Use to hate this place about a year ago. Service was terrible, food not adequate and unclean seating. Must say it's refreshing to see they have worked on it a lot. One of my major complains of this place was the shortage of the food when it hits 9pm, and the unwillingness of the staff to get it refilled (they were always out of guacamole or fajitas). This has certainly changed. I m writing this review without even eating my food, that is how much impressed I m with the changes. The staff has changed, food more than enough. Saw the guy just refill guacamole (really surprised) and the tables are really clean. Big hand to the manager for implementing this. I don't believe the taste of the food will change, as I have always loved Chipotle chicken bowl. Had a talk with the guy on the billing station, and he mentioned the manager wants to make sure people like this location again. They want to hear out the people. There's currently a line out the door and one person taking orders while 3 other people are standing around chit chatting. This is after one of them spent a full two minutes tying her apron and putting on gloves while staring at the line, just so she could go talk with her friends. Burritos going out are sloppily rolled with ingredients spilling out from the tortilla. This is what happens when you let high schoolers work without a manager. read more

This is the worst chipotle I've ever been to. Workers were apathetic, and the manager interrupted a customers order to tell a worker something. My chicken was crusty and hard like it was sitting there for way too long. The only part of the meal that was decent was the side of guac. I usually eat chipotle 2-3 times a month, but I will not be visiting this one again. read more

I went into this location on 9/26/19 it was 8:50 pm they close at 10:00 pm and i wanted A steak fajita bowl and as always around this time they are out of veggies and im told that they will not be making anymore for the night and this is not the first time it has happened it just like if you come anytime after 8 you only get half of the menu read more

I think this place must have went through a management change recently. I am not one to post reviews, but the multiple poor experiences I have had in a row at this location truly earned it. I love chipotle and go to many, but I've given this location there last chance. Mess up every order I've done online(5 times), food is always cold, portions are terrible, restaurant is a disaster. Last time they charged me for the customers food that was in line behind me and put her stuff in my bag when I wasn't paying attention. I will be taking my business elsewhere until they get things straightened out. I won't be the one going there to find out. read more

This Chipotle had one worker who was actually taking orders, while another stood by the cash register. We waited for 20 minutes to get our food, and we were 3rd and 4th in line. As soon as I got to the cash register, the worker went back into the kitchen to do something else. I was very frustrated with this location and will not be coming here again. read more

Ordered online. Potions were lacking. There was no salsa on my bowl. No veggies. It looked like a watery mess of rice. I had to ask for the chips that came with my order. Left the store to enjoy my meal at a park. Not even five minutes later and my food is stone cold. My pick up was for 3:30pm. I arrived early at 3:15pm. I think they made my order the second it came in at 2:30pm. Really guys? My chips were also chewy. I have never had such a poor experience ordering food online. Your store was not busy. read more

I just got back to my office after picking up barbacoa soft tacos. When I opened them up, the meat was cold. I've gotten these before and have never had anything like this. It's not possible that they suddenly got chilled on the trip back to my office. I would have figured that you would be extra vigilent of potential food born illness these days. read more

This place is your standard Chipotle. I found the service to be fairly fast during the lunch rush, and this location has a good selection of seating (outdoor patio, indoor "sunroom", and your traditional indoor seating of modern minimalist style). read more

I've had Chipotle many many times, mostly in NYC and San Francisco. I'm in Edina visiting family and we decided to order via the ios app. We picked up our order of 10 meals to go and opened them up when we got home. Most of the orders were completely mangled, missing meat!! Unforgivable. read more

The people working the counter were very rude. They were rushed, and made you feel like you were an inconvenience, not a customer. I also overheard them talking about the party I was with and laughing with other customers. Like I said very rude. I won't be visiting this location again. read more

So while I gotta say the chips are hit or miss (either overdone and sufficient or perfect but the bags are half full) this place does have great service and I am on first name basis of many employees. They work hard, the food is good, they are usually short staffed so sometimes online orders or dining room cleaning isn't done. But I have noticed two managers that in front of customers exhibit inappropriate behavior. A female manager I have seen berate, belittle, and bully employees when "correcting" them when she is on the line she chills be the cashier instead of helping the one or two employees on the line. I have seen another manager do a cashier order, turn around, face the kitchen door, and text. Literally texting away as the garbage fills and dining room is dirty. MANAGERS, PLEASE carry your own weight. You have an awesome team grow up your team is underperforming and people aren't showing up because you're trash leaders, unmotivated to work, and mediocre managers. I don't want to see you being rude to your employees or blame them and be jerks in front of me take that to the back. But I'll give a 4/5 for the awesome crew ;) read more

