Arguably the worst Chipotle location I've ever been to. Out of 5 times ordering from their mobile order system, 4 of the times the order hasn't been ready by the allotted time. Of those 4 times I had to wait, I had to wait anywhere between 15-45 extra minutes to get my food. There was one time a group of 15 people had to wait over 45 extra minutes for their food, many of which were Door Dash or other food delivery service employees, and NONE of us were refunded or discounted for our wait time. To make things worse, 2 out of the 5 mobile orders were made incorrectly, with a lack of ingredients or way too many of the wrong ones. Management: step up your game. Schedule more people during the lunch hour, and make sure those employees are competent enough to assist where they need to in order to keep things running efficiently. Of all these scenarios I have mentioned, there were many employees that walked by and did nothing, even though there were many people waiting on their food at the promised time. TLDR; If you want your order to be made correctly AND on time, go to another location. read more

Tonight, my husband went to the Edina Chipotle for take out: He asked for 3 hardshell tacos with black beans, chicken and cheese. - They were out of hard shell tacos so he got soft tacos instead He came home with 3 cold, soft shell tacos that hardly had anything in them! He told me "the young kid working behind the counter would not give him any more". - I had to heat the tacos in the micro wave because they were stone cold. The few pieces of chicken were dried out and blackened from over frying. - My husband's burrito was also cold also because the rice was practically frozen. This Chipotle has a serious problem and I'm blaming management. As I'm typing this review, the manager is yelling loudly to his employees about how ice cream is on him if they do their closing duties and get out of there on time. Yelling. Loud enough so that I'm across the restaurant and I can hear him perfectly clearly. Also, this time was the second time that they have been without their vinaigrette dressing. This is the worst chipotle location I've been too in the entire west metro. The place is dirty as heck, the cook was sweeping the floor in front of the grill while food was cooking amongst the dust cloud she was making. This trip alone they were out of CO2 and ice in the pop machine, chips were stale, no change so you can't pay in cash, shitty wrapping job on the burritos, big deal to number my four burritos 1-4, most of the food was about out in each bin, no Tabasco out for dine in use, not a clean table to sit at, dirty restrooms, soap dispenser in men's room still not working after a week's time has gone by since I was here last. This is my first review of a place ever because this place is so disgusting!! Maybe time for an inspection by the state of Mn Health Dept. Every time I've been here it's always something else that's wrong or some excuse why they can't do their jobs. If I owned this place I would be embarrassed for sure. Never be back! read more

Multiple bad experiences have finally prompted me to write this review. First, the entire staff is the slowest i have encountered. A line of 10 people will take 20 minutes to get through just about every time I've gone to this location. Everywhere else is about 5 minutes or less. One employee in particular seems to be the main cause for the delay, as he seems to try to chit chat with almost everyone. Second, the staff needs to learn to roll a burrito without it tearing or falling apart. Third, the cleanliness of the tables and napkin/condiment areas is disgusting. Fourth, i was sitting in their enclosed porch area and they turned the music up to a ridiculously loud volume i asked them to turn it down and they didn't. Most recently i went there today at 4pm and the doors were locked!!! With people inside. Ridiculous. I live closest to this location but will now be driving the extra minutes to go to the Bloomington one. read more

