This trip to chipotle really upset me. We ordered online and it was 20 minutes behind schedule, there were people stocking food, standing there, folding boxes, etc. Nobody was helping out the people getting food and nobody was served until 5-10 minutes after they'd been standing there. On top of that once I got my food, they forgot my drink, I then got it and boom the drink machine nozzles were removed for cleaning and they all exploded all over me. No warning no signs, and all this chaos was during rush hour. My quesadilla was also burnt at the bottom and so it was less than stellar. They definitely need to manage their time better! read more

First time at this location. I ordered on the app and picked up at the drive through. My food was ready on time which was a plus and the guy at the window was friendly. I tried their queso for the first time and I lovedddd it. It had a little kick with small bits of what hot peppers inside. My only complaint was that the guacamole had large pieces of avocado inside. Do NOT do an online order and request the chipotlane pickup. I ordered my food at 6:37P to be picked up at 7:10P. I got in line at 7:12P and I'm currently 30 minutes into my wait. I get wingstop delivery orders faster than this. I'm not sure what the point of ordering ahead is for if the food still isn't going to be ready. 4 cars were ahead of me when I pulled up, 2 got their order and 1 just left the line altogether. This is despicable service. Edit: 7:45P Got out line and went inside for my order. Staff was very curt. I had to wait another 10 minutes for the worker to say anything. I was told I could wait another 10 minutes or get in line. I'd rather drive the extra 10 minutes to the Two Notch location moving forward. This chipotle location lived up to its reviews to the tee. Staff was underprepared and seemingly under trained and understaffed; and haphazard in their placement. Service was slow and it was not really that busy. I ordered the special steak garlic gualillo bowl, the steak was not adequately cut into bit sized portions, and by the time the bowl was assembled the steak was a buried afterthought rather than the bell of the ball, which lost all flavor that should have made it "special". As for the assembly line, the prep area was less than tidy, there was grease and handprints all over my to go bowl cover I didn't see anyone change gloves the whole time I was there, and their overall assembly resembled more toward grade school cafeteria lady than a business... Gave them a chance.. maybe I will have another go, but there are better places for faux Mexican. Or just go get legit Mexican.. it's better.. read more

This location doesn't deserve a one star rating. This place is ridiculously sorry. How can you be out of chips and salad dressing for a salad, this doesn't make sense. The Chipotle on Forest Dr is a much much better restaurant than this one. Management at this location needs to be replaced along with the lazy employees. This shows that management is lazy and slothful and customers are spending their money food and no one cares. I have gone to this specific location multiple times throughout the past year and no matter what time.. they are always out of everything. There's never enough rice, never enough protein, never enough red sauce and they most times they do not have chips. The service is okay, nothing over the top because they are just on the clock which is understandable. Always "sorry about that" but it's the same everytime. The environment is okay, the music is too loud to hear your own thoughts.. It makes me not want to return ever because there's never adequate amount of food or they don't put enough and always charging extra. This needs to be fixed. read more

Came here weds about 4 after ordering on the mobile app which told me the food would be ready at 1530. Well my food wasn't ready I ordered 2 burritos and a bowl, 20 minutes later I asked how Long it would the worker informed me that they are short staffed and are behind, understandable. I sat and waited patiently and another 15 minutes go by and still nothing at this point I would have asked for a refund but I was committed and besides kids were hungry surely it can't be toMuch longer......well 15 more minutes and guess who gets their food? yep me, this small victory was short lived once I got home. As I handed out the food and watch the kids take a bite, it was clear by the impression on their face they screwed up the order! Burritos were loaded with raw onion, did I mention onions are disliked and especially raw ones! I visited this establishment today. As a customer who values quality service and food safety I was disappointed with the experience I had. Upon placing my order the employee preparing it dropped some ingredients onto the work area n to my dismay he picked it up n put it in my food container. When I expressed my concerns to the employee his response was "you want me to fix you another order, and our work area is sanitized"(didn't look very clean) but his tone and body language were unprofessional and disrespectful. Despite my decision not to have a new order made his demeanor remained unfriendly and he appeared upset which further diminished my experience. As this was my first visit to this establishment this experience was disheartening. I think it is crucial to maintain high standards of customer service and food safety to ensure positive experiences for all customers. read more

