Vibe I was so full from an earlier meal, actually this was back to back meal, i couldn't attempt to take a bite, but since my friend was still hungry from his light dinner, i came here to support his pride for chipotle! His favorite is chipotle! most times we hang out he would say lets chipotle it up! and in my response "Chipotle is my life!" lol Since they were doing a special for the Sac Republic soccer, where you wear a gear from that team, it earns you a bogo deal for anything on the menu. since my buddy was generous and couldn't finish 2 burrito bowls, one of them went to my house for the next day! #thestruggles Layout here is simple with a few tables and 2 major catwalks, one to line up and one to exit with a happy face. There were some outdoor seating, if i remembered correctly. Experience / Service Yes i had a fun experience! The staffs who worked their that night shift was nice and friendly with a smile. Of course i had to say a few more hand full of this and that, and all my requests came true! I did lug home a few lbs of burrito bowl! packed to the top! this was a 2 meal kind of deal but pay for the price of one. Overall It was a quick in and out since i came in full. Veggie burrito bowls all the way for this girl. It's easy, inexpensive, and tastes great. I know there is a bit of controversy right now with this chain, but I've personally never had any issues. I've enjoyed trying several difference items from the menu, drinks, chips, etc. The staff here was efficient, friendly, and got my order right. This is the single worst Chipotle in the world. They skimp on EVERYTHING! Get in line and watch as your huge tortilla gets passed down the line as baby portions of everything are put into the making of it. I could count the amount of pinto beans (15) and about 2 tablespoons of rice. Almost no chicken and at that point I told the idiot burrito maker to "stop". I left in the middle of the burrito making process only to return 5 minutes later with such an annoyed look on my face that the workers looked uneasy at my crazy eyes killa reappearance. I said "Are you kidding me, seriously?" Then talked to the 21 year old manager and she insisted they could make it bigger by getting extras (paying more). I gave my son a 2-$20 gift card receipt that I purchased. He came in to use it as a BOGO but the manager told him that it has to be $30 gift card receipt and would not honor it. I used the receipt with the same amount the week prior without any problems. I don't understand why they would not honor a $40 receipt. We have been going to this place regularly for years. First I would like to say im a huge fan of Chipotle. This particular location I will never go back to. Customer service is terrible here, when you walk in you expect to be greeted and said hello to. I ordered a salad as I usually do it wasn't until I had said that the salad was brown and could I please have a different bowl. She was completely put out that I asked. It continued down the line. This is by far the worst Chipotle I've ever been to. The employees seem miserable, the quality of the food has gone downhill and the seating sucks. I ordered crispy chicken tacos and most of the meat ended up between the shells and not in them. When I asked for extra lettuce the employee made it seem like I was inconveniencing her and had a very poor attitude. The salsa on my taco left a large puddle at the base causing them to blow out making a huge mess. The chicken had no flavor whatsoever. This chipotle location is nowhere near on par with other chipotle locations. Let me walk you through my companies latest experience with them. We placed an order via fax (which we have done 20+ times) and sent one of our employees in a company shirt, driving a company car. When he arrived he was told that they would not be able to run our company credit card (which they have done 20+ times). They made our employee leave empty handed which in turn frustrated our manager and also entire hungry staff. They called our business shorty after and spoke with our manager who (understandably) was very frustrated at this point. They went back and forth and eventually came to the conclusion that they would re-make our food and that my manager could come pay for them himself. After returning from chipotle we were all disappointed to find out that they NEVER RE-MADE THE FOOD AS PROMISED. The food was cold and was obviously the hour plus old food that they had made originally. I would strongly urge you to drive the extra distance to the next chipotle as this one is poorly ran and obviously does not handle issues such as this properly. read more

This is a new location and the staff needs to learn a lot! Firstly they are too casual about the job and mess up one or the other thing each time I am there. The one on E.Bidwell has more professional and experienced staff. Usually my burrito bowl has much less stuff in it than most other chipotles I've been to. I'm giving two stars only because I like chipotle food. The mobile order service here sucks. We do mobile order all the time and every single time we pick it up it's never ready, and there is never anyone in line. Tonight was the third time we had the same guy, he doesn't check the mobile requests. We go to pick up the food and it's not ready but there is 6 people working with no one in line. Would be faster to just come in and order myself. After waiting 10 minutes after our food was supposed to be ready, we finally got our order. The girls who work there are really nice, I'm just tired of mobile orders almost never ready. read more

