This is the worst Del Taco I've been to. It is consistently bad. I have loved Del Taco for decades. I used to work at one and the food is usually pretty fresh compared to other fast food places. I've been to probably 40 different Del Tacos between here and Oklahoma. This one literally messes up my order every time I go through the drive thru. My order is always missing at least one item. Sometimes more than one or it'll be something like I order chips and cheese and they only put in the chips or only the cheese (both have happened). I think this is the third time straight I've gone to get milkshakes for my kids and the chocolate one has virtually no chocolate. I hate to take them off my list because Del Taco has always been my favorite fast food joint but I've already given this one way more grace than any other restaurant. read more

This spin-off taco bell is basically the same thing as taco bell, so I love it. One thing they do better is the nachos. They look radioactive and are smaller than I would have expected, but are very good. The mini size of the milkshake costs two dollars. It is small but not tiny, and I love that they have a small snacky option. Service was what you would expect and ambiance could be better. so I stopped in Del taco today and bought two classic combo burritos, beef and cheddar all over the menu board. It says over half a pound each. There are 16 ounces in a pound half of a pound would be 8 ounces. I went to Del tacos website to their nutritional information and they show 240 g which is 8.47 ounces so they would be correct in saying that that's over half a pound. I will agree with that. However, when I got my meal, I grabbed the bag and I went that feels awful light so when I I weighed them and as you can see pictures do not lie. Do not believe the hype. It is marketing bullshit. I doubt I will hear anything about about my experience or being shorted on the weight of the burritos, but 4 ounces is a quarter pound and if you go by their measurement, two burritos should weigh 17 ounces total mine weigh 13 ounces total. Still some deals left despite inflation pressuring some of the better free stuff outside of fast food / here and tacos aren't that bad. I've been here quite a few times. There were times where they made it right but after my last few visits, I'm done giving them another try. I was introduced to del taco when living in So Cal and I was so excited to have one here. I tried my best to give them many chances but there were too many failures. The amount of meat, lettuce, and cheese is half the amount. The top half of the taco is taco shell. This happened way too many times. I've been to many other del tacos and this location is definitely the worst by far. I'll come back once I see better reviews of them making things right. Living the drive thru COVID life. This location serves up food pretty quickly and served hot. The drive thru staff are friendly. BUT play it safe and check your order before driving away because more than likely they handed you the wrong order. This has happened to me a couple of times within the past few months. However the food and pricing are good. Two words... value taco. These suckers are 79 cents. Surprisingly they are pretty good. Basic simple ground beef taco served in a hard shell with shredded cheese and lettuce. The value taco is my go to fave. The value tacos are smaller and cheaper than their regular taco. The bean burritos are 99 cents. Also basic and simple. The fries aren't bad either. They are thick crinkle cut.They serve a good burger too. BUT they have one drive thru window and currently no dine in. So when they hand you the wrong bag of food. (By the way, it's not the cashiers fault. She/he has to rely on the person in the kitchen handing her/him the bag.). .If you happen to not check your order and drive on off and realize later it is wrong. Bruce Almighty, it is an ordeal to get that fixed. They do not answer the door. The location phone number that is printed on the receipt is for a fax machine. Your only recourse is to get back into the drive thru line and repeat. But I always decline the food and request a refund. I Tip: Before driving off out of the drive thru, check your order. I didn't feel like cooking and nothing sounded good but I decided to go through the Del Taco drive-true last night. Not only were the fries cold and tasted like they had been sitting for hours, they were only half full (see photo) and that was after I put in the ones that had fallen into the bag. Seriously!? You know damn well that the Del Taco worker knew he/she didn't fill the fry container. I also ordered a quesadilla which was cold. The cheese wasn't even melted on the inside. I think this place is better than the other well known taco place. As a rule better food, better service, and better choices. Diet Dr Pepper is also a great option. I find the dining room to be well cared for as well. Bathrooms could use some attention. read more

Our first time to this chain ever- Chick Fil A is next door and very busy so we tried something new. We have to say that the food is better than Taco Bell, but it is comparable. I got the special burrito, chicken and avocado. The size was massive, but it fell apart and was very sloppy. I felt the burrito was dry with just chicken, avocado, black beans, fresh tomatoes with rice and some cheese. It was equivalent to something you can make at home in a hurry with minimum effort. There were stars deducted as the lady taking orders and calling out names to retrieve the food was rude and even argued with a customer when he asked a simple question. I just love Del Taco! I've been eating there since the late 70's. I don't know what it is about their bean and cheese burritos, but they are the best. This was my first time at Del Taco so I wasn't too sure of what to order nor expect. I ordered a small churro, chicken quesadilla snacked, value taco and the queso nachos. Everything was good, fresh and hot. The churro was amazing! It was made to perfection I would definitely go back just for these. The other items were also really good and just enough for a ($6) snack on the go. Oh and the employees were very nice. I changed my order at the speaker and window without any issues. The guy actually made a joke saying "No" when I asked for the change in my order but in a very friendly playful matter he made me laugh. read more

Well you see, what had happened was... When you go to a Del Taco, you kind of expect a certain amount of... well, frankly, you expect a certain "ew" factor. BUT, and this is I like BIG BUTTS kind of huge, this Del Taco actually looks like it was built in this past century, and it's cleaned as though it just opened last week! I was crazy impressed. She had an attitude from the beginunh and carried it through to the end when she kept repeating, "How many mild sauce packets would you like... How many mild sauce packets would you like..." Honestly I would've never ever ever ever chosen to eat at Del Taco. My reason being that I don't really like Mexican/Tex-Mex food in the first place. However, someone highly recommended their Thursdays deal - 3 Grilled Chicken Soft Tacos for $2! That sounded like a really good deal. The tacos were pretty decent. We only go for the deal on Thursdays, and I've yet to try any other food items. Not sure I want to risk it. My only complaint is the service. The night crew at this location does not work gloves when preparing food. I've been through drive-through a couple times and noticed through the window that they are not preparing food with gloves. I kindly requested the other night for their night crew to wear gloves while preparing my food, both food handling preparers looked out the window and was looking at me as I requested for them to wear gloves and had a attitude. The little short, Hispanic lady who works the night shift basically just turned her back and was laughing and dancing and did not wear gloves, but she did not prepare our food. This Del Taco deserves no stars. Here is a heads up regarding a food handler's disgusting behavior. Was in the restaurant on Christmas Eve. A young male worker was behind the counter. He went outside for a break, most likely a cigarette break. He returned 10 minutes later with his dingy grey hoodie over his head. Went directly behind the counter to work. He stood there facing the restaurant area and picked his nose. I noticed what he was doing and glared at him. He saw me glaring and darted in the back as if to hide. This Del Taco has serious sanitary and health violations. Clearly, no hand washing nor grooming standards. This is a red flag, and only the tip of the ice berg. I reported the incident to Corporate Del Taco and their response was weak. The manager called me. She did not seem to have a plan of corrective action. This place is lacking in supervision and training. The manager was to have the Regional Manager call me, but that never happened. Fast food is fast food. But what makes it different is the service. I came to this del taco before a movie (got in line at 8:30pm) to one car in front of me to order. I waited over TEN minutes and no one took the car in front of mes order. I literally park my car in the drive thru, walked into the store and asked them what was going on. In which the woman who was supposed to be working the drive thru jumped into action. Absolutely no apology and explanation other than "we are short staffed". Well from the time I reminded them of the cars, we ordered and got our food in under 2 minutes. It took over TWENTY minutes to just order. I could have let it go if someone had apologized, but no.
