I try to be conscious of the fact that there are employee shortages and food shortages. I ordered A salad via DoorDash, went to pick up my order to find out they're out of the vinaigrette dressing. That was disappointing but not a deal breaker. The dealbreaker was how disgusting the store was. I have never in my hundreds of times being in a chipotle, seen such an awful, dirty establishment. Everything from the windows to the floor to the pop machine to where they prep the food. The employees all looked overworked and miserable, and also dirty. At this rate, probably best to just not be open until the store can be clean, safe, & happy. I took my food, as I didn't want to have the poor employees deal with a refund. I did take a couple bites, but I just couldn't eat the rest of my food knowing what I just saw. Not to mention it was drowning in sour cream, & I love sour cream. This has to be the slowest Chipotle in the Midwest. I kid you not, during a typical 10-20 person lunchline, it can take 25 minutes to get to the glass. The issue seems to be management because they only have two people working the line...one of which took 2 minutes to roll a burrito 5 times. Let me start out by saying that this location is fairly convenient for my family so we keep trying hoping things will improve but after this time we're done. They only accept internet orders for pick-up so you would think they'd be good at it but nope. Napkins, straws, silverware almost always absent as well as the juice boxes that are supposed to be included with the children's meals. Orders take 3 times as long at this location than just about anywhere else. Even when you can SEE 4 staff members standing around chatting with each other while you wait for an order that was supposed to be done 20minutes ago! This last time 2 of the 3 guacs we ordered were placed in the bag UPSIDE DOWN with lids only half on resulting in giant mess not to mention wasted guac. The same was true for the black beans that came with my daughter's meal. You ever tried convincing a child to eat a quesadilla soggy with black bean juice?! Nope this place is hopeless. At this point I'm afraid about the only solution is to fire the whole staff, ESPECIALLY ANYONE IN MANAGEMENT OR IN CHARGE OF TRAINING STAFF, and start from scratch. read more

Ok. The food is amazing as chipotle is, and they are usually happy to give you a little more without charging you. Everybody complains that this is the slowest location ever and it is terrible etc. Everybody needs to shut up and realize that the line is out the door 75% of the day, and you can usually get to the glass in 10 - 15 minutes even when there are 30 people in line. I know that sounds bad, but this restaurant serves probably 500 - 1000 people everyday with a college and huge shopping area nearby. Consider that and take some Time to realize the staff is extremely efficient and as nice as can be expected of people who are this busy all the time with demanding people lined up out the door. Friendly service. Sometimes there is a line but they move people along as fast as possible. The food is excellent. I really enjoy sitting at the outside patio by the water. Very pleasant atmosphere. However if the weather isn't good I take my food home to eat rather than sit in the restaurant where the people waiting in line watch you eat. read more

This place is a joke. Chipotle used to be the only fast food restaurant I would go to as they claim to be GMO free. I went there on my lunch break last Friday and it took over 40 minutes just to make it through the line. Then I pay with a $100 bill and the girl short changed me $20. Unfortunately, I didn't notice until I made it back to work. I immediately called and spoke to the manager who took down my name, receipt number and phone number. He said he would refund me if the drawer was indeed over at the end of the night. I asked for a courtesy call either way so I would know. That was Friday. Today is Sunday. I love this Chipotle. Perhaps I'm bias because it's the closest one to my house, but that's not the only reason. The employees are always very friendly when we go in and they are very patient with my intermediate Spanish. They are quick and always get my order correct and made perfectly every time. They also go out of their way to suggest options for my picky children and it's never pricey. This location is also great because of the scenery. They have a patio that overlooks a man made pond and you can often sit out there and watch the ducks in the pond and that, to me, really makes the dining experience. read more