Worst Chipotle in the Twin Cities. Showed up for dinner and there was 1 person on the production line. 1 at register. And us waiting in line. I mumbled a complaint to myself and person next to me in line overheard me and agreed...worst Chipotle ever. He said last time he came in they ran out of bowls and cheese. Low and behold, when I got up to order they were out of guacamole for the day (at 7:00pm!). Had a coupon for a free lunch . . . order went well, though I couldn't hear any questions being asked. I was highly amused that the prep girl asked what meat I would like on my Veggie Taco. Food was good. What was so bad that I gave this Chipotle a one star? The pubescent teens running the place. 4 of them were on break and unbearably loud - also making retching sounds - very attractive to dine around (not). They were quite touchy feely with the female staff and jumped in the prep line to get sides of stuff for their meal. I ended up leaving to eat in my car in the parking lot. Not certain what the negative reviews are for, this location of the famous Chipotle brand is great! I rolled in for dinner about 8:30pm one evening and while they weren't busy (maybe due to the 15* temp), the food was hot and service great. I always get the shredded beef tacos with only cheese... This Chipotle is consistently bad. Today we ordered a group order for 6 and every single bowl was made wrong. When we called to tell them, the customer service was awful. We asked them to bring us the correct order and they took nearly THREE hours to bring it and it was cold and soggy-- and one order was still wrong. Want to be annoyed into taking the time to drive to a Chipotle twice as far from your house? Then try this location. Slow service and inattentive burrito manufacturers who forget what I ask them to put on my burrito between when the words leave my mouth to when they grab the spoon are bad enough. Add to that someone arguing with me about what I want on my burrito because they don't have enough of that ingredient cooked to accomodate my request without waiting a few minutes (which I was perfectly happy to do), and I've been convinced to avoid this location. The only reason why I wanted to Yelp Chipotle, is because this specific location is probably the best there is in the state.. well, at least within the metro area that is! I live pretty close to this bad boy now, so whenever I am having a Chipotle kind of day, I stop in here and order my delicious tacos! They never skimp you on the meat, as well as other stuff! I am a huge fan of the corn salsa, and they load that shit on! The people here, surprisingly, have always been smiling, or at least faking a good day pretty damn well! I do have to say, they are pretty decent when it comes to Chipotle attitudes! Also, the service is always speedy, and the store is usually pretty clean! The only thing I hate about it is, they are almost always out of tea! WTF! TEA!!!!!!NOOOOOOOO!!!!! There is always a line at this spot too, but I think that comes with being Chipotle! When it comes to Chipotle, though, I only ever get the Tacos... hard shell that is! To me, their tortillas taste funky. The most disgusting restaurant experience I have had in memory. have eaten at Chipotle before. I usually like the food because of the quality of the ingredients. This is by far the worst chipotle I have ever been to. First off it's mobile order only (not a big problem), but the issue is not seeing them make your food. I have ordered to-go a few times from here and I am absolutely disgusted with how little food they put in my burrito bowl. It's only ever about half full and I order everything I can on it. They are always out of an ingredient whether it be guac, chips, lettuce, etc. or forgetting to put something in my bag (twice they forgot chips and guac). Don't even bother trying to call, they will never answer. Whoever owns this location needs to fix it ASAP. If I were you I would drive the extra few miles to a different location. read more

Picked up food from this location tonight 7.18 and I am beyond disgusted. The place was disgusting behind both the main kitchen area and the kitchen area where they make the to go food. The biggest problem- employees not wearing face masks properly. There were 3 out of 6 that I counted with the masks half on with their noses and part of mouth exposed. These are the same people preparing hundreds of meals for people. A lady ahead of me brought this up to the manager on duty and he didn't change anything. I know this because it was another ten min until my order came up. I threw my food out and will never go to this location again, and it makes me wonder if all Chipotle's are run like this. read more

I personally have not had a bad experience at this location. The staff are friendly and helpful and my order is always made to my liking. I even did a mobile order a couple days ago and it was a great experience. They were running behind schedule and I had to wait an extra 10 mins for my order but I was offered a free side of guacamole. read more

I'm not sure why all the bad reviews... I worked near by and came to this Chipotle 3-5 times a week for 8 months and never had a bad experience. The most I've ever waited in line is 20 minutes, and that's because I came during a dinner rush. What do you expect when 30 people all come at the same time? The staff is friendly and greeted me like a friend every time I came in. They always stopped by my table to say hello, and knew my order by heart. I know I was a regular, but remembering that when you see hundreds of customers a day makes me feel special! I am a regular customer and today I was very disappointed in my service experience. The woman who made my meal had wiped her nose while working the food line and when she was preparing my meal she leaned forward to get ingredients on the back side and her apron and body actually touched my food. For Chipotle, my experience here was okay, but not great. My salad and boyfriends bowl turned out delicious, but the service was sub par. The cashier left the register and went into the back room without saying anything as we were waiting to pay for our food. Chipotle has become such a dump. Every time I come in there is a line that moves so slow then the food is terrible now. My chicken was rubbery and seemed undercooked. The facilities are always dirty now oh and the best part is all the employees were either on break or in the back. The four brave souls working out front were holding the fort down while the manager and others were just hanging out. I used to love chipotle but now I'd rather eat Taco Bell over this place.
