The first is super flavorful authentic Mexican. The second is really good, consistent, basic items (enchiladas, tacos, tamales) that you can order in combos. More streamlined. This hits the second need perfectly. The shredded beef (I like it in a taco) is AMAZING! So juicy and flavorful! The tortillas are lightly fried and just crispy enough. Chili verde is my favorite dish in general. The chili verde here is not what I think of when I'm craving that, but it's so good. I just consider it a different item and don't expect to get what I'd get at another type of restaurant. We need variety in life right? The chili rellano is so good! I order it most often. We love the salsa bar too! I love the relaxed fee of the place. We've met a lot of buffet workers and all seem to enjoy their job and are always easy to work with. They also seem to work together well. It's never super busy, so we never have to wait to be seated. But there are always people there. The best part for me is the price.