They wash their hands, change their gloves and make sure the burrito bowl never touches the serving line. They take ingredients from the back to ensure there is no cross contamination. I absolutely LOVE Chipotle, but I loathe this location. It's always messy, slow, etc. We were close by tonight and very hungry, so we stopped. The line was almost to the door, but most locations are good about keeping things moving, so we took our chances. We stood in line for over 20 minutes. The line didn't move away all for the first 5 minutes. We almost gave up several times, but decided to stick it out. Finally our turn. We ordered 3 burritos, knew exactly what we wanted. The girl was fast and efficient in warming the tortillas and getting the rice, beans etc. in place, then they say there... There were 3 burritos ahead of ours that hasn't been salsa-ed yet. I don't know what the hell the salsa girl was doing, the cashier was just standing there. We almost walked out twice while in line after our burritos had been started. The first girl stepped up and tried to get the salsa on the burritos when some guy finally (after 5 minutes) came out from the back and started ordering people around. He took over the salsa duty. He was fast but he wrapped the burritos sideways!! I'm sorry, but it's not that hard. Fillings are added in layers, if they aren't wrapped in the same direction all the meat is at one end and everything else at the other. He also wrapped them all horribly so they were a mess. Normally I'll make due the best I can, but two bites in and they started falling apart. My kid and I ended up dumping them in the basket and using a fork. The floor was dirty, covered in food bits. The tables were all dirty and covered in food when we arrived. One of the counter girls came out and wiped down a few tables, but not all. This location is always a mess, slow, one of the lower quality locations I've been to. This review doesn't even come close to expressing how mad/irritated I was when I left. I got the same thing I always do, every time, yet this time I'm left terrible heart burn, and a bit of a stomach ache. If you want a good Chipotle experience, go to the Silver Lake Rd. location. This used to be a good chipotle in terms of flavor and service. I stopped by today with my kids and the server who seemed to be of Eastern European descent (judging by her accent) was so rude. I was the only person in line at the time and she was scurrying me through and inattentive to what I wanted. She messed up one of my orders and when I told her I didn't ask for fajitas in my bowl she rolled her eyes. I assume she was the manager because she told one of the employees to go on her break. The food was flavorless which was shocking to me because I live in the area for 7 years and always came to this location and loved it. It wasn't the same this time; maybe it's coincidence, but I won't be coming back. There are many better chipotle restaurants all over. read more

I will never go back two weeks ago both of the meals had raw chicken, and tonight the guacamole was brown, the chips we're stale and my son's fruit was smashed and rotten. I talked to the very rude gm on the phone and he told me I should think more carefully about where I go to eat if I'm getting bad food everywhere I go. I didn't get an apology for the bad food or his managers way of handling things. The food my husband ate made him sick. Stay away from here go to a different location they are so rude and don't care if you get sick or not. However they should be able to keep up with the grilling of the food and the line people should be working vs talking to each other. My first time to eat at this Chipotle. I generally eat at this chain with fear and trepidation because of the national news related to it. Then, from this store I found a wad of hair in my burrito. (Discovered by taking a bite that wouldn't separate. Needless to say, I was disgusted). I called and talked with the manager who told me those who should wear hair nets. My only comment is, obviously not. I won't be eating at this location again, and probably not at any location. This will take a while to recover from. I submitted an online order for two burritos. One of the burritos was for a pretty plain eater. The order consisted of a double steak burrito, extra white rice, and extra cheese. Being that there were only 3 components to be added it was VERY disappointing to get home and see that the burrito did not have any cheese. We've had things like this happen before both ordering online and going through the line. When we correct the staff if something is added that shouldn't have been, the staff becomes clearly irritated and has said before, "so what? Do you REALLY want me to just throw this all away and start over?" I was made to feel very guilty about a mistake that was not my fault. I understand completely the it is an incredibly busy location and understand that things probably get/feel kind of chaotic, but customers shouldn't be made to feel guilty or spoken to rudely because we correct the staff making orders. read more

I recently moved and was happy I was finally close to a chipotle. After reading some of the negative reviews I decided to give this location a try being the only location near my home. From start to finish I had concerns. First I noticed a guy whipping the food prep counter with what appeared to be a pretty dirty looking rag, he proceeded "clean" the counter top while flinging the food that was on top of the counter everywhere. The food itself looked like it had been sitting out for awhile and wasn't fresh. The meats looked dried out and the lettuce was brown and wilted. Not being terribly picky I continued to the checkout. I stood waiting for acknowledgment from the cashier while she fumbled with the register for 5 min. Really it comes down to lack of management and a lapse in hiring employees that care about delivering a quality product. My visit was at 1:00 pm, I would expect freshness after the lunch rush but I was wrong. read more
