Really stunning atmosphere, came here for the first time for a friend's birthday dinner celebration. She reserved a table for 12 guests and I was one. Check in to getting seated went fine, it was our immediate servers attitude and snarky demeanor that really turned us off. From taking basic food orders to clearing the table, this server literally had stank face, she didn't even try to hide it. I fear this was racially motivated, from the moment we sat down this server had an attitude. This was my first time experiencing something like this at an upscale restaurant. Everyone liked their food and I'm certain I'll return for the incredible vibe. They had fun cocktails and the atmosphere is truly stunning, they have a huge wrap around outdoor patio and the indoor greenhouse feel of the rooftop dining area was unmatched. Approaching RH from a distance you are filled with anticipation of your evening to come. At first glance it appears to resemble an art museum or a high-end boutique hotel freestanding in the shopping mall parking lot. Will a docent soon approach and offer a tour? Drawn to the cloud modular seating, I dive in and do not want to get out. I could stay right here and forgo the meal. One can only dream.... While there's an elevator, I suggest that you take the stairs so you can experience the full grandeur of the facility. Browse each floor fantasizing about the various pieces that might fit into your home in the future. On this occasion, my wife and I came on a weeknight because we wanted to check out some living room furniture in their beautiful gallery that's connected. Pricey, but gorgeous as if you're walking through a magazine. Chicken Roasted Sandwich - 10/10 This is so simple, but literally cooked to perfection. I'm obsessed with this aioli sauce. Perfectly moist chicken. Maybe I was really hungry but I can't think of anything to improve this dish. Petite Baked Potato - The Classic - 9.3/10 So buttery and good, love the crème fresh, has a classic steakhouse feel Artichokes - 7.5/10 These are more of my wife's thing, but enjoyed them and the sliced potatoes. After wandering through magazine quality showrooms, why not stop for a glamorous meal. However the food at RH anything but. The crispy artichokes were nice and the kale Caesar salad was interesting, but didn't really give Caesar salad vibes. It was just a bunch of kale with copious Parmesan on top. I did not like the lobster roll. A better way to describe it would be a handful of under salted and butter-less lobster sitting on top of a loaf of bread. Not an actually sandwich/roll. I understand that à La Carte is often the way to go at expensive restaurants, but I was disappointed at having to make my own meal. For $56 for a piece of salmon, some broccolini, and potato puree, I want a chef to actually curate something for me, not make me put together disparate items and hope they work well. Create a dish with a protein, a vegetable, and a starch, and if it sounds good I'll bite, literally. The real highlight though was that butterscotch crème brûlée, so we ordered two! Plus, our server brought a few cookies for our birthday. While we had great service and the rooftop ambiance was spot on, I don't think RH lives up to their prices. read more

Long overdue, but after visiting here multiple times, I figured I should give readers an idea of what to expect upon visiting here. I have been here three times in 2021 and 2022 and have always had brunch, and overall I liked their food. It was already not that affordable during that time, so one can imagine how much more dishes cost now. There was clearly a reason that the RH Scramble stayed on the menu for many years and I could attest to it. The scrambled eggs were very tender and flavorful, and abundant in amount. I could taste that they added crème fraîche and I knew that made a difference. Having a piece of avocado next to the eggs was a huge plus, too. The shaved ribeye on charred garlic bread dish was great as well, with the ribeye cooked to medium and remained juicy, making the entire sandwich a rich and pleasant one. The avocado toast leaned towards the simple side because there was a poached egg on the side, which I thought was a good enough idea. The potato purée had good soft texture but was too buttery in taste. Almost every other side dish, from the truffle fries to the charred broccolini to the wild mushrooms, were way too salty, and the vegetables were pretty dry. It was clear what dishes the establishment had chosen to prioritize. One highlight worth mentioning was that the decoration was one of the fanciest I have seen in the cities, with chandeliers on the ceiling and everything in the room looking like quartz or silver, to the point that when I first came here for brunch, my friends and I all decided to dress up. read more