I wasn't going to post anything but I cannot allow anyone who chooses to read reviews to be uninformed about the poor service at the Killian Road location. There were plenty of employees there. The young man serving the drive through seemed very busy but inside was the opposite. I waited alone for a time and then a line gathered as the person working the front counter lazily walked past me to get a box of gloves, then back, away again to get some containers, then back, and finally she greeted me. At this point I have watched three other employees doing nothing. One walked by drinking a soda, the other standing by the grill and another emerges from the back unbothered. She gloves up and takes me order and finally I think I'm going to leave...NOPE!! She sits my food at the edge of the serving station and proceeds to take every other order behind me...(with the same gloves never mind the implications from cross contamination) Then, after several more minutes finally she comes to cash me out and flatly says, "sorry bout the wait". So, don't go hungry and plan to wait. Chipotle on Killian Rd, thank you I probably lost a pound or two in line. read more

WORST CHIPOTLE EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! I've been a regular chipotle customer for years and the Killian road location in Columbia,SC is the absolute worst! We ordered cheese quesadillas for our two kids. Instead of the kids meal I wanted a regular size cheese quesadilla for them. I was informed that regular size cheese quesadillas were only available online. This was very confusing to us since a regular size quesadilla can be made the same way as a kids sized one. They refused to make this for us saying that they had only one quesadilla maker that was on the "online order" side. A quesadilla takes probably 30 seconds to a minute to make and the quesadilla maker was right near the cash register so we are still unsure why our request could not be accommodated. They said we could order them online and do an in-store pickup. I did end up placing and online order for 2 regular sized quesadillas. 30 min later my kids FINALLY got their food. The staff was rude and unprofessional. The dining room was filthy with trash all over the floor and tables. There is clearly a serious management issue at this location. Our experience was so bad we will not return to any Chipotle location in the future. Such a disappointment. Do better Chipotle. read more

I tried them several times and always faced a problem like, they didn't have lids for the bowl, ran out of lime juice for the rice, no cilantro, no brown rice, HARD white rice, no chicken. And I avoid peak times because I hate Killian traffic. There is no reason for the store to always be messy in the kitchen and waiting on chicken and or rice. They don't even apologize for the inconvenience, like it's my fault for even coming. Just go the one in Forest Acres. This chipotle costs a little more and they don't give proper portion sizes. SN: they probably built this one because corporations track zip codes and they saw "our zip codes" eating at other locations and built this on. This location is horrible. read more

So this is my 3rd time having an issue. I order a large guac and chips on the app. That's it. Pick up at 6 pm. I arrived at 6pm. They didn't have order ready or the girl couldn't find it. Then she came back window and asked me some 3 x times. Mind you all I had was a large guac and chips. She brought me a bag and it was a small guac and small chips. I waited til she came back I said I ordered and paid for a large guac and chips. She then made a large guac I left just to realize I had a very small bag of chips. Never again. This location needs to get it together. There's been a couple of times where the meat was left out of my burrito, bowls, and then, if it does have everything that you ordered, it is flavorless. Also, do not order online to pick up in the drive-through for convenience because they will not have your food ready, or anyone else's actually. They're bad about just fixing the food as the car gets there for pick up and it backs the line up. I had food ready to be picked up at five and then when I finally got to the window at 5:40, my food wasn't even ready. Zero stars. I have ordered from here a few times just trying to give it a chance. On numerous occasions, we have ordered simple meals on the app only to have something completely different in our bags. I don't understand how an order will have certain items verbatim that are supposed to go on an order and you still put whatever in the order. I ordered a bowl with one meat, rice and black beans. I received a huge piece of fat rather than meat, pico and cheese. Please consider reviewing orders carefully. Some people have a certain way of ordering because of food restrictions. Personally, I do not add cheese on my items because of dairy restrictions and to come home and find something I didn't order was infuriating because this is a common issue at this location. read more

Walked into the men's restroom after the person who was preparing food. There was urine on the toilet seat and in the toilet. Sink was dry indicating he didn't wash his hands nor is he concerned with keeping the restroom clean. This is the person that prepares the food. If doesn't care about washing his hands imagine how he feels about the preparation of the food you are eating. read more

When first opened this was great, we order on a regular basis, my wife has celiac and they are able to accommodate, then every other order we got was wrong, food made so that my wife couldn't eat it, and trying to get it fixed was always a nightmare, tonight we order and we get 1/2 correct and the other half was someone else's food, the half that was correct had hair in it, I know places are short staffed but everything I go In there's plenty of staff, they just don't pay attention, we have gone from order 3 times a week, to now not ordering anymore after today.
