be one of my top 5 favorite fast food places. That has changed quite a bit. Today was my first visit in over a year. The last time I ate at Chipotle, I was pregnant and it raised my blood pressure to an unsafe level, so I had been afraid to eat it again for awhile. We'll start with the food. From the way I remembered it, it was very flavorful, but extremely salty. My favorite thing to get is a burrito bowl with brown rice, black beans, hot and mild salsa, cheese, and guacamole, and a bag of tortilla chips. That was what I ordered today. It was far less salty than I remember, I read that that recently took all preservatives out of their food so maybe that has something to do with it. The food was okay. It was enjoyable but left me feeling like it wasn't everything I had hoped for. The price is getting expensive for what you get. Guacamole is extra unless you don't add meat or tofu to your dish, which is why I always opt for the veggie bowl. I love the guacamole and don't want to pay almost $3 to add a small scoop of it. The service was very average, the girl at the register was nice but the person at the beginning of the line where you order either hasn't been there very long or isn't very observant. My boyfriend asked her if they had a high chair for our daughter to sit in and she answered "no we don't". I then pointed out that there were two high chairs at the end of the line near the register and she replied "oh, I guess we do". Okay... I'll be back eventually, but I'm not in a big rush to get back here. read more

The workers behind the counter were not even wearing their masks over their noses, yet one particularly angry elf kept annoying us.
