I usually love me a great Chipotle. We used the mobile ordering and it was suppo sed to be ready in 15 minutes. After getting there we waiting for 45 minutes. They they ran out of chips and said it would be another 10 minutes so we just left. Got home and had the most plan burritos and bowls I have every. Worst $60 I have spent inn a long time. The Miller Hill Mall location in Duluth was turning people away telling customers one at a time that it was online ordering only, so I grabbed Five Guys burgers and went home. If it stays that way I can eat elsewhere I suppose. A large part of the appeal for me was being able to look at the ingredients and deciding what I wanted based upon how the food appeared that particular day. I'll miss Chipotle if it's not in-person ordering, cause not gonna do online ordering from them. If I would give a zero rating if I could. Had to order online once at Chipotle. Waited 45 min for food that was promised in 15. They didn't have tortilla chips that I ordered. Heard one of the servers snap at a customer for asking for her tortilla chips. Had to call a number to get a refund on the chips instead of them reimbursing in store. Slow as hell. Order placed at 4:37pm, got there by 5:10pm, it's almost 6pm and still no food. The workers are very slow. I watch them take about ten minutes to do an order. It's during COVID and they have 31 people in the restaurant waiting for there food. No dine in available but there is way too many people in a small area. Employees pour their own attitude and thoughts on customers. I understand times are tough for restaurants but that does not mean the employees can express their frustrations on eager customers. They don't clear ice in front of the door. The food has "run out"??? Many of the times I've been there. Once was at 4 PM. I simply made a yelp to give this location a horrible review. From the store cleanliness to the obvious process deficiencies, this Chipotle location is grossly mismanaged. The jovial staff can be seen fooling around and not making orders, while a dozen people are waiting for their food. Of the three times I've been to this location, every single time my order was more than 20 minutes late. The dining area and the food prep area are visibly dirty, and this seems to be a relatively low priority. This location is in need of some refreshed leadership. read more

This is a small place but big on customer service. After up driving to a couple closed fast food places we found this Chipotle by Miller Mall. The young people working on Father's Day were super nice and accommodating. When I mentioned I had a ways to get home the cashier put extra foil on the food and wrote names on who's burrito was who's. At least in person the service was perfect. read more

Gave me the wrong burrito,, ordered steak and rice, got pickled jalapeno and sour cream. They also missed the chips. Had ordered online and order was completely incorrect. Showed up and the line was very long but thought the line would move fast. Started to notice they were working on way more online orders than people in line. Then I started to notice a line of people waiting for there online orders so they were pretty much only working on online orders and the line kept getting longer but was not moving. Waited in line for 1hr and then we were going through the line and guy accidentally put corn in my girlfriends bowl and she said I didn't want corn and they guy working was like oh I am sorry but never did anything to fix the fact there was corn in her bowl. read more

