Nice, new store. There's a bunch of restaurants near here. We received our food pretty fast. Our order was accurate. Everything was hot and nicely prepared. My son prefers the chicken sandwich here more than Chick-fil-a. I don't think the rest of us think that- but it is a very good sandwich.

We Doordash a couple times a week, and this is not a Doordash issue. I ordered a 3 piece tenders meal. Only one tender actually had chicken in it, and it was so overcooked that it was dry and terrible. The rest of the "chicken"was just cooked breading. This is on the staff that prepared the food. Horrible quality! Make sure you inspect the quality of your order prior to leaving the restaurant if you get takeout or you'll be sorry.

I was traveling north and decided to stop by to get the infamous chicken sandwich. I ordered spicy with some mashed potatoes and gravy and iced tea. Service was quick, order was easy and ready in under 3 minutes. Gotta say... it was very good and a large portion. Bun held up and love the pickles. I added honey cause it's just so good. Chicken was tender, juicy and crispy on the outside. I would definitely put this in my top 3 fried chicken sandwiches. At $3.99 your not going to beat this value. Would I wait 30 min uh no, but with small line oh yeah!

Store 8952 is the worst I've ever been to. The customer service of the guy in the drive through was awful. His attitude was as if I was burdening him by going there to order food. When I asked for 2 of each dipping sauce, he said he'd have to charge me for them, and I said that was fine. He then proceeded to charge me extra, and gave me absolutely ZERO sauces. Will never be returning to this awful establishment.

So I waited in the drive thru line fo 45 min. To get a chicken sandwich and found this plastc bag tie in my sandwich very disappointed

A young gentleman who claimed his name is Rafael was EXTREMELY RUDE at the drive through window of the Popeyes at 1403 West Patrick Street in Frederick, Maryland this evening. This was the nastiest experience I've encountered at this restaurant!!! This is my 5th time coming here since I relocated to the area and every other time the staff was polite & efficient. I have no idea why this young man was so cold, rude and condescending but he should NOT be working at the drive through window interacting with people!!! I have never had anyone shut me down in such a RUDE way and be so short with me as if I was a nuisance because of how I ordered my food! I am appalled at the level of disrespect. When I drove around he tried to clean up his initial response slightly by saying "you can ONLY order it like that TODAY" as if I don't have the option & freedom of ordering my meal any way I please so long as I'm paying for it. He was a young Hispanic man with a TERRIBLE attitude, made no eye contact but rolled his eyes, no greeting, no smile, horrendous customer service. I was not rude back to him because as a Nurse I understand that people have bad days. However he cut me off & talked over me at the drive through window and ignored my specific request (no drink, no biscuit, add gravy on the side) and his reaction and interaction with me was so unnecessarily rude. I'm unsure if he was having a bad day of what, but I am putting this review on Yelp and Google as well. Shame on him for being so disrespectful to his elders! With no apology. I pay money and am allowed to order my food how ever I see fit so long as I am paying for it in full. Him being annoyed and rude was unnecessary and I felt totally disrespected. I do not appreciate having someone young enough to be my child rolling his eyes at me because he is in a bad mood and is stuck at work. That is NOT how you treat a paying customer or people in general. I would leave 0 stars if I could and I am writing corporate.

We opted to sit outside since we had our dog with us. The server was very friendly, with great service and they are very dog friendly and had water bowls outside for them. I am from Eastern NC, so I have a pretty good idea of bbq and BC staples. I decided to try the flounder rather than the bbq this time. The founder was disappointing. It was a bit on the bland side and the batter is a little confusing. I was expecting a cornmeal style batter or similar, but got something different. The fish itself had potential to be very good. The beans also left a lot to be desired, just lacked flavor and taste. The business looks like they do a lot of catering as opposed to dining (possible a lot of to go orders, too).

Side note: I'm still looking for my go-to bbq joint in town, but I think this ranks a little higher for me compared to Black Hog and Mission. Both are good with the meat... but I'm a sides girl. No sides have wowed me yet, but PIGS probably has the better of the three. *The ever controversial mac and cheese (especially at a BBQ joint) is...different and unlike any I have had before. It's good: creamy rich cheddar without all the baked on extra cheese- it's strangely light like a buttered noodle. Classics like the and potato salad were underwhelming in flavor. Appetizers: Wings - fried and sauced, fried green tomatoes, house made pickles, and fresh chips with their rub seasoning (the chips were my favorite!) - all solid starters. The wings were huge! Lunch: I ordered the 2 meat and 2 sides bbq platter- jalapeño cheddar sausage (with that nice snap), smoked chicken, coleslaw and mac and cheese. It came with their jalapeño cornbread (it didn't have a ton of flavor). I'm a sucker for cornbread usually. Listen- that bar was on point, service and ambience was excellent- and they were slammed today - down a chef- and they put out some great food. Take those sides to the next level and this place is a 5.

In the door we noticed the place was clean and had a very warm and cozy vibe but had a sports bar atmosphere with plenty on TV's to watch a sport of your choice. The staff was super friendly and the menu has all your favorites. Our server was Nicole who was actually amazing in every way, very sweet and attentive to whatever we wanted. We ordered a small pizza, The special which was ribs and a side, we chose Cole Slaw and of course wings (Original). The pizza was very good, had Cup n Char Pepperoni which is what I expect from a Buffalo bar/resteraunt. The only thing is it could have stayed on the brick another minute or so to crisp up the bottom more. The Ribs were dynamite, perfectly cooked with a slight char on the bottom. They were fall off the bone with an amazing smoke flavor. The Cole Slaw was awesomeness as its how we like it, sweet and creamy. Now, drum roll, the wings, cooked wonderfully to be juicy and saucy but...yes but, could have been a little crispier but, they were great. We live 50 minutes away and will travel to come back. Great job.