I hadn't been here ever then ended up having two visits within a week of each other. The first was a work meeting for lunch where I had the Cobb salad and shared the fries. So good. I love the freshness of the salad ingredients and the salty, crispness of the skinny fries. The second visit was for a birthday celebration. We shared the grilled shrimp for an appetizer. Cooked perfectly and tasty. For dinner I chose the Branzino which came as a whole fish, head, tail and all. It was delicious. The meat was the perfect temp and the taste was outstanding. No bones were found. Others at my table had the filet and ribeye steaks and they all loved the taste and preparedness of their choices. Since the fries were so good on my first visit, we split fries again and they were crispy, salty and perfect. Since it was my husband's birthday, he got a gooey chocolate chip cookie and a candle. We also split the banana split and the butterscotch crème brûlée. The banana split was phenomenal. Bananas were split and had a nice crust on one side. Three big scoops of ice cream accompanied and caramel was poured over the entire dessert. It was so good. The crème brûlée was also prepared perfectly and the crispness of the crust complimented the eggy custard. Service was excellent both times. The atmosphere is beautiful with glass ceiling and walls, lots of greenery, and many twinkling lights to create an intimate vibe. We had an amazing experience at RH Rooftop Restaurant and this is easily one of my favorite stops so far on my restaurant list. The space is absolutely stunning -- the chandeliers, fountain, and natural light make it feel elegant and upscale, but still comfortable. It's one of those places where you walk in and immediately feel like you picked the right spot. Even the smaller details stand out -- the decor and tables are unlike anything I've experienced before, and even the bathrooms are unique and thoughtfully designed. The food definitely lived up to the atmosphere. My steak was cooked really well with a great char and paired perfectly with the peppercorn sauce. The mini baked potato was delicious, and I tried my partner's puréed potatoes which were incredibly silky and smooth. We were seated right on time for our reservation and the host greeted us warmly. They sat us at a table that had two chairs and a small padded booth. Immediately we were overtaken with a putrid stench, similar to cat urine. For 30 minutes, we smelled everything around us (cloth napkins, chair cushions, ourselves) even accusing the table next to us, trying to figure out the smell, which would assault us in waves. I finally smelled the boxwood hedges behind us and discovered it was coming from them! Management should review. Of course, the ambience is excellent and the food was super delicious. We ordered the grilled shrimp for an appetizer and we both ordered the whole fish dish. Other than lots of bones, the fish was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I recommend the potato purée and asparagus sides. It was my sister's birthday and they came by with a warm complimentary chocolate chip cookie with a lit candle on it; very sweet gesture. We ordered the Affogato dessert which was delicious but the ice cream was way too frozen and it was hard to spoon out, to incorporate with the espresso. Reservations were easy to make from their website. The restaurant is located inside the furniture store on the top floor. There is a host on the first floor to direct you. The restaurant is beautiful! A fountain with fake trees and chandeliers are decorating the ceiling. It's very upscale and spacious. They do not serve cocktails but have an extensive wine list! A few selections of beers and spritzers. I was disappointed in the menu options. For an upscale restaurant the entrees didn't seem upscale at all. Nothing creative and nothing that really stood out. Really simple dishes like salads and sandwiches and herb butter fish. They charged $24 for a burrata starter. It's bread, sweet peppers in balsamic and mozzarella - pretty simple starter that they up charge you for because they can. My lobster roll was tiny and lacked old bay seasoning and buttery goodness. I really liked the ribeye steak - very tender and buttery. All of the sides we got (fries, potato purée, and broccolini) were really good. Each side is enough for only one person and they are around ten dollars each. Service was nice and no issues there. I felt like I was eating off a very basic American restaurant menu but at a very fine dining location. I didn't feel like the dishes were worth the prices they were charging for. read more