I came here with my boyfriend & his brother last week. We ordered ahead so we could grab our bag & go. Not only was it missing the drinks but it was missing one our of the three burritos that we had ordered. We sat & waited while they made it, got all of our items & left. Today, my boyfriend & I ordered ahead again, it wasn't ready until 15 minutes after it was supposed to be. We waited & when it was ready we sat down, ate & after my boyfriend finished his burrito, he realized, there was NO meat in it. He had ordered a carnitas burrito & there was no carnitas in it at all. We love chipotle but sadly, we have low expectations for this particular one after continuously messing up, as similar things have happened before these two. I went to this Chipotle location for the first time on December 22, 2014 about 20 minutes before closing time. There was no line, and only 2 or 3 tables occupied. I was extremely impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the employees. Even though it was close to closing, they made sure we had freshly made food and didn't make us feel rushed. The portions and quality were what you'd expect to get from Chipotle. After we had been served and were wrapping up, (we had leftovers to take home) they offered to get us containers and a bag to carry it all. I love Chipotle. This will not deter me from returning. I love the food. However....... I realize that this is a new Chipotle location and there is probably a bunch of newbies and there are some kinks to work out with a new staff etc. As I was waiting in line, which is out the door and usually is or close to in every location. I was thinking they must be short staffed. I did see a help wanted sign. Oh, there are three employees on break, oh yes they are returning this will make the line pick up, sweet! Nope. Are they short on food, are they out of chicken or flour tortillas? Maybe they don't see the line out the door. Maybe they forgot about us.... Is everyone on break? I finally realized as I get painfully closer (snail pace or turtle) that this didn't seem like the usually Chipotle team. The front line consisted of three people. Let me repeat that....three people. What? Yes! I know right. I would not have been sooo irritated if they were the only three employees working. BUT there were 5 maybe 6 people right behind the three on the front line. You may ask, what were they doing in the back, why are they not helping, do they know we can see them. I am not 100% what they were doing. They kept coming up to the front line to check and replace half full food bins. The supervisor, was doing.....not sure. They had one girl taking out the garbage. Another moving equipment around. They looked like they were doing things, but did these things need to be done right now? However, in my opinion they were not taking care of what was staring them in the face. I felt it was mismanaged and I am in management for a large corporation that is known for hard work and efficiency. I wanted to jump in, I wanted to help. I wanted to eat. This place literally sucks. I ordered twice today both online orders and both were so wrong. First time, the bag was all ripped up they put 3 different items in my bowl that I didn't even ask for. Second time I ordered tacos -hard shell because I'm allergic to flour shells, and a salad because I wanted the vinaigrette. Great start! I don't agree with the fussiness of some reviews on here. I've enjoyed the staff and stood behind clueless customers who didn't know how a chipotle works. I have had nothing but good experiences - but have stood waiting for someone in front of me to have everything explained even though it's right up there on the board. The food is always good too. I've been to the Duluth one 6 times now. I should also add that the taste and quality of Chipotle burritos kick Qdoba out is the area. No comparison. Not even close. read more

I wish I could give this location zero stars but I was highly dissatisfied with my experience. I ordered through the mobile app and when I went there I was told by another customer that they were kicking people out bc there were too many inside. So I had to stand in the rain for ten minutes while I saw my order sitting on the table. They need a better system for the pickup/curbside service. I have ordered pickup from this location many times and it has never been wrong. I ordered tacos l, two burittos and chips with queso. I grabbed the bag and headed out to my car. I live 20 min away so I needed to make it home however I never checked the bag. Instead of burritos we got the burrito bowls and even though the stickers on them were right. Everything in them was wrong. The only thing that was right was the chips and the tacos. The queso was put on top so it spilled all over the bag. I don't know who they have putting the orders together but seriously where is the quality control???? I don't know why it would be okay to put a sticker that explains in detail what it should be but give us the wrong stuff. I should have taken my business to a local restaurant or Qdoba they never do me wrong. read more