Being a Chipotle addict, my husband and I have tried nearly every location in the Twin Cities (I am NOT exaggerating). This one is top notch...absolute favorite. The staff is friendly and FAST (even with a line clear out the door it typically takes five minutes to get our order), the restaurant is clean and the food is fantastic. read more

After a long line waiting I was pleasantly surprised to see the amazing Frankie Bush leading the chipotle crew to success. His burrito craftsmanship is unmatched and his portions are top notch. I've absolutely love chipotle but have had nothing but bad experiences at the Edina location. This branch is very poorly managed. Often times the line runs out the door with only one person making food while the others stand around and sweep. They have run out of ingredients several times I've been there; On one occasion both brown and white rice. The last time I visited this location I experienced stomach pains from what I'm guessing to be food sitting out too long. Avoid this chipotle if at all possible. read more

The quality at this chipotle retail store is sub-par. The queso is too thick and flour-y...guac not fresh and chips stale. The protein on my carnitas salsa was very slight. The check out counter was full of food scraps. Note to HQ, this team needs more discipline & leadership. My guest visit was the evening of July 5. Richfield store 2 miles away is rock solid. Picked up a take-out order on my way to another city for a business meeting. Got there and half the order was missing. Drove all the way back three hours later to get a refund and they offered to give me the forgotten food. They'd stored it in the fridge for me and everything. I asked for the refund instead and that's all they gave me. Forty miles round trip for that. Just, wow. read more

Terrible inconsistent service, dirty food practices. The server made a burrito for the person ahead of me from beginning to wrap at completion. When it came time for her to make mine, she only put rice and steak on it and would not finish making it. She made me wait for her to do the same for eight customers behind me. Poor inconsistent service. She also put back into the food containers what she cleaned off the counter. Not all Chipotle locations are created equal. Avoid this one at all costs. read more

This branch embodies Chipotle's fall from grace. The service here is lackadaisical, indifferent and careless (hence the product isn't much better). I got past the meat, rice and beans, only to be passed to a worker engaged in conversation with the cashier. She yapped while I waited. The cashier was looking right at me but didn't prompt his colleague. Finally I took 5 steps over to get in her line of sight and asked for my salsas. She grudgingly and sloppily complied. Other than telling me the price, the cashier continued the conversation and didn't look at me. I asked for a water cup and he slid it to me dismissively, as if he was slinging a beer at the pub. He handed me the receipt without a look or thank you, still yapping with the other worker. Chipotle continues its pitiful slide! read more

My family and I eat at Chipotle regularly but this was the first visit to this one. We were happy with food quality and taste finding it consistent with other positive Chipotle experiences. The service was sketchy at best. It appeared that most of the people on the assembly line were trainees and the pace was unacceptably slow. I would estimate that it took at least twice as long to get our food as it normally would at one of the other locations we frequent. Keep in mind, this was not lunch it dinner rush, it was a slower time of the day. As my frustration grew, a woman in the back turned the kitchen music up and started dancing. I could have lived with it if she was attempting to work while dancing, but she was just dancing. It would be nice if the employees exhibited a "sense of urgency" while doing their jobs. It was easily the worst Chipotle experience I've ever had. read more

This is the worst chipotle I have ever visited. I live very close by and after the 5th visit, I'm just done with this location. First time, I waited nearly half and hour to get my food during a weeknight. I gave them the benefit of the doubt cause they seemed short staffed and 30 some people were in line. However, every other time I've been here - no one is working and it's short staffed. 1 person was running the cash register, filling bowls, and putting on toppings my last visit. For the 6 people in line ahead of me, it took 20 minutes to get us through before I walked out the door. My rice, meat, and beans were sitting out for closer to 10 minutes before I was asked for toppings. Once I got the the register I was told to "hang on a second". To top the short staff experience off...my top for my bowl wasn't fit on tight and slipped off on my short drive home to find my chipotle at the bottom of my bag. Even if you love Chipotle like me - skip this location. read more

This is hands-down the slowest chipotle I've ever been to. I am appalled by the slow service it took me literally 35 minutes to get through the line on a consistent basis during the lunch hour. pitiful. Avoid this restaurant at all costs it's almost quicker to drive to a different location and order. read more