I come to this Chipotle quite often after a long work day, and when I get inside the environment is very friendly and the food is always great! But there is this one employee that works there named Rachel and she really tries to remember your order and it just shows that kinda of customer service experience that every restaurant should have. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Chipotle, so I hate having to give a bad review. The food is fine here, but I went recently with my family for a school fundraiser and had a horrible experience. We walked in, there were at least 20 people in line supporting the fundraiser and not ONE person eating in the restaurant. The reason??? The air conditioning was broken and it was stifling hot! After standing in line 20 minutes I got nauseated. The outside temp was 102, and felt cooler than inside. They didn't even have fans going. When it was finally our turn I asked how long the A /C had been broken, and the employee said TWO MONTHS! That's inexcusable...especially for a restaurant! To add salt to our ruin, we get home, open our bag of food, and they had messed up the order. I wrote an email on their website, but have received no response.... read more

A Chipotle conveniently located by my house!? SCORE. The staff are typically friendly/chill, the food is consistently good (portions are not), and the line is "usually" less chaotic than the E. Bidwell location. My one complaint would be the seating arrangement -- several family-style benches (granted, the square footage is tight). Perhaps "benches" isn't the correct word? Either way, I dislike having to sit in close proximity to a stranger when seating is limited. It's nothing that I can't/won't get over, just a mild complaint. read more

While I appreciate the relative consistency of the food, this location is certainly heavy with the school cafeteria vibe minus the cantankerous lunch ladies. In their stead, a group of equally cantankerous 20-somes who are apparently quite panicked by a bit of a line. While I appreciate the speedy service, the staff could have avoided yelling over other patrons and their fellow burrito slingers to find out what I wanted in my bowl (I'm lookin' at you, two lip piercing dude). I didn't even get to finish my preferences before my bowl was closed up for purchase. The experience was more than a little off-putting. Well, let's start off by saying it's a Chipotle. You walk in, get your food, and nom on down. It's pretty much the same quality food you'll get at any chipotle, but there's one difference here. Their staff. They're always friendly, attentive, and quick. There's one person that stands out, and I think it's their manager, Dina. She's always got a million things going on, but never hesitates to be extremely personable and kind. She's definitely a cut above the rest. I always order online, and I've never had any issues with my order. Definitely recommended. read more

I have never recieved better service at a fast food restaurant. Darin was very accommodating with a situation that I have been criticized for at the East Bidwell store. I will never go to another location again. Please commend him and his management skills. As a manager myself, I was thoroughly impressed. This is the second time in this last week that I've had a terrible customer service experience at this specific chipotle location. As someone who works in customer service I was appalled by the lack of professionalism. As I walked in, there wasn't a single customer, yet I was not even acknowledged as a customer when I walked in. There was one girl that was working with the rice in the kitchen that asked for help with the "line" but she was ignored by her coworkers. As for the young girl that took my order, I would definitely not say that she was enthusiastic. She has taken my order 2 times before and has been extremely rude and condescending each time. This was not a one time bad experience. When I was going to pay, there were 5 girls standing at the counter next to me yet I stood there waiting to pay for my bowl while they carried on with their conversations. I asked for a bag of chips and it was quite literally thrown across the counter at me. When I went to put my card in she went back to doing whatever it was she was doing while all of her friends were sitting there talking. I was extremely unimpressed with the staff in the location. As for the food, it's the same at each location. I would suggest going to the one down the road next to dicks sporting goods. read more

First off I love Chipotle, lets get that out of the way. My complaint though is about this specific location. This is the first review ive ever written because usually i don't bother to complain but i just felt the need to after this. First time i went there I ordered my usual bowl and the guy serving me seemed pretty nice, but the problem was he kept messing up and forgetting everything I was telling him. I would say to add one thing and he would add a different thing instead. This happened 3 times. This didn't have much of an impact on me though cause I understand that this is a new location. The second time though i decided to give it a second chance and went with my cousin. We had got a coupon from Likeacoupon.com on our phones (which is pretty reliable in my experience) for a buy 1 get 1 free for a bowl, burrito, and ect.. Of course I wanted to make sure the coupon was valid so i asked the worker at the beginning of the line if they accepted it and she looked at it and said yes. So with that i ordered two bowls, both having guacamole and double chicken, and happily went to pay my 11.02. At first i gave the cashier my phone and she tried to scan the bar code from it but it apparently wasn't working and then out of no where the worker next to her told me "Oh! Thats a fake coupon." Then i stood there dumbfounded, with two burrito bowls with guacamole and double chicken waiting to be paid for. They tell me AFTER I order my two bowls? So apparently the worker I asked at the beginning if the coupon i ordered was valid, lied to me? What? Im not really one to cause a scene so i ended up just paying the 22 dollars and getting out of there. But seriously? I feel kind of like i was scammed. Oh I so love Chipotle! I was excited to see they built a second location in Folsom especially since this one is a bit closer. It's got a different décor then the traditional Chipotle's and has a more modern feel. Not a big fan of the long tables as opposed to the more intimate ones, but this works. Smaller and more crowded too. Food is consistently good though! read more