We have always loved Chipotle, and are trying to be forgiving of restaurant hiccups during COVID, but we have had two terrible experiences with this location. Both times we waited 45 minutes past our pickup time. As an added bonus, this time much of the rice in our burritos was not cooked (I'm talking, rock hard grains of rice), one of the burritos had no seasoning on its uncooked rice, and the completely unmelted cheese on the tacos made it apparent that they had never been warmed up at all. Boo! Worst Chipotle in America. Here's how it all went down: I go in around 3 pm with a line out the door, no big deal... wait in line for literally ever while the employees are loudly trying to remember how queso works... anyways, it's almost my turn and the boy ahead of me wants a steak burrito. The girl who it seemed to be her first day takes a break from hitting on the kid who's excited that she's closing tonight because he can do it, "so fast, like so fast" to hop on the line. She gave the guy literally 6 pieces of steak and when he asked for more she gave him 2 more chunks, then said more is extra, when we got to the front his guacamole got comped because the last guy on the line said "uh, there's no steak on here..." anyways while they were making mine she tried to flirt with the line guys by stopping everything to claim she didn't know what to do at shift change and the guy didn't take the bait and just said "just keep working" because obviously she was closing.... anyways, I got over charged for something I didn't even say I wanted, whatever. I got it to go and the carnitas literally tastes like canned tuna and the brown rice is still hard. Shut this place down. The reviews are all bad but they obviously don't care. Yuck. Terrible curbside pick up service, placed my order at 6:45 said it would be ready at 7:15 , order was never severed I left at 8:10 and when I asked for a refund I was told no, I just sat in there and waited the entire time while they were doing everything else, the worst part of it is it was all vegetables, so I wasn't even waiting on anything to be cooked, just a veggie bowl! Manager was yelling at customers because everyone was crabby about there 45+ wait minutes times on single bowls and burritos! Extremely rude staff and they were just flirting with the customers. We waited a ridiculous 45" in line with only 15-20 people ahead of us. We should have just left but we drove 25" out of the way to come here as this is the best veg/vegan fast food option for our family when we are traveling. They were clearly short staffed (4 employees). They would serve one or two in line and then focus on a backlog of online orders. (And we noticed they were 20-30" behind filling those too. They ran out of several items, and seemed to busy to fill, or delaying the line further when they did fill some necessary options. We love Chipotle, as it is consistently good in terms of quality and value for fast food, but the service issues and major delays were a drag. I felt sorry for the staff. I went into this location last night around 8 o'clock and to my surprise, it was not very busy. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a very nice young man with dark brown hair, i've seen him at this location a couple times and he is so nice and friendly every time! Everything was going great, he was paying attention to my two separate orders and was very fast. Once we got to the salsa and veggie side, some lady with brown hair approached him in the middle of my order. i'm assuming she is the manager but she was not friendly. like at all. now switching people on the line for the veggies at chipotle is normal, this lady interrupted my order and demanded the nice worker i had go to the dish immediately? while in the middle of my order, we were seriously almost done. i found this to be very unprofessional as he could have been sent back to dish when my order was done. She then messed up BOTH of my orders with wrong veggies in each. I'm not picky so this was not that big of a deal but it was not to my preference. After i got to the cash register and there was another very nice gentlemen who must have been new, we had a very friendly conversation and when I had asked for a large bag of chips, he mentioned he was training still and would be right back with a bag of chips and promptly got them for me. the two very nice boys made this experience SO much better. the lady completely tanked the experience. overall this is a very clean and nicely located chipotle , there is a lot around it and just a quick drive from downtown duluth. i hope you run into the two nice boys, i hope you do not run into that lady. :) have a nice time! read more

We ordered using the app and our burritos were ready 1/2 an hour past the given pick-up time. When we opened them up to eat, the rice was undercooked and pretty much inedible. Our orders have been either wrong or late the past few times we've gone there. As Chipotle fans, we are sad to see this location going downhill, and will probably not be back. read more

Chipotle is by far my favorite fast food restaurant. I have been to probably 20 and this place is a disgrace to the chipotle franchise. I don't know why I continue to come back to this shithole after being let down time and time again. No matter what time you go here don't expect them to have all the ingredients. They are usually missing one or two and I've even seen it been a majority missing before. They are also the slowest workers ever and always understaffed. The worst service ever! Ordered on line, picked a time for pick up. Went into the store and order wasn't ready. Not only that, one employee walked past me several times and never said a word. Finally asked how behind they were. Over 45 min behind at a fast food take out!!! Why doesn't the website say that or even the email. If I had known, I wouldn't have ordered!! When I asked for my money back or change to delivery, I was told no. I can't believe in this day and age, when technology is everywhere! The restaurant can't or won't refund money. I was told by the manager that if I used the customer service, they might offer you more. Why would I want more, when I couldn't even get one meal!! The customer service really needs to be worked on. If I could give this Chipotle negative stars, I would. My husband and I love Chipotle but this particular restaurant is the worst. We've given it the benefit of the doubt 4 times but this past visit was the last straw, we will not be returning. The restaurant is always dirty, tables are never cleaned, soda machines don't work, they haven't had chips the last 3 times we've been there and this last time, we were there 30 minutes before closing and near the front in a long line of people and when we got to the counter they had no fajita veggies, no pico salsa, no lettuce and no chips. That's just the items we wanted that they were out of so who knows what else they were out of. The kitchen was shut down when we got in line over 30 minutes before closing so they weren't prepping any food for the 20 people left in line. I'm sure we weren't the only dissatisfied customers that evening. Such a huge disappointment. read more