My husband made a reservation for dinner, we were seated by the fountain and at first I thought I would be splashed with water but that wasn't the case, the fountain is perfectly placed and I walked away dry. We got a bottle of sparkling water for the table, and few glasses of sparkling wine. The waitress poured and refilled our water, we never did it ourselves. Between courses they came around and wiped the crumbs from our table. Which was a first for me but, it's one of those little things that just made our experience that much better. I wasn't a fan of the Prosciutto shared plate but I loved the mashed potatoes with chives, and the salmon. There is so much thought put into the little details especially in the bathrooms! Had the most beautiful brunch here at the RH Rooftop! Though it was blustery cold outside, the inside remained warm, bright, and airy! It is so fun to walk through the gorgeous furniture store on your way up to the enclosed rooftop restaurant. The cappuccino hit the spot and warmed me right up, and the Mulholland Drive Salad was so delicious and fresh that I would absolutely get it again. Even so, we had to flag down other wait staff as our own waitress did not check on us. It took an hour to order our meal and drinks. And when we got our champagne we ordered, our waitress left it with us. We did not get flutes or extra glasses. Just a full bottle of unopened champagne. I got up from our table to ask the other wait staff for help, be it: water refills, champagne glasses, help opening the bottle, to get our meal order taken so at least it was taken as we waited for our food, for the check, etc. I felt bad I had to keep asking other wait staff for help. DÉLICE DE BOURGOGNE CHEESE (3/5) $21 the cheese is similar to a soft Brie and the Strawberry Preserves with Baguette slices were delicious with the side of red grapes. SHAVED VEGETABLES Salad (3/5) $19 freshly served with a light vinaigrette. CAESAR Salad (3/5) $20, we added grilled chicken for an extra $9. Good, but nothing special. RH BURGER (3/5) $22. Our waitress mentioned they were known for this burger. It was good, but I've had so much better elsewhere. Service has always been great when I dine here. TRUFFLE FRIES (3/5) $20. Not bad, but I actually preferred the regular fries for $10. CAFE LATTE (5/5) $7. Their baristas are excellent! I've always been able to get great espresso drinks here. Parking is free and abundant since the restaurant is right next to a large mall and you can easily park in the mall parking lot. The restaurant is also easily accessible. There is an elevator available to make your trek to the rooftop much easier if you want to wear fancy but uncomfortable shoes. One of our favorite spots to celebrate special occasions and anniversaries! We've been a handful of times and love the ambiance during both the daytime and at night. There's definitely two different vibes depending on the time of day you go. Daytime is usually more casual and nighttime is a lot more fancy. The service has always been very friendly and we usually ask them to take our picture since we're oftentimes celebrating something. We specifically picked this spot because we wanted a space with plenty of natural light (especially in December when daylight is so limited), and it didn't disappoint. I love sitting and chatting while taking in the surroundings, and I especially appreciate the waterfall--it adds such a peaceful vibe. Even in winter, it doesn't feel like so gloomy. The patio is also perfect in the summer, so it's a win no matter the season. As a pescatarian, I was happy they could accommodate my no-meat request with a side of fruit, which I appreciated. Our server, Anna, was super kind and patient, even though we were both pretty indecisive and took our time ordering. This wasn't my first visit--I love coming here for dinner too. It's such an intimate spot with dim lighting, lush greenery, and the calming sound of the waterfall. And it definitely won't be my last visit. I've been meaning to try this restaurant out for a while. I used to live in MN but moved to CA years ago and when I came out last year, this was on my list of places to go eat and I finally made it. I've always been a fan of RH furniture but they took it to another level when it came to how beautiful the rooftop restaurant looked with all the chandeliers and open space. We ordered a few things: Délice de Bourgogne Cheese, Burrata, Asparagus, Salmon, and Truffle fries. I was in heaven. I LOOOOVE me some cheese. Like an egregious amount of cheese. I literally had cheese for an appetizer and cheese for an entree. Everything tasted so good that I ate till I couldn't eat anymore. They did mess up on our order, instead of the asparagus, we got another order of truffle fries, but they quickly fixed it and didn't charge us for the asparagus. That was super kind of them to do.
